The Compass Loft Studio near TSU with EV Charger

The Compass Loft is a newly refurbished, UPSTAIRS garage apartment with a vintage/travel theme that reflects the spirit of our other Compass listings. We are 3 blocks from TSU and close to the Downtown Square. The Compass Loft has it's own private entrance. The only time our paths might cross are in the driveway or at the base of the stairs if we are on our way to the garage. It's a Studio style floor plan and it has a private, vintage bathroom. The kitchenette has a sink, Keurig, and a mini fridge to hold your leftovers. We offer a Level 2, 210 EV Charger.

Apartamento completo estilo vintage.

Apartamento bien decorado y con todo lo necesario. No utilizamos cocina pero estaba equipada. Perfecto para visitar Tarleton State University. Zona tranquila.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Compass Loft. This is our second stay and are grateful to have found this location. The online description and pictures are spot on and the hosts are very easy to work with and are very welcoming. The host’s communication is very descriptive and helpful. We’ll always look to see if this property is available before booking anywhere else.

This was the cutest loft! The owner thought of everything and added personal touches for us specifically. Everything was nice and clean. Instructions were clear and communication was excellent. We will use this owner again for this loft or her other properties!

The Compass Loft was as described and even cuter than the pictures. Cold A/C, comfortable bedding, hot water, private, quiet, adequate parking, and the hosts left notes to make our visit personal - super nice touch. We are already looking to see when we can go back!

Lofty Expectations

Excellent, responsive communication with the property owner. The loft was exactly as pictured and described. It was a lovely stay and we enjoyed all the extra amenities (water, coffee and snacks.) Very clean, close to campus and so quaint. We will definitely stay again when we’re in Stephenville!

Great place to just relax...

Being up at tree level made it very relaxing to sit at the nice little table with a beverage and some music and look out the window, which I did while my wife and daughter were out shopping. Conveniently close to our daughter's dorm. Only thing I didn't like was no access to its own outdoor space. Would stay again.

Very nice, private rental

This was a lovely loft. The pictures actually don't do it justice! It's really quite large, and maintains most of its vintage features. It was also sufficiently private; sometimes its weird staying at VRBO's because you feel like a guest at a stranger's house lol. The loft is separate from the main house, with no overlap, so you don't feel awkwardly observed. The owners were extremely nice and helpful, and provided plenty of amenities. I really had a nice stay while in town for a conference. Thank you!

We are a Texas guy and a Louisiana gal who have lived in the area for a little over 31 years. Scott has been on staff at our church for 32 years. We love to meet our guests but value your privacy. We live in the main part of the house. The only time our paths might cross are at the base of the stairs if we are headed to the garage or in the driveway. If you need any recommendations about food, places to see or places to worship, we would be glad to answer any questions you may have or give suggestions.

The Compass Loft is honestly our favorite space in the house. We love the openness and all the light that steams in. We lived in the Loft during the 7 months that we were renovating the main part of the house. We have lived in this neighborhood since 2018 and have enjoyed getting to know our neighbors.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The views out of the windows are mostly sky and trees. Our little squirrel friend, Scratt, will sometimes climb the tree out side the window and take a peek. It's a peaceful place to be.
We are located 63 miles southwest of Ft. Worth in the center of Stephenville, Texas. We are also 12 miles from Dublin, 20 miles from Hico and 29 miles to Granbury all of which have museums, food and shopping. We are 3 blocks from Tarleton State University, 2.1 miles from Twisted J Live, 0.7 miles form the town square, 8.2 miles from the Tarleton State Rodeo Team facility, 0.8 miles to the TSU Stadium,10 miles from Dove Creek Ranch and 0.9 miles from the City Park.
