Our family had a wonderful stay at the Duluth home for our Christmas vacation! Morgan was a very responsive, kind and helpful host, and the home was set up with everything we needed. My Florida kids had their first real snow experience, and were thrilled to play in the huge yard, watch a family of deer right outside, and roast marshmallows by the fire pit. It feels very private, while still being within 20 minutes of downtown. The views and overlooks off North Shore drive are stunning. Would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay so much!!! Morgan was amazing to work with!! I would recommend everyone to choose this place!! The house is beautiful!! The peace and quiet was remarkable!! Nothing like going outside and hearing nothing but nature!! The kids enjoyed going outside and looking around and seeing the animals we don’t get to see living in town!! I give this place and Morgan a 10 out of 10!!! Thank you for your hospitality!!

Very relaxing and comfortable place to stay. The host was very easy to communicate with and helpful. We came as our bible study and were able to not only enjoy r&r but grow in our bonds. The fireplace was cozy and the kitchen was the best stocked Ive ever been in. Very quite beautiful location, we had some deer joining us one morning for breakfast. Will look to come back again and recommend to my family.

We loved this property during our weekend visit! The host was extremely communicative and made sure the process was easy and straightforward. The amenities were great and all of the outdoor areas were nice for a fall weekend up north. I didn’t personally stay in the master bedroom, but our friends who did said they found a lot of hair on the sheets. Other than that, everything was perfect! We would definitely stay again.

Plenty of beds for all of us and very easy to work with and communicate with the owner. Only suggestion would be to have staples in the kitchen (towels/rags, ziplock baggies, etc) but otherwise it was a perfect space!

This was a wonderful home for our family of seven to stay while we explored Duluth and the North Shore! There was plenty of room to spread out, and the basement was the perfect hangout area for our young adult kids. We loved the sauna, fireplace, and outdoor propane fire table. The location is secluded, yet conveniently located for driving to the many beautiful destinations such as Gooseberry Falls, Split Rock, Tettegouche, Park Point, etc. This was actually our second stay at this VRBO, and we’d love to come back again!

Morgan was great to communicate with ! She was prompt in getting back to us with any questions. We were able to check in early which was a huge help with kids aged 3mo-3yrs. The property is homey and inviting with a great deck and fire pit. Inside, there was plenty of space we could enjoy together as a family, as well as separate areas to accommodate early bedtimes and chatty night owls. I highly recommend staying here!

Aside from the big rain we had which cause a little leak downstairs, I notified the owners and they came and cleaned it up in a timely manner and was just as dry as when we had first checked in. The views were beautiful along with the big spacious yard. Last but not least was the neighbors pet bunny Bruce! Nice little fella, we fed it some carrots and celery sticks!

House is as shown in listing with exception of windows cranks that don’t work. Nearly all were inoperative and since doesn’t have A/C, kind of an issue for comfort. Additionally screens were beat up so bugs flew in. Price is right, but could use a little bit of fixing of some things. With exception of screens / windows host was great in communicating and house was well located off main hwy to north shore

We stayed here for my wedding weekend with our wedding party. I wanted a place for them to stay and not worry about lodging. There was plenty of space for us and lots of dishes for everyone. We all appreciated the numerus box fans throughout since it was a hot weekend in duluth, so those were helpful. And even though it was hot we did test out the sauna and I must say it was a hit and was nice and relaxing. And any question I had for Morgan throughout the stay she answered quickly and was very helpful! We love the stay, trips into town were a little long, but very much expected and not bad at all it just took a little extra planning on our part. I would totally recommend it for a larger group that needs a nice getaway in duluth! I also noticed how kid frendly this house is. Lots of outlet covers, built in stair gates for safety, kid plates, cups, and cutlery, and even a little playground area. While it wasnt a necessity for us. It was something that we noticed that was worth mentioning as if thats something someone reading reviews is looking for. The check in process was straightforward, we were emailed the door code information to have easy access. And there were laminated instructions for check out that made it easy to follow the morning of check out. Thank you again Morgan for having this beautiful place as a VRBO! We loved it and enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful house but hot

Listing stated air conditioning. There was a small unit in 1 bedroom. That was very deceiving and the house was very warm the whole time we were there. We never found shampoo or laundry soap and the water wasn’t filtrated. All of these should have been noted so we would have brought some. We wouldn’t have chosen this place if we knew it didn’t have true air conditioning Besides that it was a beautiful home and location and bruce the bunny was a big hit
