5 stars for best owner/communication

The home was very cute, clean, and cozy. There were a couple of things that came up and we communicated with the owners via text and they were able to accommodate us right away. We were very happy and made our stay that much more fun. We would definitely come back here just because the hosts were very respectful and accommodating. Thank you!

Our stay was amazing and the house was perfect for what we needed it for. Just a weekend getaway with family, full of food and relaxation to celebrate my moms 71st birthday. The host was awesome friendly and speedy with text responses. The 2 minor inconveniences where that is was listed as a 4 bedroom with 3 bedrooms but plenty places to sleep so it wasent a big deal at all and the hot tub wasn't in the best condition on arrival. It was half full and a little dirty witch I understand to be expected after a busy season. we had the ok to fill it and was atleast able to use it for a night so we're all happy. Thank you so much for letting us stay. We had a great time!

wonderful!

This was a wonderful place to stay! Just a few minute walk to the beach. Loved sitting out on the deck and listen to the ocean. Very quiet and peaceful. We will be back next year!

Wonderful property! We rode out the storm in comfort!

This is a lovely vacation home with a beautiful view! We look forward to returning again when Ocean Shores isn't experiencing gale force winds and rain! But we happily curled up in front of the cozy fireplace and watched the storm rage.

Girls trip!

Wonderful property close to the beach. Perfect for our rather spontaneous girls getaway! I’m sure it’s even better in the summer! The dogs loved the deck and watching the deer. Dabiri checked in and made sure all was well and answered a question very quickly. We will definitely stay again!!

Beautiful place

It's a lovely house with a great view. The reason for 4 overall is a combination of price, and the hot tub was not cleaned prior to our stay. However the owners were super great about getting someone out to clean the hot tub. I was surprised that they sent someone out same day! Very cool of them ❤️

Wonderful escape!

Love the location of this property in the newer part of Ocean Shores, and easy walk to the beach. Not the main beach where there are thousands of people, this beach is lovely and you can see Westport across the bay and even some ships. The home is set up well with a separate room and bath downstairs and the primary and another bedroom upstairs, with views abounding and the sounds of the ocean. This accommodated our family well. We took our small dog and he felt right at home. Nicely equipped kitchen, and surprised to find an Instapot! We loved our stay, and will definitely be back.

Overload trash can

We enjoy the staying at the place and it looks newly remodeled but minor things need to look over. Upstairs around the fire place trim is about 3.5 inches or so detached from the fire place. I think it could done better by cleaning and organizing inside of garage and that is where I found the full trash can with some of meals from probably last rentals and it didn’t look good at all. You know when I try to open for trash all that smell of food stuff wasn’t pleasant. When we got to place dryer had things in and also dishes washer had just about all the dishes. Anyhow we read the instructions understood some of things. Overall it was very nice. If I may recommend, may consider putting some blinds for left and right side special right side of residence someone in there on wheels chair were looking at us for a longtime but no issues. Understands that ocean and view but privacy is important to some rentals like ourselves. Thank you much

Hi David, Thank you for your comments. We recall making sure the garage was arranged and will look into that asap. We brought in the trash cans because of the winds that would toss them on the ground which attracts animals. If we have a guest right before the next guest, the trash is placed in the trash can while we wait for trash pickup day. We will ensure it is tightly sealed. Regarding the window blinds, we do get some guests that love the openness and others who prefer blinds. Based on your response, we have decided to put up blinds now to provide privacy. Lovely!

This home was beautiful and thoughtfully furnished. An enjoyable stay. Unfortunately, the beds in the master and downstairs bedroom were not queens, per the listing, but rather full size. I saw a queen mattress and apparent broken murphy bed in a box type furniture in the garage, indicating a crisis. The host confirmed this was the case after the fact. In our case, full size made for sleepless nights by some family members. It would have been nice to have had a heads up ahead of time so we could better strategize (like maybe bring a queen air mattress for those that needed the extra space). Aside from that issue, I was impressed by the responsiveness of the host. Because I was new to VRBO, I was nervous about getting checkin info 1 day prior. The Host was responsive and gracious in accommodating my questions and assuaging my apprehensions. We found a couple of minor things that were not working and brought them to the attention of the owner. We were able to work around them, and it sounds like the host had plans to correct right away. I recommend those that have a crawling baby to bring a baby gate for the top of the stairs. The beach was sparsely populated & virtually across the street, but I recommend crossing the street, walking to the beach entrance by the marina camping area (100 yards) to avoid the possessive Snuggler's Cove owner. All in all, it was a very enjoyable stay and we made the best of the bed situation.

Thank you for the detailed response, Kimberly. We found out that the bed frames in the master bedroom was broken and ordered a replacement but found out the replacement was full. We are waiting for the queen bed delivery for the master. Thank you again.

Lovely home

We had a great stay in this lovely home! The owner was very attentive to our needs and when we notice we were short blankets, they brought them right away. I will definitely stay here again. The view of the ocean was an added bonus.

Perfect beach getaway

This place was exactly what was expected. We went to ocean shores for a family vacation. If you are looking for a quiet sleepy town and looking to just walk the beach hit the hot tub and relax this is your place. Great communication! Maybe a more cozy bed in one of the rooms and keep in mind one bedroom is down stair the rest is upstairs. Which was totally fine just a little difficult for my mom who has knee problems. All in all amazing clean and cozy!

Great getaway for family and friends

We enjoyed our stay in this fun house with great views and a convenient location near the beach. The home had all the amenities we needed and even an ample list of streaming services on hand. The host was easy to reach and quick to respond to questions too.
