🐳 The Whale Song - Dog-Friendly Studio

Come explore all the Cape has to offer from the Whale Song on Minister’s Pond. This adorable studio is your affordable home base this summer for all your Cape Cod excursions. Dog-friendly and perfect for two, the cottage is centrally located in Eastham. An ideal spot – near the National Seashore, Minister’s Pond, and Arnold’s. Biking, hiking, whale-watching, and enjoying our fabulous restaurants all while having a beautiful place to relax and recharge at night.

I respect the autonomy of my guests and can easily be reached by facetime, email, text, carrier pigeon, smoke signal, or yodeling. Communication with guests is important to us.

Very central to everything. Close to Cape Cod Rail Trail (bike trail), Arnolds, Coast Guard and Nauset Light beach, Salt Pond Visitors Center, Eastham Windmill, and First Encounter beach.

Private parking and easy access to the Nauset Loop, National Seashore beaches, Cape Cod Rail Trail (bike trail), Arnold's, mini-golf and Salt Pond Visitors Center. Please follow instructions in guidebook. Do NOT use GPS!

Our Whale Song on Minister’s Pond will have you singing throughout your visit to the Cape. This adorable, clean, cozy, studio with outdoor spa shower is one dog friendly ($50 fee) and just steps away from a private beach on Minister’s Pond.

The cottage features a private patio area with a gas grill, a large yard with hammock, outdoor dining area, room for badminton, and sunny lawn for sunbathing too. The spa shower is huge with a rain shower head, as well as a handheld, with spa amenities included. Please note that the shower is an outdoor shower. There is not an indoor shower option at the Whale Song. Inside you will find a comfortable queen-sized bed, a water closet (toilet and sink room), a kitchenette for your cooking needs, and a Roku tv to watch your favorite streaming show or movie. The shared area would be the beach area of the pond where we have a fire pit, lounge chairs, and a canoe available.

The cottage is within walking distance to Arnold’s and mini-golf, the Cape Cod Rail Trail (bike path), and the Salt Pond Visitor’s Center. Bike Rentals are just around the corner and the National Seashore beach shuttle parking lot is about a mile away walking or you can just take the Nauset Loop bike trail and head directly to Nauset Light Beach itself.

beads!

• Our cleaning teams use thorough checklists, followed by sanitization and disinfection of high touch points throughout
the home. We follow CDC guidelines and use only approved EPA products for cleaning.

For Airbnb: A quick note on who you are paying for what, because lately everyone asks some version of who am I paying for what and to who. We set two things. One. The nightly rate for the home itself which we keep as fair as possible for this area. Two. The cleaning fee matches what our professional cleaning company charges to clean and reset a home this size. Those are the only amounts we control. Airbnb collects its own platform service fee for using the Airbnb site and support. Airbnb may include that platform fee in the total price you see here instead of showing it as a separate line which can make it look like it is part of what we charge. It is not. That amount goes to Airbnb. You will also see taxes as a separate line. Those taxes are required by state and local rules for this area. We do not set the tax rates, and we do not keep those funds. Airbnb calls this “fee transparency”.
