Get lost with us in this peaceful 5 bedroom, 3 bath house situated on 10 acres . Conveniently located close to the Superior Hiking Trail and the Northshore snowmobile trail. You can enjoy the large deck overlooking the beautiful gardens where you can take in the sights and sounds of nature or relax by the fire pit on the patio. It’s a quick drive to Canal Park and downtown Duluth where you can watch the ships come in, do some shopping and dining or walk the boardwalk by the lake. Or if you’re more into relaxing stay on the property and enjoy family game night, a game of pool or a friendly game of bean bags in the yard! With plenty of room to explore this makes for a great family vacation destination or peaceful weekend getaway,

Our family had a great time staying at your property for the weekend! Conveniently close to Duluth for quick trips in to do sightseeing, shopping, etc. Loved the pool table and gaming system for the cold weekend we had. Wish the downstairs heat would have worked so those staying downstairs had a bit of a chilly stay. All and all a great stay.

House was very nice. Hosts were very responsive to our needs. The oven stopped working during our stay and they showed up with a new one before we needed it again!Unfortunately, we did need a home without scents, as several of our family have allergies. Although we discussed this with the hosts before we arrived, the house still had air fresheners in the house and the bedding had been washed with scented detergent. I'm sure this is not an issue for most people, but if you are looking for a scent-free VRBO, this home might not be for you.The house did sleep our party with room to spare although we did run out of hot water when we were all trying to get ready in the morning.VRBO is on a very quiet rural road. If you're wanting a quiet get-away, this would meet your needs. It's not too far from Duluth and we were also able to get to the North Shore easily.

Amazing home! Our family of 11 really enjoyed our stay. It’s set up perfectly for young kids to have a fun time downstairs and the adults to enjoy a nice dinner outside upstairs.

Great Home in the Woods!

This property was secluded, modern, updated, clean and had many amenities including modern appliances, a pool table, great deck with fire table, where we watched deer feeding in the woods with our morning coffee. We were a group of twelve in Duluth for our youngest daughter's graduation from UMD and we had plenty of room to spread out. It checked all the boxes for us. Our host Heather was very responsive and good with communication. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a secluded, modern property.

Excellent property and management

We really enjoyed our stay at the relaxing retreat in the woods. The property was perfect and the communication with Heather was exceptional. She even provided recommendations for activities. We really appreciated the extra touch of her adding a Christmas Tree to the property. It was such a pleasant experience.

Great Family Gathering

Lovely home secluded in the woods near Duluth, MN. Very private, spacious had lots of room to spread out. Some minor maintenance problems, however the Manager was prompt to respond.

Friends reunion

We had a wonderful time staying at this VRBO…it truly is a relaxing retreat in the woods!! We couldn’t have asked for anything better for our large group. I would definitely recommend this house as we talked about staying here for our next get together.

Great place!

Great for our group of family members. Big house on a fantastic property. Two details I would have liked to know in advance - it’s a split-level with stairs and on about 2 miles of gravel.

Anderson Awesome Adventure

This was the perfect place to celebrate and spend quality time together. We couldn’t ask for anyplace better and feel blessed to be able to include our 98 yo mother and grandmother who maneuvered the stairs beautifully and participated in all the games.

Away from home

This rental property is bit far away from actual Duluth but having big lot and surrounded by lot is trees was nice. This house has good layout and bedrooms are good size. Overall this was great property and we had great time. Only thing was concerning was there was pet hair all over floor, carpet, and bedroom blanket when we arrived.

Marathon weekend

Great property with plenty of space. Nice location between two harbors and Duluth for easy access to entertainment. Beautiful deck to enjoy outdoor space.

Beautiful property. In my opinion, first and lasting impression could be increased greatly by eliminating the overgrown weedbeds around the property. As they are not used they are an eyesore. Maintenance of the yard would also be quicker and easier without them. With that said, the home managed our party of 12 wonderfully and handled every one from 1 to 83 years old. Would definitely stay here again, even with the weed gardens!

DFL Delegates Stay

After 15+ hours on the DFL state convention floor, we were to return to our relaxing retreat in the woods. We all enjoyed our stay. I would rent again.

Very nice stay

The house was large enough to accommodate all of us comfortably. The lower level was quite chilly but after we got the fireplace working , more comfortable. Not too many wanted to use the tub in the master as we didn’t want to clean it after each person. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. Thank you!

Couples Weekend

The property is beautiful and spacious! There were 10 of us staying there and it never felt crammed. There was plenty of space for us to all lounge and hang out in the house and if it wasn’t November in Duluth, we would have absolutely enjoyed the beautiful deck space they had too. The downstairs area was perfect for playing games, and despite our crew getting a bit noisy and competitive, you couldn’t hear them in the upstairs bedrooms (big added bonus for us as we had an infant with us that went to bed early). It was so peaceful and tucked back just a bit outside of Duluth. I would definitely recommend it!

awesome large group vacation rental

Our group stayed here for pre and post wedding festivities. The home is spacious, bedrooms are large and beds are soooo comfortable! The setting is a beautiful piece of property surrounded by woods. We enjoyed our stay and would rent again!

Such a great property

We had such a lovely weekend. The beds were comfortable, and I was impressed the home slept all 9 grown adults with room to spare. The kitchen was perfect for group meals (and VERY well stocked - pressure cooker, blender, etc). We came in after some pretty gnarly storms and hosts were very responsive to our needs. 10/10 would stay again. The garden was impressive and we enjoyed some apples from the tree in the backyard. 10/10 would stay again. Thank you for hosting us!

Terrific home, but could use a deep cleaning.

It fit our needs very well. We were up for my son’s wedding and were able to fit the rest of our family and get ready for the wedding. A couple things to know: We experienced some issues with the VRBO app, I was very glad that they also gave us their regular email address so we could get info to them. The carpet downstairs needs to be cleaned. We have a 2 year old grandson that was playing down there and his socks and knees got pretty grubby. The master bathroom doesn’t have a standard shower so all of us were trying to cycle through one bathroom to get ready before the wedding. Overall the property was pretty much what we were expecting. It was pouring all weekend so we weren’t able to be outside, but the yard looked to be really nice. I also appreciated that we were able to park in the garage. It helped tremendously when we were trying to unload and load with all the rain! It was also nice to have a spare refrigerator in the garage as we provided the food for the night before and lunch the day of the wedding and we could store it there before bringing it to where it was being served. They were terrific hosts.

Beautiful property!

The property was beautiful and perfect for our weekend stay. The fridge in the kitchen didn’t keep food cold so we used the one in the garage instead. Otherwise everything was great.

This house is a great area for those who love to be outside and enjoy the beautiful things nature has to offer. The sunrise and sunset is gorgeous to watch as you sit on the deck and often you can see deer right in the yard! Since this house is located near the trails you can take a hike for miles or if cruising the ATV trail is more your thing we got that too! And with a short drive to Canal Park and downtown Duluth there is always fun to be had. You will love this property and the relaxing vibes it gives you!
