We had the best time staying at this cozy mountain cabin. Well stocked and efficiently laid out, it made for that perfection destination for a holiday ski weekend. We hope to revisit again in future!

We came for a cousins weekend to enjoy the foliage. View from the deck was breath-taking! Home was beautiful and very comfortable, with no details left out! We'd come back again!

VERMONT SKI HAUS

The property was lovely, as pictured. Location perfect. Supplies more than sufficient. Arrival was somewhat difficult, as the parking area was icy and untreated. As well the plow had pushed the snow up to the entry stairs, where it had frozen. Had to shovel/chop our way in. Someone did come to sand/salt the parking area the next day.Once in, we were very happy with the house and amenities. Only issue was a leak that developed in the bathroom mid-week when it rained. Also the damper was difficult to operate due to a cotter pin issue, but we eventually figured it out. We did bring these two issues to William's attention, and he offered a refund for our troubles (and diagnoses of the problems with the leak and damper).Overall, we enjoyed and will return if still able to ski next season.

Family friendly

This house was exactly as it reads. The views are great, location to both mountains and downtown Manchester are so easy. The best was they are ready for any age group of people! The activities in the house were not lacking, making traveling with kids super easy! The price was affordable and We can’t wait to go back.

Excellent Stay

We loved staying at this property. Extremely clean, great location, and was perfect space for two families. Location was ideal for us, only a few short minutes to Manchester, Bromley, et al. Would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing environment

Totally enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable & cozy. The views from the deck were beautiful. The house is located in the perfect spot. Somewhat secluded but close enough to the main road & town. Loved it!

Great vacation

The property was exactly as advertised. The view from the deck was fanastic. There was a babbling brook that we could see from the deck and easily walk down to enjoy. There was an ample amount of seating on the deck. We utilized the barbecue grill, propane fire pit and the fire pit in the side yard. We also enjoyed listening to the extensive record collection at the house. We were lucky to have perfect weather while we were there. It was a great vacation all around.

The Perfect Ski Weekend Stay

This home 100% delivered! The pictures were very accurate, the home was clean and every inch of space was thought through on how it could be used most efficiently. We were able to be all together but then could send the kids off into another room to play games, watch TV or play video games. We could easily get to the center of Town and it was a quick ride to Stratton and Bromley. I'm so glad we booked in August as this is a gem that I'm sure is often sought after.

Fall getaway

Really enjoyed your property. The view off the deck was fantastic. The interior of the home was just right, everything fit and was functional. The whole group loved the place and we all want to come back next year at the same time.

Rental for our 50th!

The location, views and cleanliness were great. Many games, fire pits and classic old albums are nice additions. The only issue we had was the tap water has a high mineral or metal content, so we relied on bottled water for drinking.

Lovely Vermont Cottage

- welcoming host, very good communication - very good use of a smalls space to accommodate a group - the rooms and beds are comfortable and the bathroom renovations are lovely as described in the listing - the collection of board games was terrific - thank-you! - the cottage is old but has been updated. And well maintained.

Accurate listing, comfortable stay

Its always great when the actual house perfectly matches the listing. Five adults comfortably enjoyed a long weekend in the Manchester area in March 2023. House had everything we needed to cook, lounge, and enjoy our time (including shovels for over a foot of snow during our stay!)

Great Ski House!

This house is picturesque. From the moment you pull up and all thru the inside you can't help but notice the attention to detail. This place easily sets a mood. My extended family (7 adults/4 kids) came up for a long ski weekend and we fit comfortably. We went to Stratton (20 mins away) one day and Bromley (5 mins away) the next. The fireplace and record player were running all weekend. Everything we needed for meals, showers, sleeping, laundry, and entertaining the kids were all there. The view from the deck in the morning was beautiful. Vermont is magical and the house shows it. My only problem was that now I have to redecorate my home because my wife wants ours to look the same. Thank you so much for letting us stay. We would come back next year for sure.

Beautiful home with amazing views

The house was clean and well maintained. The owners were prompt to respond with any questions. Hanging out on the deck was amazing. The views are absolutely incredible. Feels like a peaceful mountain retreat while at the same time being very close and convenient to downtown Manchester. Best of both worlds.

Fall Getaway

We loved the house. Very much enjoyed the deck and the views!! We even got the outside fire pit going. Loved it! The home is warm and cozy, as advertised. The home decor is outstanding. Love your taste! We found a lot of good hiking and small towns. The foliage is at its peak right now and was absolutely beautiful. We talked about coming back next year, but for three nights, not two. It goes by too fast! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise!

Fall Visit

We had a group of six adults and we were all very comfortable in the cabin. It was clean, nicely decorated and as described on line. The views were beautiful! It was in a quiet area and yet not too far from Manchester Center. We would absolutely stay again.

Great location!

Perfect spot for our first time visiting Vermont! The view from the back deck is amazing and so beautiful and the house is so cute and cozy! The beds are super comfy and we loved that there was a record player with records and a lot of fun games. Nearby towns are super quaint with great restaurants and awesome hiking spots. The green mountains being in the backyard was the best! It’s definitely a beautiful spot
