Come stay at this beautiful family-style cabin in a private setting and admire marvelous sunset and Broad Bay views from both sides of the home, enjoy out-of-this-world stargazing, and take advantage of your very own private sandy beach! This secluded getaway is perfect for picnics and warm-weather barbecues - you will find a convenient propane grill, a firepit, and an open deck for outside dining. There is also an outdoor shower to rinse off after spending the day at the lake.

Inside, beautiful woodwork will surely impress anyone. The first floor of this rustic gem features a large enclosed screened porch with plenty of seating, another outdoor dining area, a mini-fridge to store and keep your goodies and beverages cool, and a stereo to dine alfresco while listening to your favorite tunes. The inviting living area has been furnished with comfortable sofas and a smart TV. When mealtime comes around, surprise your beloved group with their favorite meals and recipes in the full kitchen, equipped with all major appliances needed.

THINGS TO KNOW
Full kitchen without a dishwasher.
Streaming is available using the guest's accounts.
Please bring your own wood for the firepit.
There are three kayaks, one row boat, and eight life jackets available for guest use.
No boat launching access available at the home. Use boat launch at nearby Lakefront Landing Marina. Guests can moor their boat at the home dock.
This property is managed by Vacasa New Hampshire LLC.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Dock details: 50' Dock can moor 1 boat. Use Lakefront Landing Marina boat launch, no launching of boats from home access.

Fishing Trip

Great place with perfect location. Would have liked earlier check in time and Wi-Fi was spotty at time. Still was a great place and would highly recommend it.

Great location and property. All excellent. Wish they left extra dishwasher soap. We stayed three nights but could only run it twice.

Pictures do not do it justice.

Due to work we arrived later than we would have liked but were welcomed by a gorgeous and clean house with so much waterfront. The neighbors were friendly but we still felt like we had privacy. Absolutely would recommend.

Great family vacation

This is a lovely spot. Weather was not great but it wasn’t a total washout! I’m happy if I can kayak. Good spot for fishing it seems. Some of the outdoor furniture could use some tlc. I would definitely stay here again.

Great spot!

Perfect! What a view of Broad Bay. The camp itself had a great blend of “old cottage” feel with modern amenities. Plenty of space to be inside or on a great screen porch on the water side(s) of the building. We caught a bunch of fish right from the dock and while we anticipated fishing from the kayaks but the weather didn’t cooperate (50 degree highs in June?! :)) instead we ramped up the fire pit’s heat production and enjoyed the panoramic view. Great wildlife (loons, tree swallows, woodpeckers, etc …) We didn’t love the later check-in (4 pm) on Day 1 and even though we requested to get there a little early to enjoy the beach, we were declined. Some flexibility here would be great, otherwise we had a blast and hope to get back next year.

Great location

We had a fantastic stay. The location was perfect, and we loved the screened in porch to sip our morning coffee and listening to the beautiful sounds of nature. One "inconvenience" was having to bring firewood for the firepit or fireplace. It would have been much nicer if the wood at the location (which there was a decent amount) were available for us to use, instead of having to bring wood (and get bark, dirt, splinters etc in the vehicle). We did bring wood and the firepit outside is in a fantastic location. We also had some issues with ants in the kitchen. I understand bugs happen, especially at a location in the woods, but it was a bit offputting to repeatedly see ants in the cupboards and on the counters where we were preparing food and drinks. All in all we had a great time. Very quiet, peaceful, relaxing location. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone looking to get away.

Old friends get away

We just got back from a three night stay, the place was very clean, the location is absolutely beautiful! We will definitely be back. The only problem we had was that the trash barrels were already full from the previous renters. I don’t like to complain so I waited a day or so figuring they would come empty them. No one ever showed up so eventually I had to call the number they tell you to. I spoke with them, they had me send them a picture of the full trash barrels. They said they would take care of it! We stayed two more nights and left this morning and still no one showed up to empty the trash!! Don’t let this review deter you from renting this place though. It’s absolutely beautiful and my friends and I are already talking about doing it again next year!! Thank you for letting us enjoy your place! Hopefully we’ll see you next year

Calm lake setting and beautiful views

Great location on the lake for a nice, calm setting and beautiful views. Good separation and privacy from neighboring houses. Lots of outdoor space on the property, and a nice fire pit location. Multiple open air seat and table choices - 1 table on the enclosed porch, 1 table on the outdoor deck, and a picnic table down on the sand. Kayaks, gas grill, dock on the water, and plenty of outdoor chairs. Inside of the cottage was lacking slightly in a couple aspects, but overall was nice, comfy, and cozy. There’s no proper kitchen or dining room table and chairs - but as mentioned above, multiple open air choices for when the weather is warm. We went in early October and weather was definitely chilly at times, especially at night. The heating system was a little noisy and probably not the most effective, but worked well enough, and again that wouldn’t even be a factor in the warmer weather. I’d encourage some calmer, dimmer, lighting choices for the kitchen and living room 😊 Overall we had a great stay! The setting and location are pretty awesome and we would definitely stay here again!

Exceptional Rental

The view is incredible. The place has charm and is very welcoming. You can tell it's owned by a family that has had lifetimes of memories here. The bay is shallow hundreds of feet out. We were sitting in chairs in the water near the house, wading out to our chests seemingly in the middle of the bay. We took out the kayaks, hung out on the dock and had amazing campfires every night checking out the stars. We clearly saw the International Space Station and a killer shooting star. Ample beds for a family or group of friends to stay and what a great enclosed porch. Full kitchen and dishwasher were a huge plus. Weber grill needed propane and a clean but was promptly taken care of. Definitely will be back! Nice to stay in an affordable place that's been kept original and not leveled for some McMansion and price jacked putting it out of reach for normal people looking for a nice weekend away.

great place!

We loved being right on the water, close to amenities, and having kayaks to use. House was clean and had everything needed to cook. View was terrific, and shallow water/beach would be great for families with younger kids. Close to some great hikes too. Would recommend 100%!
