Great stay. Condo was well equipped. Property is very centrally located in Waikiki. One block walk to the beach and easy driving access to freeways and the island. Secure building and parking. Parking spot was big but don’t get a rental bigger than a mid sized SUV.

Location was great. Got there in the dark so was difficult to find entrance. Condo was clean and as described.

Great for families

The location is awesome! Walking distance to Waikiki Beach and many restaurants. The condo is spacious for families. It was well-equipped with household items. The host is friendly and super responsive. Great stay for local families wanting to vacation on a different island. Be prepared that during busy times there might be a wait for the elevator.

Old building with plumbing issues & inconsistent elevator

One morning we had no water due to a main break in the water line. Later that afternoon, the water came back on then the toilets weren’t flushing! Plumbers came to work on it, came inside with their dirty boots & left a mess in the bathroom! The next day, sewage water was coming up from the shower drains in both bathrooms! The smell was horrible & so the plumbers came back again to work on it. The plumbers got the drains to flow but left more of a mess from their dirty boots & the sewage water was splashed everywhere in the bathrooms! I contacted our host & he sent someone to clean/disinfect both bathrooms. We had 3 days of inconvenience due to these issues & on top of all that, both elevators were broken for 2-3 days, leaving us no choice but to take the stairs & with my mom having arthritis in both her knees, it just added to the stress! Needless to say, we made the best of our trip but having to deal with all the issues made it difficult to stay positive! I’m hoping our host will provide some kind of compensation for all the inconveniences we had to endure!

Hi Lori, I am so sorry for all thing happened to you during your stay . I have been host for 2 years but never seen the elevator broken or water turned off . The main draining water stuck far away of the building but still causing problems in my condo. Unfortunately all things is out off my control and I hope that it's not going to happen again. I know that issues is inconvenient and difficult for you to stay but you did try to go through its , I really appreciate that . One again we are so sorry and wishing you all the best Lori !
