Peaceful Family Retreat in Pigeon Forge

We recently stayed in The Nest cabin in Pigeon Forge for five nights and had a wonderful, relaxing experience. The biggest highlight was the peace and quiet—it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable family stay.While the views weren’t as breathtaking as we’d hoped, the overall atmosphere more than made up for it. The setting still felt tucked away and private, and our son loved going to the pool and having his own space in the loft.It’s a great spot for families looking to unwind and reconnect. We came away feeling refreshed and would highly recommend this cabin stay to others looking for a quiet retreat in the Pigeon Forge area.

Pigeon Forge Family Trip

We loved our stay at the Nest in Sherwood forrest. The Nest was very well appointed with everything we needed. Mandy went above and beyond providing necessities to get us started. She was a fantastic host, checking in with us throughout our stay. The community was fantastic as we had several friends staying in Sherwood forrest, but our location was perfect, not too far up the mountain so it was easy to get in and out, but far enough on the 2nd street that we felt secluded. The furnishings and kitchen were top notch. It was so easy to get around pigeon forge and take in the sights. Perfect for a family of 3-4 or two couples.

Exactly what we needed!

The property was exactly as listed. We love the Sherwood Resort area as well. The host kept in contact with me as we did have some bad weather while there. She checked on us and made sure we were ok. I appreciated the care and compassion. 10/10.

Great weekend getaway

This super cozy cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway as a family of 4. It was exactly as listed and the host was quick to answer any questions I had. The cabin was clean and in the perfect location, only a few minutes of the main road.

Great Cabin

This was our fifth trip to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. We loved staying at the Nest. Location was great. It was very clean. Mandy was very helpful with anything we needed. Over all a great experience. We'll be back again.

Loved the Christmas Decor

The Nest was a great place for my husband and I to get away to for a few days of Christmas shopping and exploring. The owners have paid attention to the details that make you feel like you’re well taken care of, cozy throws for watching tv in front of the fireplace, a Keurig for an instant coffee fix, beautiful tree, Smart TVs with access to your streaming services, etc. The owner was responsive to our questions and easy to work with.

Couple getaway

Stayed for 1 week and truly enjoyed everything about the cabin. Communication with the owner was always responsive. Very clean, didn’t even see a single cobweb! Bed was comfortable and kitchen had all appliances needed. Would definitely stay again!!

Amazing Cabin!

We loved everything about this cabin! From the easy check in process, communication with Mandy, decor, cleanliness of the cabin, to checkout. This may have been the most check in process we have had. The cabin is easy to find, neighborhood is safe and clean with a community pool if you love to swim. I highly recommend booking this cabin!

Happy with rental

We walked in and right away the house was clean, it smelled clean and the decor and furniture were nice. There were plenty of towels and . The AC works well, we were comfortable coming in from a long day around town. Recommend this rental to anyone looking to visit the area.

Cozy Cabin

This cabin was perfect for me, my husband and two teenaged daughters. It was close and convenient to nearby attractions. While in a neighborhood with cabins nearby, it felt secluded with the trees between the cabins. The cabin was cozy, clean and the beds were very comfortable! The back porch with hot tub was a favorite evening spot. Mandy was a responsive and gracious host! We definitely will book again!

Super clean, gorgeous, quiet cabin!

This cabin is a new listing, but don’t let that stop you from booking it. We were thrilled with everything about it. The pictures do not lie, it is just gorgeous. Everything is new and so tastefully decorated. The cabins in this area are close together, but you feel completely secluded. We spent a lot of time on the back porch and it was always quiet and peaceful. The distance to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is perfect. We were able to do things in both towns and be back to the cabin in minutes. The master bedroom is great for sleeping, it was dark, cool and the bed was excellent. We had a wonderful stay here. We will definitely be back!

Our cabin is close to everything - minutes from Parkway and less than 10 miles from Dollywood, The Island, Gatlinburg, Great Smoky Mountain National Park plus tons of other attractions for both couples and families with endless dining options.

While it's in a gated community around other cabins, many guests have noted it feels secluded. It's well suited for a couples romantic getaway or a small family who can have space for kiddos in the loft to sleep and play.

Once you've explored for the day, you come home to a secluded resort (Sherwood Forest) which is right off the Parkway. The cabin has been updated but still maintains a very cozy, cabin feel. Enjoy the private hot tub, walk down to the community pool (when in season) or kick back in The NEST's Leisure Loft (our favorite spot).

We have lightening fast internet to watch your favorite shows or work (which we hope you don't have to). If you are interested in just relaxing, the Leisure Loft is a great place to read, listen to music, play games or nap!
