Great location that’s very convenient for a beach trip. The house itself leaves much to be desired, but if you’re there to enjoy the beach and not spend time inside then this is the perfect place.

The cottage was a perfect fit for us. It was close to the beach, spacious, and clean. As stated in other reviews the bunk beds are located in a room with an exterior door. Parking was not a problem. We parked next to the house on the road without problems.

Great property, just over the dunes from the beach, with easy boardwalk access. Beautiful, well decorated, well stocked home. Very comfortable, and convenient to everything. We will definitely visit again.

Overall good

Overall it was a good experience. The only issue we had is the bunkbed room had an outside access door, we didnt feel comfortable letting our little ones stay in there so the older kids stayed in the living roome.. but it was clean and the kids emjoyed the trip.

Awesome getaway

We came to St. Augustine to celebrate my graduation. The location of this home couldn’t be more perfect. My mom, who has never stayed at a VRBO house was skeptical, but loved the space, cleanliness, and furnishings. Everyone had their own space, was steps to the beach, and enjoyed the peace and quiet. We would absolutely come back!

Getaway with Friends

We enjoyed our stay at this cute cottage right on the beach. All was clean and the kitchen had all we needed. There were even beach towels and beach chairs to use. The sunrise views are gorgeous! We enjoyed walks on the beach, games, reading, and eating at nearby local restaurants. The only downside was the AC system ran constantly and the air in the house was somewhat humid. Also, the sheets on the beds were hot (Jersey) and the main bath fan was very noisy. These didn’t stop our fun though. The cottage has a nice large living and dining area to congregate. We hope to be back!

Perfect Location

I can’t say anything bad about this place. The proximity to the beach was a game changer and the inside of the house is beautiful, spacious, clean, and comfortable. I would recommend to anyone and we will surely consider coming back in the future.

Family visit with dear friends

We traveled from up north with our elderly mother and aunt so they could visit with a lifelong friend from Jacksonville who no longer travels. The cottage is quaint and comfortable, in a great location. We loved the family room space, very comfortable furniture for lounging and visiting. beds very nice/comfortable. Kitchen met our needs, dined in for breakfast or carryout. we recommend this cottage. Pictures on display are accurate. Only request are beach chairs, for a beach house. Yet rental is across the street and this was not a typical beach trip so we only rented for one day ($50 for 3 hours/2 chairs). It is clearly communicated, which is helpful. We would return! :)

Fun Family Vacation

Great location for beach access with kids. Feel safe for the older ones to go back and forth from house alone and it's an extremely short walk. The only downfall was lack of privacy the home provides. There's a shared yard - absolutely no worries, but the addition of a privacy fence would make guests feel like they have their own areas. There are 3 units. This one is directly beside the dead end of a public access road that's consistently used but not overwhelming and everyone was friendly. Great area for families - shops, ice cream and donut shop, and restaurants just a short walk. Beaches aren't over crowded.

Seashell cottage

This was a great family vacation unit, plenty of common spaces to hang out. It was also very convenient to the beach, very close to a short walkway over the dunes to the beach. Our 2 &5 year old guests had no problem with this walk.

Perfect for our family!

Great location with easy beach access for aging parents! And no driving on the beach in this section was wonderful. Spacious accommodations with various rooms to spread out (2 porches) plus a large yard/outdoor space. This property suited our needs perfectly! With 2 aging parents, everything on the ground floor was a must. Excellent parking arrangements and surprisingly quiet for being next to beach access. We even had parking for our 14 foot Jon boat out front that we took out in the Salt Run along Anastasia State Park. Would definitely stay here again! 😃

Perfect Beach House

Access to the beach was right out our back yard. Had our own path even. We went up and down the beach and what’s right out from the house is as good as anywhere. House was well appointed and spacious. There’s a grill and outdoor shower to the side of the house. Only real issue is the grass is completely fried so there isn’t a way to enjoy the backyard. Really the backyard is the beach though!

Loved our stay in St Augustine Beach!

The cottage was perfect for our family! Walked back & forth to the beach with ease & felt like we had our very own walkway! Would love to be able to sit in house & see the water but I understand the importance of the dunes. Maybe a rooftop porch in the future? This house was equipped with absolutely everything we needed!

Wonderful

We really enjoyed the sea shell cottage, it is so close to the beach and had everything our family needed to enjoy our visit to St. Augustine. The cottage was clean and stocked with towels and linens. We will definitely be rebooking!
