Summary:
Unit 202 is a privately owned condo suite with a King bed in the bedroom and a Queen Murphy bed in the living room, sleeping up to 4 guests. The bathroom features a walk-in shower and the kitchenette features full-sized appliances for your convenience. Admire the incredible ocean view from the wall of windows or private balcony, or walk down to the beach with our easy beach access staircase. Last, enjoy HOA maintained heated pool during your stay, as well as the cable TV and Wi-Fi!

The Space:
Unit 202 is a privately owned condo suite with a King bed in the bedroom and a Queen Murphy bed in the living room, sleeping up to 4 guests. The bathroom features a walk-in shower, and the kitchenette features full-sized appliances for your convenience. Admire the incredible ocean view from the wall of windows or private balcony, or walk down to the beach with our easy beach access staircase. Last, enjoy HOA maintained heated pool during your stay, as well as the cable TV and Wi-Fi!

Guest Access:
The condo comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. The indoor, heated salt water pool and hot tub can be accessed via a Pool Code on the North side of the Office building.

This is a 2nd floor unit, there are 14 steps required to access the unit.

Enhance your Lincoln City experience by utilizing our local transit options! You can now schedule convenient pickups directly with Intercity Transit by calling them. Whether you're planning a trip to the beach, shopping areas, or local attractions, this service ensures a seamless and enjoyable exploration of our coastal town.

Other Things to Note:
This is a condo in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility. The condo comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer.

Interaction with Guests:
D Sands Rentals manages all 63 privately owned beachfront condos. We have a rental office on the property that is open no less than 8 hours a day. We give you your space, but we’re available on-site if you need anything.

There was never any hot water in the kitchen. I had to heat water on the stove to do dishes. Some of the dishes in the shelf were dirty upon arrival. The only hot showers were between midnight and 5am. The water got warm a couple times in the bathroom sink. Aside from the problems with hot water the room was great.

A simple getaway

Our stay at this property was very pleasant and we enjoyed the surrounding shops and environment. Overall, a great stay. Some notes would consider having more table and lighting options in the room. However, those are small details that don’t overshadow the wonderful vacation. My family and I will definitely return in a future time.

Filthy filthy filthy

This place was filthy and disgusting. We left a day early and would have gone sooner had we found accommodations else where. The room was not cozy at all. It had mismatch furniture, spread far apart and lacked cleanliness. The door to the patio had boogers and finger prints all over it, the door handle was falling off, and the door could barely be pulled open or closed because the door was too big for the frame. The patio had bird droppings all over it and black mold on the furniture. The carpet on the interior was so dirty that your feet or socks would turn black after coming out of the shower. The bathroom toilet was filthy and not properly secured to the floor. The toilet rocks up and down as you sit on it like you are on a bull ride. The shower cold/hot water handle is not caulked and moves all over as you turn the shower on or off. I’m sure there is water damage and mold behind that wall. The bedroom had two mirrors one had kid finger prints all over it with more boogers and the other mirror above the desk had a sneeze from someone on it. The comforter on the bed had brown stains and the comforter on the closet also had brown stains. This place was the worst place I have ever stayed at and I would like a refund!

We had a fantastic 10 days on the Coast. Our room stone temple pirates was excellent. Great beach. We will definitely be back.

STP for the win!

From the moment we walked in, we were floored by the view. The ocean and beach are RIGHT THERE, just as promised, and they’re so close you can smell bonfires and sea air mingling perfectly! We patronized nearby businesses (Naughti Mermaid and Pier 101) and had great drinks and food both nights we were there. The ONLY drawback for STP is that there is a floodlight for the beach directly above your balcony, so if that will bother you, draw the curtains once it kicks on.

Just ok

The room was just ok. It was clean enough but older and needed painting. The facility was good, right on the beach but they were doing some construction on the ground floor that was annoying. Wish we would’ve known that before we booked the room. It was the typical hotel like stay with “lots” of people noise coming from above. We probably won’t stay there again.

Great, clean place, especially having a 11 month old. Only annoyances would be construction took parking spots (week days), the hot tub was closed on and off the whole trip, pool towels weren’t ready in the mornings, and they didn’t have the pool open and ready at 10AM like the site says. Not sure if it’s a staffing issue or just bad timing, but the room was excellent (probably one of our favorite spots), beach access is quick and easy, and it seemed their pool was warmer than most other pool in the area. Would go again!

Great property right on the beach

This property is clean and comfortable. It is well appointed and the proximity to the beach can’t be beat! I recommend this property for any visit to Lincoln City.

Short vacation

The location was wonderful. The facility was exactly as described. We would have liked to have a few more utensils available in the kitchen for cooking. Glad the description was detailed to express that there was no elevator. Good to know in advance.

Wonderful

We were so happy with the view and sounds of the waves. The apartment was clean, in a wonderful spot, and had everything we needed. We we’re very surprised to have a kite show next door. The view from our apartment was unbelievable. We could see everything. I recommend this apartment to any small family. A bonus is that it is very close to the River outlet. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Amazing!

I cannot say enough good about this place. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and condos in Lincoln City and Newport, and this is my new favorite. It is incredibly close to the water, more than I’m used to. The room is open, bright, and spacious. I raved the whole time about how clean it was. Comfortable beds. We loved having the Murphy bed in the living room to lay and relax on to look at and listen to the ocean. We didn’t use the kitchen, per se, but looking around it seemed to be well stocked including a few basic spices. There was a mix qmoin

Great view of beach

We really enjoyed being this close to the beach. Loved watching everything from the patio after our long early morning walks. E didn’t cook much but it seemed stocked to do that. Management was responsive to our needs.

Loved it!

We loved the accommodations and the location! My 92 y.o. mother said the Murphy bed was very comfortable. Suggestion: the room needs TWO comfortable chairs in it and we didn't even use the table.

Excellent stay

We loved room 202. It was very clean and fresh. Very nice bathroom upgrades and new paint since we were there last. This is our favorite get away and the ocean view is wonderful. My private notes to owners - check the bathroom towel rack it's coming loose on one side and front door locks but doesn't have a good seal around it. Looking forward to our next stay!

We've always enjoyed staying at D Sands over the last 15 years or so. We always come there in November but can't always make it there. We came this year because I was asked to speak at a minister's conference. We usually are here with family. There's a lot to see and do here as well as just hanging out in our rooms. On another note, I'd like to express my feelings on the pricing. I feel the price is getting to the place we will be looking for another place to stay. That's disappointing! But I feel we had to pay for things that should be included in the price of the room, not add on's. And with the add on's the price for our stay was well over $200.00 a night.
