Nice neighborhood

The house could be so much nicer with some maintenance, new furniture and a deep cleaning. Most things in the house are very outdated and in need of replacing. There were only 5 of us and only 2 were able to get warm showers before the water was cold. While the outdoor space was nice, the furniture was not particularly comfortable and hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. Convenient location to the beach.

Highly recommended holiday home in Bethany Beach

Wonderful stay at a lovely property with convenient private access to a beautiful beach. Perfect venue for a get together with friends - kids and adults alike had a brilliant time. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Spacious Home for Family Gathering

Spacious and clean home allowed us to relax with family. Quiet beach. Enjoyed playing pickleball and riding bikes into town and the nearby Fresh Pond state park. I bought a new gas tank for the outdoor grill -- the next few guests should be all set.

Great house in private beach location

Large house with plenty of bedrooms and one big communal space. Outdoor porch is very large with lots of different spaces to hang out in. Small sliver of ocean view, but you are only one house in from the beach and the public access to the beach is very convenient (a well-maintained boardwalk). Community is gated and private, which makes the beach uncrowded. Nevertheless there is a lifeguard right by the main beach access. Definitely recommend!

Family vaca

The house accommodated eight adults nicely. It was in a quiet private gated community. Close to the beach with an easy walk given the wooden walkway and mat leading up to the beach. Location was good, but closer to the town of Bethany and Fenwick. House floors could’ve been cleaner and one of the made up beds had sand in it. Grill was small to cook for eight people, but we made due. One of the garbage can was overflowing when we arrived on Saturday and the garbage men only took one can on Monday. The porch was nice and would’ve been much more enjoyable to sit on, converse and relax, but the house next to us was being renovated so every morning at 7:30 the workers would open their metal ladders and turn their radio on so it was hard to sleep in/relax. The house had some beach supplies. We brought our own, but did use the beach cart that was nice and big and fit all of our beach stuff. All in all in was a nice vacation and home.

My Review

**Location and beach access = 5 stars **Layout of the house = 5 stars **Cleanliness = 1 star (as soon as we walked into the home we noticed the cleaning crew did a terrible job. we had to purchase a vacuum and cleaned the home ourselves). There were ant traps all over the first floor and was an eye sore. Our kids (toddlers) were being constantly told not to touch the traps. its obvious they have a pest problem that needs to be addressed. ***furniture = 1 star - furniture is is old and dirty. a little bit of TLC in this area would go along way for renters. It doesnt cost much to put some updated and clean furniture in the home. **One thing i didnt like was that they kept sending technicians to fix something without coordinating with us. We were surprised by the visits and had to turn them away. If you dont care about the cleanliness or out dated furniture then this might be the right place for you. for the amount they charge per week I could have booked a cleaner and more updated place elsewhere. the only reason i am giving them 3 stars and not 1 star is for the beach access and layout of the place. wont book this place again. Sea Del 6 bedroom

Very nice clean home. Big deck with lots of chairs. Great outdoor shower. AC worked very well. Beautiful beach. Walkway to beach is very nice but while this house is 2 houses from the beach, you have to take a longer walk to access the beach. Nice to have little things like TP, foil, etc from previous guests and soap/shampoo from the cleaning service. Have stayed in places where there is nothing so this was appreciated. We cook our meals and could have used more cooking supplies. Nice to have towels and bedding - beds were made! But go thru everything as soon as you get there. We needed more towels and some beds were incomplete. Cooking for 12 with one fridge is a challenge.

Wonderful home steps from the sand!

My family stayed in this home for a wonderful week-long vacation. The location was perfect, the beds were very comfortable, and the place was sparkling clean. Great running paths across Route 1 and a beautiful guarded beach made it a pretty awesome stay.

Fantastic!

We were 9 adults & 3 children under 3. House had more than enough room for everyone to be comfortable and spread out. Location was perfect- gated community with private beach & lifeguards & just a short walk to the beach & short drive to attractions & restaurants. We loved everything about it. The only issue we had was running out of propane for the BBQ grill at the beginning of our stay. We contacted Vacasa, the property manager, but no one responded to provide more propane. Other than that, we would stay here again.

This house saved our family vacation!

This house saved our family vacation! We were delighted to find this 6-bedroom, 4-bathroom house that is just steps from a quiet, gorgeous beach! In addition to ample space for our large family, the house was clean and well-managed. The beach was close enough that our 7- year-old could carry her own chair to the beach, and the kids loved using the private outdoor shower! The kitchen was well appointed and we ate several dinners on the large porch. While we had never been to Bethany Beach before, the town was charming and lively. We were able to do some local shopping, eat at a number of nice restaurants, and enjoy the beautiful beaches. We highly recommend 39678 Sea Del Drive and look forward to returning! This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
