Adorable Beach Bungalow ONE BLOCK from the Gulf HEATED Pool available Oct-May!

This adorable beach house is perfectly located across the street from Little Lagoon and a block to the beach. A couple miles west of The Hangout, it is close to the action, but far enough away to get some quiet relaxation in too. Large balcony to enjoy the sunrise and huge covered deck overlooking the private pool for the sunset. Great places to enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktail. All new premium king size beds. TVs in each bedroom. Beach chairs, umbrellas, beach cart, toys are provided.

Nice House

The size of the house was just right for the 4 of us. Very close to the beaches. Pool was great. The shower in the master bedroom is pretty small. If your big & tall it can be challenging. But overall a very nice place. If you have any problems the owner answers pretty quickly.

Wonderful beach vacation!

We had a great stay at Li’l Dragonfly! The house was clean and just as shown in the photos. The pool was great, and the beach closet had everything we could want to take to the beach with us - a wagon, floats, chairs, umbrella, and even a cooler backpack! The walk to the beach was quick and easy. We love coming to Gulf Shores, and this house was perfect for our family of four!

From the moment we booked to now, The lil Dragonfly met or expectations and Jennifer was an exceptional host, responsive & helpful. Great notes and it is a little on the smaller side but I didn’t book early enough and the pool and the cleanliness is our main priority and so close to the beach !! Beautiful and clean and the pool is such a great place to stay cool when taking beach breaks. The walk to the beach is so easy from here and the beach was not overly crowded and we found all the locals so nice and helpful. So many wonderful places to eat and to indulge in your favorite ice cream and candy shops. Definitely plan on coming back.No joke the sand is everywhere, so bring socks or slippers.

Perfect Beach House

We stayed for a week as a family of five with kids ages 10,8, and 5 and the house was a great fit! We paid to heat the pool everyday and the kids definitely made use of it! They have plenty of pool toys, beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, towels, etc. it was so nice not to have to pack those things! The neighborhood is quiet and felt very safe for my early morning walks for coffee (the closest coffee place is about 1.5 miles FYI). Overall, a great stay with sincere and personable hosts!

Perfect House

My family and I had an amazing week at this wonderful home. The location was great and as advertised, a short easy walk to the beach. We could let our teen daughters walk back and forth alone without concern. I think the biggest perk to this house is they provide EVERYTHING you need for the beach. No need to pack and bring anything for the beach, it’s already there which for a family of six made my life so much easier. My older girls and wife enjoyed the bicycles on a daily basis. The only thing I can suggest is you need to bring a bike for anyone under 10 as these bikes were to big for my 9 year old. Even though beach towels are provided I would bring some of your own so you’re not having to do laundry all the time. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend this place to anyone I know.

Great Beach Stay

Fantastic visit to Gulf Shores. Just a quick walk to the beach, and all of the equipment is provided - wagons, bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and sand toys for the kids. The house, pool, and furniture were all in fantastic shape, with comfortable beds, and TV's in every room. The highlight was the heated pool after each day at the beach (the gulf is chilly in March). Communication with Jennifer and Scott couldn't have been better - we reached out a couple of times and were always able to connect quickly to have our questions answered. The house is far enough away from the main areas so we didn't have much traffic, but we were only 5-10 minutes away from everything. We will definitely be rebooking the next time we visit.

This is a perfect house for our small family. Had everything that needed to go to the beach including chairs, umbrella, sand wagon, sand, toys and cooler! The pool was great. We even stayed home from the beach a couple days just to hang out in the pool. It’s a great location to the beach with beach access walking distance. Everything worked flawlessly. We’ll definitely stay here again

Dreamy Dragonfly

My family of 5 couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay at Lil’ Dragonfly! First, our host, Jennifer, was top-knotch. She communicated very well and was more than kind and accommodating in every way possible. She treated me like a friend and I feel blessed to have rented from such a genuine person. As for the beach house, it is the most adorable, peaceful lil beach home. If you want cozy, comfortable, and clean, Lil Dragonfly is for you! Our family loved eating outdoor on the beautifully decorated patio. Our three kids enjoyed dipping into the pool, especially at night! We’ve stayed at the big condos in gulf shores; while it is convenient to stay directly on the beach, you cannot beat the tranquility of staying at Lil Dragonfly. It was a very short walk to the beach and totally worth the privacy to stay in a beach house versus overcrowded condo. As for the inside of the home, it is more than charming with all the beach colors and accessories. With the open floor plan and high ceilings it felt very spacious. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped for dining in to save money. With a little welcome bag of popcorn and candy, Jennifer added the extra touches to offer a family friendly, down-home gulf shores experience. We cannot wait to return to Lil Dragonfly because it felt like home.

First family vacation with our 2 year old.

The beach chairs, cart, umbrella, wagon, toys and floats were so great to have since we flew. They had a great amount of sand toys for our little one. The pool also was great to have if we didn't feel up to making the trip to the beach again.

Great place!

This was a perfect location for a family beach vaca. We were a quick walk to the beach and even had our own private pool for the afternoons! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook the seafood we picked up at the market. We took daily bike rides and grilled in the evenings. Loved it!

Lovely Beach Getaway

If you are looking for a great place to stay, look no further. For my wife and I and our friends it was perfect. It has everything we wanted. It is very clean. That is always important to us. It is very well stocked too so things like beach chairs and bicycles we dont have to haul with us from home. You will love the heated pool. It is amazing, especially in March. And Gulf Shores is great as well. There is much to see and do. There's a small restaurant/ bar within walking distance and market for essentials, a short drive for groceries, gas, boat and jet ski rentals or just about anything. I reccomend Blalock Seafood for cooking yourself or just up in Orange Beach is Louisiana Lagniappe, very fine dining if you feel like getting a little dressed up and treating yourself. If you want to just enjoy the beach , these are really the prettiest beaches in the Gulf. Oh, and don't forget the zoo. We had fun there too. Carlene and Jeff Blon

Loved it!

We always enjoy a Gulf Shores and this is one place we will definitely stay at again. Very thing was perfect! Short walk to the beach, convenient to shopping and restaurants. Jennifer was very responsive to emails when I had questions.

Lil Dragonfly is located in a low density residential area of Gulf Shores! You can walk to the beach within 3 minutes, and you will find much more room to stretch out than other fuller areas! We have the perfect little market, ice cream and seafood shop just down the street, and an The Beach House Kitchen Restaurant as well! The Hangout is just a couple miles away so getting closer to the action is super easy too!
