Relaxing in the hot tub, grilling on the patio, roasting s'mores around the fire pit, cooking a feast in the beautifully renovated kitchen, strolling to the beach to surf or take in the sunset -- experience the San Diego dream in a Carlsbad beach house. We have beach chairs, surfboards, body boards, a portable BBQ, ice chests and beach towels for your use. Tamarack Beach, one of the premier surf breaks in San Diego, is just a 10 minute walk. Enjoy our foosball table and weight bench in our furnished garage. Our house is west of the 5 freeway and just a mile from all the shops and restaurants of Carlsbad village and a 10 minute drive to Lego Land, the Outlet Mall, and Flower Fields.

A lovely home that hits all of the marks. Comfortable bed, quiet neighborhood, nice linens, great kitchen and yard. The host was very responsive to inquiries. Close to Carlsbad Village and beaches. Close to freeways.

This probably was a winner! Very comfortable- in person even cozier than photos could convey. Loved the location for beach and village access. Owner was very responsive when we had questions- we wish we had more nights to stay.

Great accommodations

Damon was a wonderful host. We had to relocate during water restoration in our home. Damon was willing to work with me on the dates, even as I was trying to get insurance approval. The location is perfect for the beach or walking to the village for dinner. We had a wonderful stay.

Wow! This was such a magical, cozy, and inviting house. The cleanliness was impeccable and they provided everything you expect and more. Truly a home away from home. The walk to the beach was very pleasant and the surrounding area has everything you need. We appreciate the dedication it takes to host a home like this one. Certainly one of the best rentals we have stayed at! We will keep it on our favorite list for the future. Can’t wait to visit again.

My family of 3 adults and 3 kids enjoyed our 4 night stay at this Carlsbad VRBO. The location was convenient to the Beach and the village. The kids enjoyed being able to run around in the fenced back yard, the game room, and especially the hot tub. Damon was an attentive host and available by phone. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Amazing Carlsbad house

We had such a great long weekend. We were there with my parents and my two toddlers to explore San Diego a bit. The house had everything we could have ever needed and was so clean. Great location - so close to the beach and Carlsbad Village. And we loved the hot tub and grill! Thank you again Damon for a great time.

Great house with easy walk to beach

Really nice mid century modern. Great location. Kitchen had every amenity. Nice hot tub. And Damon was super helpful and easy to get a hold of if we had any questions.

Family vacation

My family had a wonderful time at this beach house. The backyard was relaxing and had enough room for kids to play as well as a nice bbq. The neighborhood is quiet, walking distance to the beach, garage was stocked with beach chairs, boards, and umbrella. Beds were comfortable too! Wish we could have stayed longer :)

Super well-thought out home

Clean and well-stocked with everything you could possibly need. Great kitchen, comfy beds. Close to everything we wanted to do: walking, golf, good restaurants nearby. Only suggestion: better lighting in living room to read in the evening...

Amazing property

We celebrated our son’s 18th birthday here with 5 of his close friends. The home is amazing and the hosts made everything so easy. We could not have felt more welcome. Our son and his friends loved the bunk room! This is a fantastic rental that oozes hospitality!

Summer Get Away

I stayed at the home for five days with my three grandchildren and was impressed on how well stocked the home was. The backyard was big enough for them to play in and although rarely home during the day, we enjoyed the open space and decor. I would definitely rent again.

Great home with renovated kitchen, convenient location

We stayed at this home for 8 days and had a good time. The kitchen is renovated, there is lots of equipment they let you use. The bedrooms and bathrooms have not been updated.

Amazing get away

We loved our stay at this home. The house was even roomier than we expected from the photos. We spent a lot of time in the amazing backyard, grilling, at the fire pit and in the hot tub. The location was great with an easy trip to the beach or into the village. There was everything you could need for a day at the beach and the home was incredibly well stocked. We will definitely be back again.

Perfect beach house for families

Great place with a beautiful backyard/outdoor space and easy 10 minute walk to the beach. It ended up being just a tad too far to carry beach things with kids in tow, so we ended up driving, whi h was not a big deal at all. The house had plenty of space for 8 of us, beach chairs and towels, firepit outside and a a great kitchen/dining space. There's even a piano that was a nice treat to be able play while on vacation. Great vacation spot!

Cute, cozy, artsy and great for families

This house is adorable with lots of unique artistic touches, a great layout even for our larger family and in an excellent location. My kids love being close to the beach, we love being close to the Village, and the house has everything we need and then some. The foosball table and surfboards in the garage are icing on the cake! The owners are excellent at communicating and very kind and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Great experience!

We had a great stay here!! Two couples and a handful of kids, we had plenty of room to relax and the house had everything we needed to feel like we were at home. Easy walk to the beach, and they provided everything you needed for a perfect beach day. The kitchen was fully stocked, as well as the bathrooms. The hot tub and fire pit were two of our family favorites! Communication with Damon was great as well, I had a few questions and was responded to within minutes. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

Fun Fun Fun

We have rented many places through VRBO, and I have to say this was probably our favorite. We had 4 adults and 3 children under 12 for an early Thanksgiving with family. This home feels like a comfortable family home, it had funky fun decor, great location with an easy walk to the beach, lots of games, a huge table for family gathering, great backyard for relaxing and super comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped with a great layout. The kids especially loved the foosball table in the garage.

Such a great spot for traveling with kids!

This is a wonderful house for a fun family vacation. The location is fantastic: walk or bike to the beach, walk or bike to restaurants in the Village, and quick access to the freeway for trips to Legoland, Birch Aquarium, SD Zoo, etc. The kitchen is well-equipped, the owners are kind and responsive to requests, and everything worked well during our entire extended stay. My husband and I especially loved the backyard with built in bbq, fire pit, hot tub and outdoor shower. My kids (ages 3-14) loved movie nights cozied up on the couch by the fireplace, the fun assortment of games available (some of which we had never seen), and the foosball table in the garage. Our dog loved being able to play fetch in the backyard with the kids. We highly recommend this adorable home for families visiting Carlsbad.

Soccer tournament getaway

We had the most wonderful weekend getaway here. The perfect place to wrap up the summer. The kids had a soccer tournament in Del Mar and decided to make a trip of it and this house was just perfect. We were there for 4 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The house was spotless and completely stocked with linen, towels and every possible kitchen utensil. We brought grandma, 2 kids and dog and had plenty of space. The backyard is beautiful with a gas grill, great fire pit, hot tub and large table that could seat us all for al fresco dining. The garage had everything we could possibly need for the beach and entertaining the kids, bikes, boogie boards, chairs, foosball table, washer and dryer. We enjoyed walks down to the beach ~ 10 minutes and leisure strolls to Carlsbad Village ~ 20 min walk. The town is super bike friendly and a great way to explore the town. The Surf Sports Park was a 15 minute drive which was perfect. Damon was fantastic! The best host, quickly responding to questions and super flexible. We hope we can make it down for the winter break! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
