This is a beautiful & somewhat luxurious log cabin with a western decor. While it is situated pretty far up a country road, on a small mountain, it was actually only 10 or so minutes from Logan. One of the highlights was the very nice hot tub. We enjoyed soaking after nightfall in this rather large, but new hot tub with its cool lights and multiple nozzles.While we slept in the master bedroom located just off the kitchen, both the upstairs bedroom and the basement smaller bedroom looked cozy and like fun places to sleep.Sitting in the comfortable living area was also enjoyable - looking at the large stone fireplace, the super high ceilings, the second floor balcony, and just the overall well-planned structure of the cabin.Great choice for visiting the Hocking Hills area!

Excellent and clean cabin!

We have a wonderful time visiting Hocking Hills and our accommodations were great! Very clean and we had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, hot tub and furnished perfect! We would book here again!!!

Holiday Trip

Rose’s Retreat was perfect. I nice getaway with our teen children during the holidays. House was great and the hot tub was perfect. We would highly recommend!

Wonderful Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at Roses Retreat! It was 8 adults and it was perfect! Everyone enjoyed their self! Anytime we had a questions the owners would respond promptly! Would stay here again!

Great Spring Break Getaway!

We had a fantastic time at Rose's Retreat for a few days during spring break. The cabin had everything we could have needed, including a Keurig coffee pot. Thank you for thinking of all the extra touches you had in the cabin. We hope to be back!

Family get away

The cabin was very clean and comfortable for my family of five. We enjoyed the hot tub. Used it almost every night along with the air hockey table. The grill works great as well. The cabin is also with a reasonable distance to all the attractions. Would definitely recommend.

Peaceful & Quiet Getaway

We chose the Hocking Hills area to go hiking, enjoy the out of doors and this home helped us to keep that feeling going all day long. We went as two couples so we each had our own bedroom and bathroom! The living area is perfect to just relax or sit around the big table and play games. And then there is the front porch, it was a perfect place to just relax and be one with nature.

Beautiful Cabin

We had an amazing stay at Rose’s retreat with 4 adults and 2 young kids. The cabin is fresh, clean, and beautiful. The view from the deck is lovely and we enjoyed having coffee or drinks out there while the kids played. It is secluded but still 15-20 min from Logan and Hocking Hills State Park. We enjoyed all of the amenities including hot tub, game room, and fire pit. We truly had no issues and were sad to leave! Hope we get the chance to book here again. We have cherished memories from this trip!

Great Cabin and Great property managers

The cabin is basically new! Very nice plenty of space and very close to stores if you need to make a run. The owner and property managers are great, they did everything to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable!!! Highly recommend!! The cell service is very challenging in the area but there is a cellular range extender the host has in place that gives you the ability to make a call and send some text messages but no streaming on your phone except music service. Great weekend get away spot!

The cabin was beautiful and we all fall in love with the place. Seeing we didn't get there till four I didn't see anything wrong, but the next morning with the sun shining in you could see the dust everywhere even the cobwebs at the bottom of the stairs. Nothing had been clean so I cleaned the bathrooms. When I wiped off the patio furniture thinking it was just leafs there was a pepsi bottle with a cigar in it tucked in the cushions. 100% the place hadn't been cleaned I was going to call the host so he could do something about it, He had been so helpful and 100% would have done something but we was only there for four days and only had three days left we decided not to bother and we all said we would rent it again. As I said it's beautiful.

I'm a little perplexed with your review. We have NEVER rented a cabin that was not cleaned. Furthermore we have an impeccable reputation for EXTREMELY clean cabins. And, in addition, we live here on-site and would have been there in 10 minutes to resolve the situation had you called. You simply can not make these accusations after the fact when you made NO attempt to report it during your stay. VERY odd!

Covidcation

We were unfortunately not able to stay so to Covid hospitalization. It was unclear when getting insurance that there was an additional rider for Covid. My 40 th birthday trip was ruined and I’m out all the money. So upsetting.

I'm very sorry. Insurance is offered through VRBO and we have absolutely nothing to do with that. We simply can not afford to have cabins set empty if our customers get sick shortly before their arrival. We did try our best to re-rent the cabin, in which case we would have provided a refund.

House was exactly as described. Close to town of Logan but far enough out to feel secluded. House was nice ly furnished and comfortable. Nice back deck. Our group was able to relax there and felt like we were in a tree house. Beds were comfortable.

Fall getaway

We had a great time at Rose’s retreat. The cabin was fabulous. The kitchen was well supplied. We had a small glitch with tech. We did not receive the code for entry prior to us checking in and had to call property owner for access which they were more than happy to help. All in all, it was an experience we would not hesitate to repeat. Very serene atmosphere.

Could bearly stand to leave.

House was clean and everything was new and in great condition. Gorgeous wood walls and hand made wood furniture. Amenities throughout. Especially enjoyed the serene setting and the relaxing hot tub. Highly recommend staying here!
