Stylish Suite for 2 - Heart of the Outer Banks - Private Gym and Hot Tub.

Salt Suite; the OG of our rental properties. This suite is a newly renovated private apartment on the ground level of our home with it's own separate entrance. We have went out of our way to make your stay as luxurious and comfortable as possible. We have just about everything you need, and we are in the most central location on the Outer Banks. The gorgeous Atlantic Ocean is 3/4 of a mile away with multiple beach accesses and ample parking. Head 3 short blocks west and you will find the bike path and several sound accesses where you may watch the sunset over the water. Take a bike ride on the path to the Wright Brother's Monument and National Park. We provide the Bikes! Our home Gym is available for you to use at your leisure. Its private and easily accessible; right next door to the Suite on the ground level. Enjoy the firepit / grilling area also. New this year is a relaxing Hot Tub that is just for our guests! We hope to see you soon!
FYI, we live upstairs, but we are aware and respectful of your space.

Our stay here was wonderful my wife and I truly enjoyed this little getaway. It is a true hidden gem in kill Devil Hills highly recommend anyone to stay here and enjoy a good time.

Amy and Chris were very friendly and responded quickly. The Suite was perfect and decorated nicely. Everything you could possibly need was there! The Suite was organized and very clean. The location is great, everything is close by. We had a great stay and plan to return!

Our stay despite the rain all day went extremely well. Homeowner’s/host were nothing less than helpful and highly involved. Check in was a breeze and check out was even smoother. Not far from plenty of places to eat and drink. I’ll definitely be a repeat renter!

We had a wonderful stay at the Salt Suite! Amy and Chris thought of everything. The Salt Suite was beautifully appointed, artful, and gorgeous. The bikes were super comfortable beach cruisers. I just can’t say enough about the thought and detail that obviously went into making sure our stay was a wonderful experience. Every little touch was noticed and deeply appreciated.

Had a great time! Great location, bikes were super helpful getting around, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, loved the lighting choices(could go from ambient to bright) and furniture was comfortable.

Great getaway for our anniversary. Relaxed in the hot tub. Enjoyed great food at the Salt Box and fresh fish in Wanchese. Our trip to old downtown Manteo was great. Cute shops and interesting history. Overall great time but too short. Hope to be able to stay longer next time.

Everything was nice and clean! It was all prepped for us when we got there. They provided lots of things like towels for showering. The hot tub was perfect! Nice and cozy! There were lots of places to explore close by. Beach wasn’t too far away. It was a wonderful suite and we enjoyed our stay!

fantastic place very close to the beach

There is so much to do in the OBX area and this unit is right in the middle. Host family is fantastic and this is probably the cleanest and most well-appointed VRBO we've ever stayed at. Can't wait to go back again!

My husband, Chris, grew up in the Outer Banks. His family was shipwrecked here in the late 1700’s. He is a true local. I grew up in western Maryland near Deep Creek Lake and moved to Hatteras Island in 1998. We are both motivated and hardworking; we love working in hospitality. We are an adventurous family with Cattle Dog, Riptide, in tow; always out surfing, beaching, hiking, skiing, climbing, and biking. If it involves being outside, we are game.

The neighborhood is safe and quiet. It is close to a great bike/walking path with water and sunset views. Centrally located and very close to the beach.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We take really good care of our Suite and you can't beat having your own private gym right here on the property. We also have a brand new hot tub that is just for our suite. Everything is cleaned thoroughly between each guest. We supply just about everything you need for your stay and if there is something we missed, please don't hesitate to ask. FYI , we live upstairs. You will see us outside occasionally and you may hear some noise upstairs but we are always aware of our guests and respectful of your privacy.
