I didn’t realize that this was a historic house when I booked it. It was so cool staying in a place that is over 300 years old. The location is great, I loved Marblehead! We planned a trip to Salem, but wanted some respite from the madness. It only took about 15 mins to drive there. We also took a “ferry”, which was really just a boat, but that was really cool and easier than parking. My child and I both had a difficult time sleeping at night. The bed was very comfortable, but there was just a weird energy at night. Probably due to the age of the property. I had an issue with my code not working, but they resolved it very quickly. Very cute place and was prey for my son and me!

A cozy little studio apartment just outside Salem for a wonderful weekend getaway. Cute and coastal, and a perfect way to start autumn!We were in constant contact with the owner who was delightful to converse with. Highly recommend staying here for a small couples getaway!

Great place to stay for a couples weekend in Marblehead! My Wife and I stayed here for a long weekend exploring Salem. Rachel’s place was extremely good for us. The bed is extra comfortable, the air conditioning was a huge relief for our 80 degree days spent exploring, and having a parking spot to come home to every night was a come up of epic proportions! Rachel stayed in touch after booking, checking in and out without being overbearing or demanding. If you stay here, take a stroll down to the Blue Canoe for a great breakfast and coffee

Incredible experience! Perfect location in walking distance of everything in Marblehead and a short drive to Salem and surrounding beaches in Lynn and Revere. Highly helpful and communicative host, clean bathroom and main living area. Strongly recommend!

I was beyond impressed with my stay here in Marblehead! As a solo traveler, I felt safe in this Vrbo property. Everything was beyond clean, access was easy, and having a dedicated parking spot was amazing. It was the perfect place to stay!

Great Stay!

Great location in historic downtown Marblehead. Check-in and checkout was easy and straight forward. Having a reserved parking spot in downtown Marblehead is a big plus as parking can sometimes be challenge. Perfect little (studio sized) space for 1 person or a couple!

A Charming, Memorable Stay

Our room and bath were charming and quaint room located in historic downtown with the sounds of Abbott Hall bells. While we did not need parking nor will anyone once you get to this walkable location, a parking space is a nice benefit; especially is a town known for parking space wars. Our hosts were attentive, easy to communicate with, and the check-in/out was easy. We will be back for another memorable stay!

Anniversary Weekend in Marblehead

Definitely consider staying at this spot if you’re in this area!! We were huge fans of the beautiful historic structure of this small town. Our stay was extremely cozy, very clean, and overall very welcoming. Parking is very convenient with nearby shops/cafes in walking distance. Our host, Rachel, was so kind in making sure we had all the information to make checking in, checking out, and amenities very easy for access. Couldn’t recommend more!! <3

Cute Little Crash Pad

This cute little crash pad served its purpose while I was visiting Salem and Boston. Size wise, think a larger hotel space with a nice little kitchen. Very historic home which is charming, of course. Walking distance to great restaurants, coffee, boutiques, yoga, little markets, juice and smoothies. And the town is enchanting. Easy in and out to Salem. I spent one day walking through the neighborhoods along the coast line which was great. I would stay here again if in the area.

We love to enjoy Gloucester beaches, or adventure to local coffeeshops and breweries. When I'm not managing airbnbs I am working for a local nonprofit mentoring middle and high school students or chasing around our growing baby! We love enjoying short term rentals as guests and getting to experience new places in unique homes. Some of our favorites have been in Sarasota, Santa Barbara, and Montreal. Set in-between the heart of old town and down town Marblehead in a unique 1742 Colonial home, this freshly painted studio with large bathroom and tiled shower boasts beautiful wide pine floors with four extra large windows allowing for an abundance of natural light in the main living space. The kitchen area has new stainless steel appliances with built in microwave. Adjacent to the kitchen is a beautiful original non-working fireplace along with a large built in closet to the right. The assigned parking space just steps to the unit adds to the convenience of Old Town living.
