Villa frente al mar en Contadora - Internet, satélite y caja fuerte

My Villa is around 18 years old now and Panama's weather and climate are very harsh on beachfront properties. Keeping the Villa well maintained in a good state of condition is a constant challenge, and ensuring all the appliances and equipment remain in good working order is a perpetual ongoing effort - Providing my guests a great experience, and being able to deliver on the expectations that are promised are very important to me. This is not a new and modern place with the latest and greatest designs and furniture - but everything we have works well with fairly new appliances ,and nothing needs replacing. I absolutely strive for a 5 star review each and every time a guest stays, and so far I have managed to achieve that 22 times out of the last 28 reviews. The remaining 6 reviews we only managed a 4 start rating which means those guests did not feel we were perfect, or that we could have done better? My hope is to always get a 5 star review so if any guest of mine feels I have not delivered on their expectations - then please let me know as soon as possible, so that I have the opportunity to address the issue and make things right.

It can really rain hard on Contadora and sometimes the wind blows in from the side. When this happens then many of the Villas experience a bit of a water drip. The roof had an issue over 1 year ago and was fixed. We will be looking at this right away.

Of course we would love to receive you again, Contadora Island has a special magic that makes all who visit it fall in love. Its a peaceful and beautiful place this make it a true paradise to stay!

In the past our guests have always been able to use the chairs that the local hotel on the beach has, however that hotel has recently changed ownership and they no longer allow beachgoers to use their chairs - therefore we will be purchasing our own chairs that our guests can use. Contadora is an island not much larger than a few golfcourses combined - it takes around 15 minutes to drive on a golf cart from one end of the island to the other, so if you are coming for more than two weeks you may run out of new things to do each day. Contadora is a place to come to, to unwind and relax, and enjoy some family time on white sand beaches, with crystal clear ocean water, and dining in local restaurants where tame deer come up to your tables. The most common form of transport is a gold cart. You will not find any wild "Spring Break" type activities here.

We have been listed with HomeAway and VRBO for 10 years now. On this particular booking we did fumble the ball on a number of critical plays. Firstly our caretaker arranged for a different family member to meet the guests on the beach upon their arrival (and none of us had been advised of this change - I am so sorry about that). 2ndly the door of the "Safe" had not been left "Open" from the previous guests use - (I am sorry about that) 3rdly apparently the sofa couch was a little wet and the cushions needed to be dried before being able to be used - (I am still not sure exactly how this happened - possibly from the earlier guest that checked out the day before) Anyway, for this inconvenience the guest was refunded 50% of the cost of the rental - so all things being considered, I think we did our best to make things right. You can be sure that we will double our efforts to make sure things like this don't happen again, as we truly do prefer getting 5 start ratings as opposed to 4 stars. This could possibly be our final year in the rental market as some of our team members are battling life challenging illnesses, so each extra booking we are able to get is a blessing
