Our October visit allowed for beautiful bike riding on the Cape Cod Rail Trail (accessible from the house) and enjoying several other autumn activities. We did spend time walking on the beaches and in the surrounding neighborhoods, which was very pleasant. The hosts were available to help with a couple of items that came up - they were quick to respond.

Relaxing and so close to the beach!

This place isa true gem. Close enough to walk to the beach but quiet enough to just relax. More than enough space. Plenty of dishes and cookware. Not lacking for anything. We had a great stay and plan to rent again.

Cute cottage in a great location

The cottage had everything we needed and was a good fit for my family of 4. We really loved the location; very close to Campground Beach. My kids loved biking around the neighborhood and it was a short walk to The Landing for ice cream. We appreciated the air conditioning, laundry and dishwasher in the cottage. We had a great stay.

Sweet house/Perfect spot

Great location on Cape Cod Bay

Ideal cottage and garden located in a lovely and quiet neighborhood with lots of flowers, trees and birds. Short distance walk to the local beach and centrally located to explore Cape Cod National Park beaches and other nice places to see. We were very excited to swim everyday and to have the chance to observe many seals.

Just what we wanted

Our location was perfect to visit points of interest all over the Cape. We loved sunsets on the bay, and it’s a short trip over to the ocean to watch a sunrise. Cottage was clean, comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a stay on Cape Cod.

Great location

Loved staying here! The location was great. A couple miles to Coastgaurd Beach, a bakery, grocery store, deli, etc. Everything you could need is super close which was very convenient! The cottage was all redone and tastefully decorated with all the extra amenities you could need. Restaurants were close by and Camground Beach on the bay side was just a walk away, where the sunsets were amazing. Carl was easy to communicate with and made the whole process run smoothly. I would definitely come back to stay here!

Quiet getaway

Great location to just get away. My wife and I loved it. The place is well organized and very clean. Had no issues with communication with the owner. And it’s in a great location if you want to be far enough from the heavily congested areas but not a chore to drive to stuff also. Would stay again

Another great stay at Bay Cottages

This was my second year renting Carl's property and this time a friend rented the other side which was great since we could have our own space but also spend time together easily. The house has everything you need for a week at the beach. It was a hot week so the air conditioning was a huge plus. We love the proximity to the bay beach, the national seashore and nearby restaurants. Thanks for another great stay!

Thoughtful Hosts

I was so shocked with what was available to us at the house. Each room had a fan, we almost went and bought one, as no one ever has fans. But when we opened the closets, there was a fan! There were plenty of extra blankets in each closet. The hosts had a collapsible cooler, a cart with beach toys, beach towels, beach chairs galore, and anything you could think of for a day at the beach. The house had games and books and fun stuff for staying in. The house had a washer and dryer, dishwasher, everything! My only complaint would be the lighting in the bedroom. Maybe the bulbs were dying, but it was almost laughable. We truly enjoyed our stay and loved Cape Cod.

Perfect for our Family of four!

Our family had a wonderful week at Carl's cottage. The house is perfect for a family of 4. The kitchen is very well appointed and the furnishings and beach decor are lovely. The best part is the short walk to beach access. We spent each night on the quiet stretch of Bay Beach for sunset. Our girls loved the critter hunting at the beach and the calm waters. There is a small general store within walking distance for ice cream, coffee, and morning muffins (also is a beer/wine store :))Carl was easily accessible via phone or text with questions. Would definitely stay again!

Since we are "off season" people, we are happy to share this piece of vacation paradise with our clients.

Location, location, location. Close enough to be an easy walk to the bay beach, but far enough to still be a great value for families looking for an affordable vacation. Two available units provide families with the option of a larger property, while maintaining a little extra privacy.
