You'll love this location- tucked away in the trees, yet only steps from the best Banner Elk has to offer. The views are stunning from this 2 bedroom, open-floor plan upstairs unit that overlooks quaint downtown Banner Elk below and the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains beyond. We hope that the brand new full kitchen (no dishwasher), laundry room and en suite baths will be everything you're looking for, and more.

A five minute walk down the mountain and you'll be in the middle of the Main Street shopping and dining district. Three minutes more and you've arrived at Tate Evans Park the perfect spot for a stroll to the stream, playtime in the field or on the playground or to attend one of the many outdoor concerts. It is perfectly situated between Beech and Sugar mountains and only 30 minutes to Boone.

Gorgeous views! (Nearly 180 degrees). We enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets. Quiet neighborhood overlooking downtown Banner Elk. Well appointed home, with everything we needed.

We had a great stay here. The host was very responsive to questions. The place was bright and comfortable, with lots of windows and amazing views. It is fully equipped with amenities and has easy parking. Very conveniently located a short distance from the center of town.

What a beautiful town! We enjoyed our time at the Blue Elk! Super comfortable beds & couch! If I could make one request it would be more comfortable outdoor seating… other than that no complaints!

Clean, comfortable and a lovely view

A very clean and well maintained property with a lovely view. The proximity to Main Street is great but it is a very steep walk back. Parking and access road is a little tricky, but ok once you get used to it. Great communication from the owner and a lovely place to stay in Banner Elk.

Incredible Views and Convenience

The property was perfect for our needs as 2 adults wanting to walk to nearby restaurants. The views of Sugar Mountain and Grandfather Mountain were spectacular. Communication with the owners was excellent. For us, the property is highly recommended.

Mountain haven experience

Could not have expected more comfort and convenience for the money. Great views of the mountains and the village directly below the property. Tastefully decorated without any clutter. Even the bed linens and towels were just a little nicer than expected. We went on two mountain trail hikes that were just short distance away with several more to choose from. We hope to be back soon.

Location, location, location!

Our family loved this home! It was perfect for our long weekend to explore the area and do some hiking at Grandfather Mountain. There were too many local restaurants in Banner Elk to try them all, but we enjoyed all three places we went to. The home is small, but the views are HUGE! And the natural light, high ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows made it feel like we had more than enough room. We didn’t cook in the home, but it seemed well-stocked with anything we could’ve needed. The hosts were quick to respond when I requested dining and hiking recommendations, and when we ran into a WiFi snag the first night (our mistake, not the hosts’), they sent a message with assistance within minutes. We will definitely stay at this home again the next time we’re in the area. 100% recommend!

Such a great place!

We had the best time and absolutely loved this precious house. It’s right in the middle of banner elk and so close to multiple restaurants, also right in between beech mountain and sugar mountain. Kyle and Ashley were so helpful with recommendations and always responded so quickly. We for sure want to come back! Couldn’t have asked for a better host!

We were very, very pleased with the unit. Great location, terrific communication with owners (very responsive and over-the-top helpful with information regarding the area/amenities), unit is updated and very cozy with beautiful mountain views. Great experience, highly recommend!
