Escape to the country in a cozy lower-level suite with fantastic mountain views from the front porch and fire pit area. Situated just over Waggoner's Gap, 10 miles from Carlisle, my space offers the best of the area year-round! Enjoy hiking, fishing, Carlisle auto expo, Dickinson College, Shippensburg, Hershey Park, & more.

Our home sits on five acres with spectacular mountain views from the front porch and fire pit area!
The space is a walk-out basement cottage with a living area, kitchenette, full bath w/ shower, and large bedroom. The space is entirely private from our living space. The door to the upstairs remains locked during your stay.

Our family of two live upstairs with our lab, Boone. We consider our guests; however, you can and should expect normal family noises. Please keep this in mind when considering our space.

Guest access:
The entire lower-level suite is yours to use. There is a smart lock on the entry door for your convenience. Feel free to use the firepit area (wood provided) and the front and back decks. We have some pretty amazing views and sunsets! There is a small propane grill for guests outside of the guest entrance. Propane, bbq tools, and foil are provided.

Other things to note:
The cottage is an entirely smoke-free/Tobacco-free space.

** For security purposes, we have outdoor cameras. We will deactivate the cameras facing the driveway, under the deck, and on the front porch during your stay **

Smoking is permitted in the outside areas, and please use the provided labeled receptacles.

Grocery stores, wine and spirits, and local restaurants are about 20 minutes from the cottage.

An Italian restaurant with a convenience store (Pappa'Z), Dollar General, and a gas station five miles from the cottage. Restaurant delivery is not available to the cabin.

Outdoor recreation is the name of the game in the phenomenal region; you'll have ample opportunities to experience it all!
