The Travelers Retreat Casita has all you’ll need to feel spoiled, including a Cal king bed with super soft bedding for the best nights sleep. Cook your own meals in our stocked kitchenette and full size refrigerator. The living room has a sofa that converts to a queen bed. You must request use of the sofa bed for extra guests and there is an charge per guest . Also we have 2-TV’s with wifi and a washer dryer for your convenience. It’s all in the details and you will love all the amenities too.

Fantastic stay! The casita was exactly as pictured and described. Host was very communicative! They thought of all the extra touches that made the stay even more special! Well frunished; had a fan/noise machine next to the bed, great linens and towels, air purifier, a tea kettle, parking space in the driveway, TV was on with senic calming music when I arrived, very clean, and it was the most secure I have ever felt as a single female traveler! Having them on site during my stay was reassuring and very secure. Thank you Nancy and Todd for the best VRBO rental experience I have had!

Property was super cute. Sofa bed is horrible. Although the host, husband and sweet dog were totally amazing it was weird to have them on site. Like so close….I’d also say the 2 nights was not worth the price.

My stay at the Casita is always so lovely. Ive stayed here several times while visiting my dad. The whole place is so thoughtful with personal touches. One of my favorite things to do is paint river rocks for their garden. There is a cute basket with markers and rocks greeting you at the door. It really helps me truly connect with my creativity and helps keep me grounded. I would come back in a heartbeat and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, peaceful heartwarming stay.

Every detail inside is covered at this little home. From the comfy bed, robes, towels, coffee, to all the little decorating details. And quiet neighborhood! Beautiful and serene front porch for morning coffee. We were visiting our daughter and family, to watch our granddaughter show her horse. Quick and easy access to the freeway to get down to the horse arena in wine country. We will definitely stay again to visit our family. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay! The kitchen was really well stocked, which made it easy to cook meals and feel right at home. The bed was super comfortable and gave us great nights of rest. Perfect Spot for 2 Week Trip

The space was absolutely perfect for my recent trip to the west coast. Somehow, it was even more lovely than the pictures online.Nancy and Todd (and Jojo) were lovely, and made sure that we had everything we needed, without being intrusive. I'm hoping it'll be available the next time I'm working out of my firm's CA office.

Perfect getaway!

Stayed here for a weekend with my partner and it was the perfect place! Nancy and Todd are amazing hosts and the communication was great. This casita was perfect for 2 people and had everything we needed. I loved that the kitchenette is fully equipped and the bed was super comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and it is not too far from the stores. I would definitely stay here again. 10/10! :)

Amazing VRBO!

Nancy was such a fantastic host! Her “Travelers retreat” had all the creature comforts of Home…especially the super soft bath robes in the closet. The bed was super comfortable as well as the entire casita. Nancy provides the shampoo, the conditioner, the shower gel, the laundry soap, iron, ironing board, coffee, tea, and loads of delicious snacks. What more could you ask for! We will definitely stay with Nancy & Todd again when we come visit our family!

Extremely Comfortable Casita

We have stayed here 3 times and would not hesitate to come back again. 2 adult children stayed with us this trip and the Queen sized sofa bed was grear. All of the provided linens and bedding are soft and extremely comfortable. The bedroom has a door to separate from the living space and the second bed. Nancy is so easily accessible for any questions. All of the added touches (kitchen and bathroom soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, bubble bath, dish soap, laundry soap, Keurig pods, filtered water, qtips, hair ties, razors, bath robes, hair dryer, iron etc etc. I could continue LOL) make staying here not only convenient but homey. They even have a patio set up with seating and a fire table. I really can’t say enough about the effort that has gone into this casita.

Relaxing Getaway

It was just like home, and the host provided lots of little extras, which made it even more comfortable! We also enjoyed relaxing on the front porch. I highly recommend this property!

Great Casita!

This casita is extremely well appointed. Todd and Nancy have thought of everything! There is a generous supply of coffee pods and snacks available. They have provided all basic toiletries and even easy to have forgotten items such as q-tips, hair ties and even ear plugs! The bed and linens are high quality and comfortable. They have truly furnished this place as an extension of their home. The casita is impeccably clean. We recently moved out of state and still have family in the area. The casita is very centrally located with access to multiple dining spots and close to great access. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely stay here for future visits to the area.

Hidden gem!

My sister and I were in town for my niece’s baby shower. The space was perfect for the two of us! The accommodations were very clean and inviting. You can tell that the hosts put a lot of thought into what their guests would need. The neighborhood was conveniently located and very quiet. I loved all of the labels - SUPER helpful. We have resided in Murrieta for over 30 years and have spent years improving our home and we can't wait to host our guests in our newly remodeled casita. I was raised back east where the houses were huge and had lots of wallpaper, so when I designed the casita I found the most incredible wallpaper for the bedroom. We both love outdoor activities and are very busy but, we love hanging out and watching the kids play in our neighborhood. We are excited about this new adventure hosting guests at our home.

When we moved to this area I fell in love with this location. It is tucked next to the scenic hills that are great for hiking . We love that is centrally located to the mountains for skiing and the beach and local airports that are all within an hours drive . We also love our culdesac with a very family friendly vibe.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We are centrally located to the La Airport or San Diego airport all within an hour and half .We are also 15 minute from Temecula Valleys best wineries. Murrieta also has amazing hiking trails and horseback riding too. Our downtown area has wonderful restaurants and coffee shops.
