overall, very good

The home was extremely clean and well equipped. It had a beautiful view from the deck. A peaceful location. The hostess was nice. We overall very much enjoyed our stay. My only complaint is that it took over two weeks to receive our security deposit back.

A wonderful place to stay close for our son's wedding

This was the perfect place for us to stay for our son's wedding at Holman Ranch. It was inviting, clean, comfortable, quiet, and had great views. We want to come again for a relaxing weekend in Carmel Valley. Our host responded quickly to all our questions prior to our stay and the welcome basket was a lovely treat! Thanks for adding to the perfect weekend.

Wonderful getaway in the beautiful hills of Carmel Valley

This house is in a great location and only 2 miles from “downtown” Carmel Valley Village. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views from the balcony or inside the house. Great area to take a vigorous and gorgeous morning walk! The wind through the pine trees is so relaxing and the star gazing at night was incredible. Kitchen was well appointed if you choose to stay in and cook. Many wonderful tasting rooms nearby to enjoy in the downtown area and some decent restaurants as well. More dining options available in Carmel-by-the-Sea about 25 minutes away. This house was very comfortably sized for 4 adults. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Stay

I rarely write reviews, but this property greatly exceeded our expectations. Very clean, well maintained and organized. Peaceful location with wonderful views. The hot tub was amazing. The house had absolutely everything we needed, and many nice small touches that I have not experienced before in a rental home. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing place and location

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Christine's vacation rental and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience. The house itself was warm and inviting, with all the amenities one could need. However, what really stood out was the breathtaking view from the garden. It was simply stunning. The location of the house was also perfect, nestled between the valley and the ocean. It offered easy access to both, making it a great spot for those looking to explore the area. Christine was incredibly kind and responsive, making the entire process a breeze. Overall, I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a cozy and well-equipped home with a spectacular view. I know I will definitely be returning in the future!

Great view

Nice house, everything available in the house including Bath robes to use for the hottub, clean and functional hottub very close to carmel valley village. Very comfortable for 5 people, extra 2 people can sleep in the cottage which is very comfortable but no bathroom there.

Karma in the Carmel Valley

My two night stay at the property was phenomenal. The actual property was even better than the on-line listing description. If someone wants the ultimate Carmel Valley experience this is the property. The owners have put together a relaxing experience away from the hustle and bustle of Carmel-By-the-Sea. The house has four large bedrooms, spacious kitchen, guest house, hot tub, and multiple outdoor locations. I plan to regularly stay at this well-appointed property. The night sky high up in Carmel Valley is priceless.

Fantastic location and welcoming home away from home - what's not to love?

My wife and two grown children thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay in this warm and inviting home. Located just a couple minutes outside Carmel Valley, it was the perfect launch point for checking out Carmel Valley, Carmel, Point Lobos or even Big Sur locations. The size and flow of the interior was perfect for us. A well equipped, tastefully updated and roomy kitchen easily supported any and all meals we prepared there. It opens up into the living and dining areas nicely so that everyone in those areas continues to be part of the community. An office area off the kitchen is enclosed, but with glass windows and doors, so someone can even work in there but not feel sequestered from the group. Of course if they want more privacy, they can opt to move to one of the 3 bedrooms in the house or go all they way out to the 4th, detached bedroom next to the outdoor hot tub or work/read/drink/relax one of multiple deck or patio locations outside. The beautiful, expansive valley view from the deck is fabulous and really lets you experience the 'Carmel Valley' vibe. The owners of the place were also very responsive to our questions and we were welcomed with a nice little gift box when we arrived. In short, if you're considering staying up in this area and could use the more than 2 bedrooms, this is a fantastic option.

Spacious and Serene

We took a chance on a relatively long stay (10 days) and we were not sorry! We loved the expansive deck with comfortable chaises and outdoor dining area; the fully equipped spacious chef's kitchen, the hot tub under the trees but with views over the valley; the sunny exposure and the quiet. Perfectly clean, with simple, serviceable furnishings and decor. The house is secluded yet 5 minutes away from Carmel Valley Village, with several very good restaurants and wine tasting rooms. The location is great for exploring the stunning natural setting in Carmel Valley as well as: Carmel-by-the-Sea, Big Sur, Monterey, and Aroyo Seco inland. We had a great time!
