Welcome to our cabin - Nine Mile View! Sitting perched on a Wears Valley mountainside, this log cabin getaway offers breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains and beyond! Whether looking for privacy & relaxation or games, action & adventure, this spacious 3-level log cabin has something for everyone in your extended family or large group of friends.

This gorgeous 4 bedroom 3 bathroom cabin is 3 levels and will sleep 12. With only 6 steps to enter this beautiful all-wood interior cabin, be amazed by all the comforts of home when you step inside. On the main level, you will find the living room with a couch, 2 gliders, and a plush chair. Watch your favorite show on the flat-screen TV while enjoying the wood-burning fireplace on those cold wintry nights. Adjacent to the living room, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and dining for 6. Also, located on this level is the Master King Bedroom with a flat-screen TV and a separate newly renovated bathroom with a walk-in shower only.

In the upper loft area, you will have a Queen size sleeper sofa and a super fun twin over twin bunk bed with an additional twin trundle. Just off the loft area is a Queen size bedroom with a flat-screen TV and a separate bathroom with a tub/shower combination!

As you travel downstairs you will find a lovely game room with 2 high top round tables and 2 bar-style chairs for each and for those who love to play a friendly game of pool, there is a pool table for your enjoyment. You will find another King size bedroom with a flat-screen TV and separate half bath on this level as well. The laundry room with the washer and dryer is located on this level for your convenience.

As soon as you step over the threshold, you’ll experience the charm of this authentic yet modern log cabin. The open living room features comfortable furnishings, cathedral ceilings, and large picture windows to let in plenty of natural light. The 50" HDTV and stone gas fireplace are just what a cozy movie night needs!!

Just off the living room, you’ll find the spacious kitchen, complete with everything you need to prepare tasty meals for your group. Modern, stainless steel appliances are at your disposal, including a refrigerator and freezer, an electric 4-burner stovetop, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a toaster.

Enjoy breakfast or a quick snack at the breakfast bar or gather around the kitchen table for your meals. Morning coffee and tea are made easy with a separate nook that boasts a coffee pot, Keurig machine, and all the little extras like filters and coffee pods.

This property did not live up to the description online. It was a cute property with enough beds but the basement wasn’t heated. There weren’t enough batteries to use the tv remotes. Many burnt out lightbulbs. The kitchen is too small for two different coffee makers. But the tackiest item was the urinal used as a vase in the dining room. And the cabin needs a GOOD cleaning. However there was plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and bakeware. We enjoyed spending the weekend together but we were very disappointed in the cabin rental.

Great weekend getaway

This property was great. It was my husband and I and our three kids and my parents and we all fit very well in this house. My mother is handicap and uses a wheelchair and we found the main floor bathroom and bedroom outfitted well for her. It was also possible for her to climb the stairs leading up to the house because of the handrails they have put in place. This place was very clean and the provisions inside the house were more than enough for our group. Beds were comfortable and the views were amazing! Side note- it’s always frustrating to me to stay in a place that doesn’t have enough places for all the guests to hang their towels but this place had so many hooks in the bathrooms and bedrooms. I know that’s a weird thing to like but I just wanted to mention it.We would recommend this place and we would definitely stay here again. It was a great weekend!

Beautiful cabin with a gorgeous view of the mountains!Pros: efficient amenities, comfortable bedding, plentiful towels/washcloths. Bathing essentials (body wash, shampoo and condition) are provided by host. Hot tub was very nice!! Cons: The roads and driveway to the cabin are mountain roads; steep and treacherous, especially at night time, just a forewarning. IT SHOULD ALSO BE NOTED THAT THIS CABIN IS SMALLER THAN IT APPEARS IN THE LISTING. We booked this cabin for a family vacation, (10 adults, 2 babies). However when we got there, we realized that we were short a bed and also the living room area is NOT large at all. Very few sitting places. We were glad that our whole party was not able to make the trip as there would not have been enough room for everyone to be comfortable. ALSO LET IT BE NOTED THAT THE HOSTS ARE NOT VERY RESPONSIVE! It takes a while to hear back from them and they ignored questions that I asked.

The view was beautiful and the beds were comfortable. Everything else was not as described on the 'luxury' listing. There was garbage and cigarette butts all over the property, broken appliances, seating, pots and pans. Not enough toilet paper and paper towel to last 1 day for the amount of guests we had staying. The hot tub had no chlorine in it. The carpet was filthy and couldn't be walked upon without shoes. Bathroom mats desperately needed washing. The home is a true log cabin so there are spaces on the ceiling between rooms, which makes the home very loud and lacking in privacy. We tried to civilly communicate multiple times to the property host during our stay and they wouldn't reply. Despite communication evidence between us and the host, the host tried to accuse us of damaging the property to VRBO. This property was far from luxury and left us significantly disappointed along with horrible integrity of the host.

You will receive check-in instructions the day of check-in including your personalized special code to our smart lock for the duration of your stay. Keep in mind the deadbolt lock will lock automatically every time the door closes so you will need to enter the code each time you wish to re-enter the property.

Whether you plan to relax at your mountain retreat or spend fun-filled days exploring Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, you're bound to have an incredible stay at Nine Mile View.

You will have private access to the entire cabin. The day of your check-in, you will receive a personalized code to the smart lock, along with instructions to complete the self check-in. Keep in mind that there is no key, and the door will lock each time you close it - just re-enter the code each time you wish to get into the cabin.

All the TVs in the cabin have free access to Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN, and you can log into your other streaming accounts as well.

When you stay in this lovely, relaxing family home, you’ll have the entire place to yourself. There is plenty of private parking, and you'll be given a lockbox to enter the home. For your convenience, there’s free WiFi, a washer and dryer, kitchen, and bathroom essentials. The living room and all the bedrooms contain smart TVs with a selection of Disney Plus, Hulu & ESPN available at no cost. Feel free to log into other subscriptions you may have during your stay.

Our guests may bring one pet provided the breed and size are disclosed and approved by the host. Guests must agree to clean any mess made by their pets and ensure no damage will be done to the property by their pets. If you bring an unauthorized pet you will be charged $500.00 and an additional $250.00 ozone and cleaning fee!
