Private In-Law Suite in a quiet house with a private entrance and driveway. Enjoy peace and quiet along the bayou in Northwest Houston. This cozy two-bedroom is well-appointed and situated in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Boasting secured private access to the bayou trails and feature's a patio, fire pit, pergola, multiple gardens, and water features.. This comfy and inviting suite sits nestled off the banks of Vogle Creek.

Miles of walking and jogging trails await you just out the secured back gate. Whether you'd like a leisurely romantic walk or a private and uninterrupted jog, Vogle Creek offers you an array of birds and wildlife, which are sure to please the eye and soothe the soul. A beverage of your choosing around our patio fireplace is another relaxing feature that will help turn your stay into warm, wonderful, memories you will enjoy for a lifetime. This suite offers a private entrance and a private drive for secure and easy parking.

The space includes ample counter space, a Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffee Maker, Electric Skillet, and dinnerware is included. There are no cooktops or ovens. Coffee and teas along with condiments are provided free of charge. Soap, Shampoo, and Conditioner are also included. The suite has internet, TV, and Bluetooth-accessible outdoor speakers on the patio.

We strive to make our guests feel like they are the only people here on the Bayou, and that they truly are welcome. We are available at any time should the need arise, but our guest's privacy is paramount.

We are pleased to offer before-arrival pick-up services, such as floral, wine, beverage, firewood, or specialty food items for a nominal fee. Don't hesitate to get in touch with us so we may help you make your time here as special and stress-free as possible. I really loved the place. Quiet for the city, quaint, and lovely space. Enjoyed the decor, the back yard, fire pit, and gazebo. Was easy to invite friends as well.

We had a wonderful experience staying there! We didn’t get in until very late after a baseball game and they still greeted us when we got there, very sweet and helpful couple. The yard was enclosed with was perfect for the kids to run around and play. We had a great time and felt very safe and welcomed staying there.

Lovely place but one issues

The part of the house that is the vacation rental is nicely decorated and looks just like the photos. The owners are very kind and quick to respond to questions. They were very nice to the youngest in our group. BUT if you have asthma or are allergic to cigarette smoke, please be cautious. From the moment we stepped out of the car we could smell smoke, but thought it was the designated areas as stated in the information. BUT the 2nd hand smoke in the house is huge. We had to leave in the middle of the night. I did not see the mention of smoke in any reviews or I would not have booked it. Also, now our rental car smells like smoke, and I will most likely eat that cost. So not that I would not recommend to stay here, just beware of the cigarette smoke.

Place was clean and very nice. Love the outside environmentespecially at night. It does not have a kitchen and it is a guess house behind the main house which is where the owner lives. The owners are very nice and helpful.

Great location.

Nice location. Great communication. We hosted a watch party, we got a bit warm with 15 people in the main room but survived. Courtyard is a nice outdoor space and the green space beyond the fence makes for a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend and will use again if the need arises.

Excellent place to stay!

This property is beautiful & convenient for a couple of friends or for a family stay..maybe even a solo trip! The host, Margret is very easy going and hospitable. The home was spotless and really cozy and has a large back yard with multiple Sitting areas. I would definitely book again!

Excellent stay with fantastic hosts

My teenage boots and I came in for a concert and our stay couldn’t have been better. We were greeted by our wonderful host and given a lay of the land. We had a slight issue with the electric because of a storm threatening to come and hosts made sure we had ample lighting in the event the power went completely out. When we come back to Houston, I will definitely make sure to book here again.

Quiet and Clean

We checked in later than expected due to not knowing where to go on the property, my call was never answered but a nice lady there eventually came outside when I knocked on the owner's front door.Check in process was easy, everything was clean.Hot water in the shower appeared to not wowork so that was cold but everything else was great and peaceful.

I wouldn’t stay here if I were you, terrible experience.

The smoke smell made us leave… we arrived at 8:30 pm to be greeted by the hosts. We tried using our access code but the Vrbo door lock wouldn’t open. The host had to use their code to open it. We were greeted with a strong smoke smell that we tried to deal with by opening the windows and doors. It was somewhat okay until the AC turned on at 11:50 pm before we had gone to bed. It began circulating the smoke smell from the host side of the house. It made my party gag and leave the building. We had to go book a motel at 12:20 in the MORNING and the host was unwilling to work a compromise. They said since it was within 7 days of booking I would receive no refund due to their cancellation policy even though the VRBO became uninhabitable to breathe. Our party had irritated lungs and throats and continued to smell the smoke even the next evening as we were driving home. The only nice things I can say about it: the place was physically clean, the yard was nice, and if you heavily smoke yourself you may have a better time.

The property was perfect for our needs. We had a work get together for our team. We work remote and have never met in person. The backyard and patio were perfect. The only issue we had was the smell of smoke. We opened windows to sleep at night. The owners were so helpful with our needs and offered help with everything. They were the best.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The property sits above Vogel Creek, with private access to the creek and trails. It has multiple gardens and fountains, along with an outdoor swing, bar area, firepit, pergola, and large patio with two 10x20 covered patio areas. Unfortunately, the unit has had cigarettes smoked in it which is not allowed, so there is a slight smoke smell, which most guests do seem to mind. However, if you are hypersensitive to cigarette smoke, you might want to consider another property.
