Every year 8 to 10 Wauns get to gather and go on a fishing trip at Grand Lake. This house was amazing and we had no complants about the house.

Beautiful home in the back of the cove, perfect for swimming or using the amenities provided by the house. The neighbors were very friendly and there’s tons to do in the area! It was a great stay I would recommend to anyone!

Absolutely lovely stay. This was the best stocked VRBO we’ve stayed at with plenty of towels, utensils, matching furniture, matching sheets, fishing rods, paddle board, kayak, lily pad float, all available at the property. It’s a very premium and new feeling building and we enjoyed playing on the adjacent golf course and docking a boat for lake activities. Would stay again

Amazing House, perfect location

Very beautiful house really good location very quiet and friendly neighborhood, boat dock worked really good with my 25 foot boat. We definitely will book this again.

We had a great time! The house was perfect for 3 families traveling with kids. The kids had their own space downstairs with the bunk room, game room and TV, while the adults enjoyed the upstairs patio overlooking the lake. The dock was great. Kids loved the kayaks and SUP. There is also access to an awesome golf cart. The golf cart paths go all the way from Port Duncan to Shangri-La.

Beautiful Oasis

Amazing location on Monkey Island centrally located between all the fun that Island has to offer! As well as clean, spacious, and cozy. The owners were very helpful and made the whole process easy! Highly recommend

Overall Good Stay

Just enjoyed hanging out with our adult kids for a few days. Property as advertised generally in good shape. Two of the bathrooms are really small, but we managed. Only issue encountered during the visit was promptly remedied by the owner. Overall a good experience.

Great host!

We had fantastic communication from our host. Unfortunately due to a storm and a big tree that damaged the house prior to our stay we were not able to enjoy this beautiful property. We do hope to in the future though.

Owners thought of everything!!

We had 11 people. Aged 14-76. It’s a great house. Owners have put great care into their vacation home and made sure about everything a vacationer may need is available. It was a very comfortable stay. Thank you Brandon and family.

Nice Getaway Lake Home

Very nice home that accommodated a large group for a weekend getaway. Quiet & Peaceful area for walking and within minutes to a marina for boat and jet ski rentals. The water was low and since the home sits at the end of a culvert cove, we could not bring a boat within the area of the home's dock. It might be that way all the time since it is at the very point of the cove, so plan ahead, you may want to rent a slip. Wonderful hosts that are very quick to respond and helpful with suggestions! Thanks for a great stay!

Wonky - but we still had fun!

Deck was lovely to enjoy morning coffee. Dock is in shallow water at back of cove. Kitchen was wonky- dishwasher needs attention. Pictures make it look better than it is. Lower level game room has short ceilings- clearly meant for kids- our 6’7” guest could only stand upright in one small portion - the ceiling was sloped. Regardless, our family had a good time together at the lake!!

Fantastic

We frequent Grand Lake often. Of the many homes we’ve rented, this one ranks among the top. The location is great, just up the peninsula with easy water or road access to shangri La. Tucked in the back of the cove, the dock gives plenty of protection from the rough main channel waters (if you’re taking a boat). Our favorite part was the large windows over looking the cove and beautiful trees (and amazing patio). Our son LOVED downstairs, the games (mini golf, darts, and foosball. The mini old school Nintendo was a major plus! Host, Brandon, was very responsive. Check in was simple. We had no issues but I’m confident had we, Brandon would have been on top of it. We will BE BACK!

Brandon’s lake house was spectacular! The house is large and had plenty of rooms and bathrooms for our family. The house is clean, and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable! When my family arrived the owner’s had placed a bottle of wine with a thank you card and a board game for our family to enjoy! A very personable and thoughtful touch! The back patio has beautiful views of the lake and Shangri-La golf course. The back patio is perfect for grilling and sitting by the fire pit making s’mores with your family! The dock is wonderful to fish and swim off of. The local marina is in the next cove! The owners have truly thought of everything to make your stay perfect! Brandon, the owner, is very kind and responsive! We will definitely be back! Thank you, Brandon, for a wonderful stay!
