Adorable home w/ huge back yard- minutes from Belews Lake. Amazing Hidden Gem

Look no further. Minutes from Belews Lake, our beautifully decorated cottage welcomes you to rejuvenate and refresh. We offer a cozy, country stay close to the Carolina Marina, wedding venues, DanRiver rafting, quaint wineries and other recreational experiences all within a short drive.

**Your rental proceeds supports our non profit 501 c3, so thank you for picking our home over investor vacation rentals. Our desire is to make your stay as comfy as possible, so please reach out with any questions or ways we can help.

**We offer a fully stocked kitchen with serving pieces that go above and beyond a typical rental (since events occur in the additional barn we have everything to throw a great party.)

**With three (or four) bedrooms, we've maximized the indoor living space with four queen beds and a twin daybed in the fourth bedroom that doubles as family room bedroom. . ****Due to severe allergies, this is a non smoking and no pets allowed property. Please do not book if either are needed amenities. $500 fine will be added for deep cleaning.
**A big back yard and huge deck offers plenty of space for lawn games and gatherings, plus we have outdoor tables, comfy seating areas with sofas and chairs, as well as an outdoor fire pit.

*Additional large gathering space (pictures shown) is available with donation and is a perfect spot if you want to host a family reunion, company picnic, shower etc. All proceeds support local non-profit community outreaches and it helps further our mission.

**Washer and dryer are available in a storage section of our unfinished/storage basement but only for those staying four or more evenings. *Outdoor security camera is placed down driveway.

The rooms and beds were comfortably. It was nice to have the TV room seperate. We really appreciated how well stocked thw kitchen was ( a lot better than the last place we stayed). Pretty much anything you may want ia there. The host is Amazing! Reached out to check on us a couple of times. Very thoughtful. Beautiful place.

Great place to stay. It was just a couple minutes away from our friends wedding venue. The house felt like home and had everything we needed. We saw some wildlife while visiting as well. We will definitely stay there again if in the area.

Loved the privacy & the host was fantastic

Host was VERY responsive and accommodating which was greatly appreciated. The home was very spacious and had everything we needed for our week long stay. Location was perfect for what we needed, and had a lovely private yard that was quiet/peaceful. Loved that the owners use the money for a local non-profit. Would highly recommend.

Niece's Wedding weekend at Bella Collina Mansion

The house was nicely appointed. Excellent location and proximity to wedding venue. We were able to go to the venue in the morning to help decorate, come back to shower/change and return for late afternoon wedding. Thank you for your hospitality. Highly recommend this property.

The home exceeded our expectations. The home was large enough for my family, and was stocked with any necessity imaginable. More Than Expected!

My 17 yr old ga had track national in Greensboro we traveled from NJ to also visit HIGH POINT wedn-sat. We arrived 1am to a ver sweet and very spacious cottage. Just as pictured!!! Everything was special about this place including the host’ The peace and quiet was wonderful. The beds and pillows were heaven. We were 25-30 mins from everything we needed- so we got to see some of the area. I did wish there was a tub in the master, no big deal tho. The shower was fine. Thank God the ac was exc!!!! We’d stay again and being family. Just wonderful!!!

Wedding Week Tranquility

This beautiful cottage served all of our needs the week of our daughter’s wedding at The Longhouse in Stokesdale, but most of all it was a place of peace and tranquility where we could enjoy some quiet time with the bride and maid of honor (our daughters). A True Gem

I booked this cottage for a weekend get away to celebrate my grandson's 10th birthday. I was traveling with my family including two grandchildren. The home was exceptionally clean and well stocked. We honestly didn't have to leave the house except for food. I loved this home. There are so many inspirational displays throughout the house that I loved. The beds are very comfortable and there is nothing lacking in comfort needs.

GREAT VALUE! Clean, comfy, cozy!

We thoroughly enjoyed our short 3 day stay. Easily space for 7 and no one will feel cramped. Very nice little touches. Even though this was a short stay, this cottage had everything I look for in a vacation home, plus cute little perks here and there! Jennifer has excellent communication, she is very helpful and responsive. Bi-Rite grocery, three miles down the road is GREAT. They have everything. Home has a great outdoor space. Bring your choice of mosquito repellent and sit outside and enjoy the space. Would definitely stay again.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The Becoming Cottage is a hub for my non profit ministry and your rental proceeds help us offset the mounting expenses as we reach out to the community by offering a safe place of respite and welcome. Our hope is that as you leave, you will feel refreshed and renewed as you watch the sun set, listen to the geese and frogs or just relax on the outdoor sofas while roasting some marshmallows on the fire pit.

The outside space is still in process as our family is slowly fixing up the property, so enjoy the country feel. :)

While it's only a few minutes drive to the lake, our backyard gives a wooded, rustic, peaceful feel if you choose to relax at your home away from home.
