Las carreras de veleros y las vistas del puerto que cambian constantemente están listas para disfrutarlas desde su terraza privada o mientras se relaja frente a la chimenea en la sala de estar. Te invitamos a ser nuestro huésped en esta encantadora joya antigua en el corazón del distrito histórico.
Este espacioso apartamento está lleno de auténticos detalles y encanto del siglo XVIII, conservando las vigas originales y la carpintería de madera de su época colonial, al tiempo que ofrece las mejores comodidades modernas. El apartamento cuenta con calefacción y aire acondicionado específicos para su comodidad individual. El gran salón, amueblado tiene una chimenea de gas para las noches frías, y televisor de pantalla plana de 55 pulgadas. Se incluyen cable Fios, múltiples canales premium y Wifi. Lavar la pantalla de sol en el baño de estilo spa. La cocina completa y la lavadora / secadora en el apartamento facilitan su estadía.

Such a great place. So cozy, beautiful view, and a great neighborhood that was very unique and historical. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. The place had everything we needed. Would love to stay there again.

We had a wonderful long weekend staying at this beautiful and historic home. Our hosts were so kind and informative about places to eat and visit. Salem is a short drive away but we enjoyed the town of Marblehead even more.

We enjoyed staying in a home in the historic district, the view of the harbor, short walk to town center of shops, food and historic sites. The car stayed parked, as we walked to all the places we wanted to go. Although they were not needed, the owners live nearby and are very accessible. A very enjoyable stay!

Very convenient location in Marblehead. We did a lot of walking and enjoyed the view from the spacious deck. Hosts gave us a lot of advice on what to do as well.

We drove from Ontario Canada - it was raining cats and dogs most of our trip. Cheryl and David offered up their garage since it was raining and we had such a rough trip. This was above and beyond our expectations. The place is clean and comfy. The place is close to town and restaurants and we were able to walk there. We Ubered to Salem because parking can be a bit tricky. Loved how the place had a deck where we ate breakfast and enjoyed the atmosphere. This place is so charming and welcoming.

Girls Weekend

Beautiful spot and everything you need is walkable so we parked and never moved the car until we left! The house was comfortable and cool despite the hot weather. Beds were comfy and the rain shower was a nice treat. The deck with harbor views is a wonderful place to sit and chat and just enjoy the scenery. The hosts were great communicators and made everything super easy. I would 100% come back.

Fantastic location and gracious hosts

We spent the 4th of July weekend in Marblehead with our two toddlers, and loved how this house allowed us to walk everywhere we wanted to go in old town. The hosts live in the unit upstairs, and were very gracious to us during our stay. They even held a parking space for us, which was incredibly helpful. We will be booking again. Thanks!!

We LOVED it!

I stayed here with a friend for a girl's weekend and we loved it! The apartment has charm and character, but was comfortable and had modern amenities and updates. The covered porch was a standhout amenity for us, and we used it every day.The town is picturesque and walkable, the only struggle was finding parking nearby, but we got lucky more than we didn't. Easy drive to Salem and Boston. Would definitely stay again!

Mommy & Daughter Trip

The state was absolutely five stars! Cheryl is the sweetest person I've met in a very long time. I explained to her it was my first mommy daughter trip with my daughter who is 14 years old and I was a little nervous about being alone. She made me feel completely comfortable and safe and reassured me that I was in a beautiful neighborhood where all the neighbors take care of each other. She provided me a wonderful tour guide of things to see and things to do. Her energy was absolutely of a mama bear I couldn't be more grateful. Not to mention the view was absolutely amazing and the home was warm and cozy. I will absolutely stay here again when I have the opportunity to go back! If I can give this review 10 Stars!! And the best thing was the group hug we got from Cheryl! She is just a lovely lovely lovely lady! And we absolutely adored her!

Cozy and comfortable!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful harbor town within walking distance to many quaint shops and restaurants. Check in was a breeze. The apartment was very clean, and communication with the hosts was fast. Highly recommend Driftwood for breakfast (cash only).

Clean and cozy in a great neighborhood!

Great space in a charming neighborhood. Our hosts were gracious answering questions and making recommendations. Enjoyed our morning coffee and evenings on the deck. The fireplace in the sitting room was a treat and the bathroom with large walk in shower was great. Loved it!

Return to Marblehead

We are Marblehead natives returning for a few days for 60th high school reunion. We particularly enjoyed being downtown in historical area with its narrow streets and challenging parking. Very close to harbor and good restaurants. For very informal and local hangout recommend Mattie’s . Great walking along Front St. The Stockers

This place has everything

A beautifully maintained 1700’s spot with exposed original beams and yet all the modern amenities you’ll need. In a great location, walk to local shops and restaurants and a short drive to Salem. Cheryl and David are attentive, responsive, awesome hosts. We had no problem finding a close place to park on the street. Highly recommend!!!

Incredible location

When I say that we fell in love with the neighborhood…I’m not lying. Everything is a walk away. We walked to the coffee house, book store, grocery store, and three different restaurants for dinner. It’s a historic neighborhood with houses built very long ago. This property is perfect for couples or small families. It has everything you need to include washer, dryer, dishwasher, drip coffee maker, and all the kitchen utensils. The view of the harbor is gorgeous and about a three minute walk away. I would not recommend this property for disabled individuals just because of the stairs. We had zero issues parking on the street, but just be aware that you may have to park down the street. We visited in the fall (Halloween), and it was absolutely beautiful. I almost don’t want to leave a good review so this place stays a secret but I can’t. Marblehead should be a main attraction instead of an outside suburb to visit. 💙

We are natives of Massachusetts and New York - sports team allegiance not withstanding- and lived for nearly 30 years in the D.C. metro region. We chose to move to Marblehead to enjoy all that this lovely town has to offer. It is our pleasure to welcome guests visiting the area.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Our house was originally constructed in 1763 to serve as the home and shop for a well know cabinet maker in his day. Later, in 1795, the home was purchased by a sea captain who provided for his family during the heyday of Marblehead's cod fishing industry.

We purchased the home with the intent to maintain this piece of American history and to share it with visitors to the area. We embarked on a series of renovations, starting with the apartment, and continue to make improvements to the home so that it continues to shine for another 250+ years.

The apartment is a few short steps up from the street and is a fully private unit. We reside in rest of the house above and are on hand to answer any questions.
It has been completely updated and features all the modern amenities to make your stay comfortable while retaining the distinctive charm of its colonial roots.
From our location, you can walk everywhere in Marblehead and we are a short drive to Salem, Rockport and Gloucester. Boston is accessible via car, commuter train, seasonal ferry (Salem) or Metro (Revere).
