Beautiful sunrises & sunsets on the Back Bay. This home is a vacationers paradise. You can see Canada from the living room and watch the freighters. Boat launch 1000 ft away and we are currently working on putting in a boat dock. ATV and Snowmobile trail just feet away. A little slice of Paradise. Enjoy

Whitefish Bay Retreat

Very spacious home with a great kitchen. Beds were comfortable and the home had everything you needed. Spectacular view of Whitefish Bay!!!

Relaxing vacation

Very satisfied with our choice of this property. Roomy, clean and comfortable inside and spacious outdoor areas. Beautiful location on the water, no real beach access due to a sort of shoreline seawall, but the Brimley State Park beaches were within a mile, also good restaurants nearby. We had a front row seat for the 4th of July parade.

The house had fantastic views from the main living space. Overall the house needs a deep clean outside and a dehumidifier inside, it was musty smelling.

A lovely base camp for our eastern / central UP adventures. The smoke from Canada made for some lovely sunsets. We saw crows, hawks, and eagle, and watched a family of otters swim by. We used the back deck to watch the freighters. Easy access to Brimley state park and Iroquois lighthouse for swimming. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed for meals and family time. We arrived during a heat wave and used the portable AC very effectively but the latter half of the week, it was open windows and enjoying the lake breeze.

Weekend Away

This place was in a great location for us to stay and meet up with other family members that were in town/live nearby. The place was clean and the view was excellent. :)

Great location

We had a fun stay at this property. Location was great as we could walk to a small fishing pier and also to a great local restaurant. The layout of the house worked well for us and the beds were very comfortable. I would have given 5 stars but the house and the outside grill could be kept a little cleaner.

Beautiful getaway

My family stayed for a week while my son attended a camp in nearby McMillian. The house was the perfect blend of modern upgrades and rustic cabin. The views were stunning and the house was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Lovely place to stay!

We enjoyed our time at this property. The owner was very flexible and helpful with recommendations for kayak rentals nearby and even offering to stock the house with produce and meats from the family farm. The house was well stocked with necessities and very comfortably furnished. Beautiful lake view for the 4th of July fireworks and bonfires. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Hangin' on the Bay

Great location, lots to do in the area, really enjoyed the fire pit and the stars were Amazing! As a photographer I got some of the best star shots ever, especially part of Ursa Major, I got the Big Dipper rising over the pine tree's, might even put this one in to print! Great Stay, Many Thanks

Great view

We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Loved that I could bring my dog. She loved running around the back yard. Especially loved the view. Watched freighters and ducks. Loved viewing the stars and the sunrise was fantastic.

Clean, comfy, GREAT view!

We all enjoyed watching barges go by headed to the soo locks & commercial fishermen coming in off of Superior into the river opening just to the right of the home! AMAZING!

Spectacular cabin - like a 5 Star hotel!

We wanted a place that was close to family where we could just relax. This exceeded all expectations! Everything had an extra special touch. The view is extraordinary - we even had Northern Lights on the first night! Beautiful deck and great for watching freighters and wildlife. The furnishings are lovely and everything feels new, yet retains that cabin feel. We had family stay with us one night with small kids and it was great for them too! We loved it and will be back.

Lovely

This house is a great place to stay. We really enjoyed the garage to load and unload since it rained a lot. The living area was so relaxing to watch for the big ships to pass to and from the locks. We had no trouble getting into the place and it was just what we needed. Had 3 adults there so the extra bathroom was appreciated. I would definitely recommend this place to stay if you are in the area.

Great Trip

We stayed here for 3 nights and really liked it. The house was plenty big enough for our family of 4. The views of the lake and the ships going by was great. Though the place is older, it has been nicely remodeled on the inside. The inside was very clean also. The outside of the property could use a little bit of attention. The location is very good for getting to the destinations in the eastern UP.

Rest and relaxation!

Beautiful location on the water. Very clean and comfortable. TV was hard to find local news stations. We don't all know how smart tvs work. Directions and programs would be helful. Just a suggestion. Loved the view from living room and deck. Saw 4 freighters in a weekend stay.

House was nice but view was amazing. House had everything we could ask for. Management was great to communicate with. Truly enjoyed watching the ships go buy. State park is close for swimming. We had a boat in tow and was easy to park. Thank you again. I will stay here in the future.

Amazing view in a dated home

The view was amazing. The home was adequetely stocked and the hosts' communication was great. The home is in need of overall updates and cleaning, inside and out. Their was no air conditioning and we stayed during a heat wave. It was uncomfortably warm with no breeze off the lake.

Comfy with a view

We loved the house and all of its charm. The view was amazing. Loved watching the freighters on their way to/from the Locks. We were there during both hot days (85) & cold (40). The ceiling fans kept the place very comfortable during the heat & the furnace kept us cozy when the weather turned. Great location with an amazing view! Convenient to gas, places to eat, groceries, and more. Host was responsive & helpful. We would love to return again!

Cozy and well equipped

We had a wonderful time. Everything was well stocked! We ate dinner there and the equipment was all there and it was nice! The view was beautiful. I worked from home 2 days and the Wi-Fi was great! Best I’ve had on vacation ever. The only one thing I can think 🤔 of that could be improved is was that we couldn’t find more trash bags. Luckily we had brought some for dirty clothes. We had a wonderful warm cozy stay at this lovely home. We will visit again thank you!
