The Overlook is a private 11 acre ranch with a large farmhouse overlooking the Wimberley valley. 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, with a wrap around porch and lap swimming pool. 15 minutes from all Wimberley attractions.

The house features a large bunk room with an entertainment center, a fully stocked kitchen and butler's pantry, incredible Texas Hill Country views, and a pickle-ball/basketball sports court!

We choose this house to gather in celebration of a big monumental birthday with friends and family. The beautiful decor, amazing view and large kitchen made it the perfect place to ALL be together comfortably. We will be back again!

The place was beautiful. I highly recommend it!

We had a great time. We travel often and have rented other ranches. This was our favorite. Ranch style with a modern twist. We loved it!

Amazing Experience

The host was super accommodating, clear and responsive! They left us a beautiful charcuterie board as a warm welcome. The whole house was gorgeous, clean and spacious - exactly as the pictures portrayed. The dogs had tons of space to run around in the giant gated yard, while we laid by the pool and sat on the porch. Everyone had a wonderful time, will definitely come again. Great for a relaxing weekend in nature.

Amazing Property!

This property is absolutely stunning - from the yard, to the view, to the rustic yet updated design, to the pool, to the decor, to the screened in porch, to the sunset, to the layout of the home and the overall vibe, it’s a winner in our book! We’ll definitely be back! We were seeking a space that was private, spacious and accommodating for my husband’s 40th and it checked all the boxes! The hosts were so thoughtful and hospitable - we cannot thank them enough! This place is a gem and worth the price!

Beautiful property close to Wimberley

Excellent place to stay in the Hill Country, close to Wimberley and many activities, year round. Home is beautiful and spacious.

Gem In the Hill Country

My large family needed a spacious place to stay and opted to find a place with a pool, laundry and views. We located this extremely well appointed home with spectacular sunrise and sunset views of the Hill Country. The house is done in a chic ranch motif and includes top notch appliances and fixtures. Standout feature for families or events is the large kitchen island, butlers pantry / 2nd cook space and oversized pantry. There were 2 dishwashers, sinks, and stoves. There is seating for days in the 2 indoor common spaces - large kitchen bar, oversized dining table, large breakfast nook and a giant couch in the den / bunk room. The beds and baths are super comfy and well stocked. The master suite is beautiful and was the envy of the other guests. There are no upstairs bathrooms for the 2 separate loft feel bedrooms on either side of the LR / Kitchen. The one ding regarding sleeping quarters is that the Bunk Room / Den combo doesn’t have shades or curtains leaving that side of the home noticeably warmer than the rest of the home given the floor to ceiling windows. The outside spaces were large and nicely outfitted with comfortable furniture which we enjoyed even in this Texas heat including the front porch which boasts an oversized dining table. The screened in porch / grill area included ample seating. The pool is comfortable if modestly sized. There is no shelter from the heat nor lighting for night swims so late evenings we’re largely spent indoors or on the front covered porch. We didn’t make our way into Wimberly except for additional groceries but the town looked really cute from what we saw on our way out.
