Three bedrooms and one bath with one full kitchen will give your family plenty of space. All beds are Euro Plush mattresses will give the best night's sleep of your life. Enjoy the privacy of your own Master King Bedroom and two separate rooms each with their own Double Bed. And for the extra family that comes with you, we have a Double Sleeper Sofa and a Single Sleeper Sofa in the gorgeous living room with gas fireplace and stunning lake views. Family meals with be perfect with the full kitchen and dining areas for your own space. Relax under the stars on the deck overlooking the woods and lake or enjoy a campfire by the picnic table adjacent to the deck! This property is offsite from the resort giving you full access to the resort during season resort is open. Three night minimum. Pets are not allowed.

This is the WORST experience we have ever had at a vacation rental. I have never left a 1 star review. Here is why:1. There are no closets in the entire house, not even a hanging rack. You will literally need to live out of piles of clothes. 2. There are no dressers 3. You have to clean the dishes when you get there. 4. The pool and hot tub are OFF SITE. Other amenities that are offsite are listed as offsite. 5. The washing machine was disgusting. I will attach a picture. We had to clean it. 6. There are no deadbolts. 7. There was a man working outside on the lower level until 1am with all the flood lights on. 8. I started contacting the owner on Wednesday and there was no response until Friday. We made the decision to leave the property based on all of the things I mentioned, and were met with a rude and completely unprofessional, unapologetic response. We have been fighting to get our money back for one of the three days we didn’t stay. The owner was able to rent the unit out after us, and still won’t pay us. He has decided to give me a bad renter review which is ridiculous since we cleaned his house and left it cleaner than we found it. With that said, the house is pretty clean and newly renovated. There are games and a firepit that we were able to enjoy and the mosquito level was very minimal. The location is close to all the main attractions of the Dells.

Great location, cute and new but….

This home is in a great location near everything. The decor is very nice. Loved the fire pit. I would consider if a family needing 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. My major issue was it was listed as 4 bedroom 2 full bath. I was quite upset when we checked in (apologies) after a very long day/drive. I called the host and after a somewhat heated exchange I was offered free activities at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park (I.e, use of golf cart that wasn’t allowed down too boat dock, unlimited mini golf, 2 drink tickets- value $100) but we had plans already and honestly the fact that the property was part of the campground system was not on listing. We didn’t get value from the compensation offer. Also it was clear that the lower level of the unit was under construction - likely the 4th bedroom and second bathroom - but it was no where near ready. I asked for a discount on rate but was declined. In addition, we had a mouse in the unity. I reported it and they did send out a very nice house cleaner with some traps. That was great but it didn’t work. Mouse was not caught. We just dealt with it as the thought of relocating all our stuff was untenable. We just blockaded our bedroom doors with towels at night; we didn’t see rodent in day, but I think maybe they need to investigate the entry points by the chimney which I reported. Bottom line, I wish the unit had been marketed properly so we had the space we desired and that the unit was free of rodents. Otherwise, a lot to like.

This was a great place with a great location. We accidentally locked ourselves out and the manager was there very quickly to let us in. Enjoyed the outdoor fire.

Beautiful Home

The home was beautiful and newly done. There was still some construction going on with wiring on the ground around the property with no caution tape, so we had to be careful. Had to contact the owner with a mishap that had happened late in the night and they offered an extra ammenity to rectrify the situation.

Comfortable, compact cabin

Clean and very attractively decorated accommodation comprising the upper level of a 2-storey home. Thoughtfully equipped kitchen and bathroom (great to have washer and dryer). Well stocked with board games. Lovely wooded outlook and great birdwatching at the entrance to the property driveway. Hadn’t quite realized how snug the living space is, however. As a party of 4 adults and 4 kids, we struggled to fit comfortably around the dining table. Here are a few other observations. 1. The lights in the dining area are frustrating! They stay on for 5 minutes, and then have to be turned on again. It would be a great improvement to address this. 2. The lights in the master bedroom (ceiling plus both bedside lights) seem to be all controlled by the main switch, which means that it’s either 3 lights (ceiling plus two nightstands) or none. Not great when one person wants to sleep and one wants to read. 3. There is a small (1-2 inch) step between the dining area and the living space, and all of us (kids and adults) tripped up and down this MULTIPLE times! Could you make it more visible (maybe color the trim white?) or create a ramp? It would not be very safe for older folks. 4. The description of ‘lake view’ is rather over-promising! We could hardly see a glimmer of water without leaf cover, so I guess in spring/summer it would be even less visible. 5. The property is rather closer than we’d realized to I90/94. Overall though a great stay. With so many amazing entertainment options nearby, we chose a 1-day pass to Kalahari, hiking at Mirror Lake SP and Chapel Gorge Trail, Wizard Quest and Crazy Golf.

Peaceful Retreat

We loved the view - we saw lots of wildlife in the hills! The St Patrick's Day decorations was also a nice touch! We did however need to re-wash a few of the pans before use and the auto lights were a bit frustrating. They would keep turning off when we wanted them on, and turned on during the night whenever someone moved while sleeping in the living area. Maybe there is a way to disable that feature? Otherwise everything was perfect! We'd love to come back when we can enjoy the outdoors a little more :) Thanks! p.s. We'd also like to request a hot tub...haha!

Not quite the Peace and Quiet Getaway Weekend

This vacation rental property was very nice and in an excellent location. It was clean, quaint and comfortable. I do have to say though, the unexpected construction they were doing to the house during our stay was a nuisance to our trip. On Saturday there was banging, drilling and cutting of wood in the area below for most of the day. Sunday brought some more banging and cutting of concrete and Monday morning we were woken by a small crew of workers and a concrete truck. My family was looking forward to escaping the hustle and bustle and having a few days of peace and quiet. In light of the situation, it would have been nice to have the circumstances communicated to us and given us the opportunity to continue to stay or cancel our reservation. All that said, my family was not going to let the construction nuisance ruin our getaway and we did have a very enjoyable time. Thank you for the opportunity to express our disappointment, we do wish you success with whatever remodeling project you are working on and we would consider staying at your vacation rental property in the future, when the construction is done.

Our family purchased this house originally for employee housing for our nearby resort. It was formerly owned by a very close and dear family friend. We painstakingly saved the historic batten board and original fireplace in the living room.
