This includes a small supermarket, a 7-11 store, a service station, several excellent restaurants and a variety of shops at the Tanger Outlet Mall. The spectacular new North Carolina Aquarium Complex at Jennette's Pier is also only a mile north of The Cork and the very popular Outer Banks Fishing Pier/ Fish Heads Bar and Grill is a mile south. Bodie Island lighthouse, the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, and the Cape Hatteras National Seashore are only minutes away. A short drive takes you to Roanoke Island and all its attractions including the N.C. Aquarium, Festival Park with its replica of the good ship Elizabeth II, the Lost Colony outdoor drama and Fort Raleigh National Historical Site. You can see, hear and smell the ocean from the house and it's just a few steps away. South Nags Head features a five mile long multi-purpose "super-sidewalk" where vacationers can bike, jog, or just walk safely away from traffic. Inside, you'll find all stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, a comfortable living room, and an upper level den with ocean views. There are also many other pleasant places to sit and read or chat including 3 decks facing both East and West so you can catch the sunrise or the sunset; some rays or some shade.
