Book your stay at the beautiful island house located just a short walk or brief golf cart (you are provided 2 golf carts) to the beach.

The Salty Conch is an exquisite home for comfortable living and on a private site located close to the gulf beaches on a quiet sandy lane. Surrounded by a tropical landscape with circular patio and a private, heated pool. Screened-in outdoor living space with TV, games, dining, and sitting areas. A lovely two-story foyer greets you on the first level, plus two King bedroom suites and an additional Queen. A loft room with a Full bed and fantastic Gulf views surrounded by sliding glass doors that lead to the top lookout deck with panoramic views of the island. The luxurious, fully equipped kitchen with living room and dining to enjoy a full family experience. The Salty Conch is the place to Make Memories that last a Life Time!

The owners are members of the Island Club. Effective for all reservations booked after March 1, 2026 guests will be required to go to the Island Club office and register for the amenities. The Island Club will charge you $75 for use of these amenities. This is an Island Club policy. It is totally optional and you will be able to still use the Island Club small pool as well as go to the pool bar and restaurant. If you opt out not to register, you can still rent bikes and kayaks at Boats and Fun.

There are 4 restaurants on the island: Mangos Pool Bar, Boathouse, Over the Waterfront, & Mainstay (formerly Barnacle Phils)

This vacation rental home is located on North Captiva Island. Remote and undiscovered, North Captiva Island is accessible only by ferry, private boat or small plane. This private island community is reminiscent of old Florida as it once was during a simpler time. Just 3 miles off shore, this tropical paradise is part of the Lee Island Coast barrier island chain in South West Florida. Nearest airport to fly to would be in Fort Myers, Fl or Punta Gorda. Travel by golf cart (two golf carts included with your stay) or bicycle on our sandy native trails. Here, you will find no cars, no crowds or paved roads. North Captiva Island offers a small town impression with just enough amenities to suite your family needs.

This was our favorite seat yet! Shally’s was so accommodating, and the island was beautiful! There was so much to do in the house, especially for kids! Beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach games were in good supply. We will be back!

Great House

This is a great house! They had everything we needed and more. We forgot just a couple small things and the kitchen had it. We have stayed on Captiva island for over 15 years almost every year and this was one of our favorite houses.

Beautiful location and property

We had a wonderful family vacation. The house was well equipped and beautiful. The upper deck had amazing 360 degree views of the water, and it was the perfect place to have coffee every morning and watch the sun set at night.

Fantastic place to stay for vacation

Excellent communication with host. Property fit our needs and plenty of toys/activities to use to keep people entertained. Along with the property having all kitchen utensils, supplies, beach stuff made for a great family vacation. Having a pool was an extra bonus that we highly recommend. Seemless check-in and check-out process. Appreciated having island information readily available in property,

Our stay at the Salty Conch was perfect! Not only was the property in pristine shape, Ally and her team made sure all our needs amd requests were met. The house is beautiful and the pool and bbq / outdoor dining areas are immaculate! I can't wait to rent again next year!

Exceptional location for a 2-Week multi-generational family stay!

Absolutely excellent place for our family to gather. The house was very comfortable, and well appointed. The management / team’s service was professional and very attentive. Everyone incredibly friendly. We loved this place for safety, relaxation and family reuniting after long time apart (overseas). As we were only the 2nd family to stay, we gave a few pieces of feedback which were requested and well received, with only the intention to help the management team make it even more ideal for next families. Absolutely recommended!

Wonderful stay at the Salty Conch

Our family of five spent a fun-filled week at property. It was in perfect shape with no residual issues from the hurricane. The kitchen had every implement you could ever need, ground floor patio was.filled with every imaginable game (ping pong to yardzee), the pool was also well situated with sun and shade, perfect for younger children.. the screened in porch on the 3rd level was a great addition along with the crows nest for sunsets. double kudos for the Legos under the coffee table.

Family Meet-Up

Lovely, beach decor, well stocked home. Many areas to spread out. Had everything we needed, except broken washer which inconvenienced a group of 9 . New washer arrived day before we left, so limited clothes were washed. If you have trouble with stairs, this may not be the house for you. This house has a lot to recommend it!

Unsatisfied

The house smelled very bad. They charged me 150 more for cleaning when I left because supposedly I left food inside the house, which was not true. I do not recommend this house.

Prior to your arrival our home was cleaned and inspected by our property manager. We received no notification from you that it wasn’t anything but exceptional. We take pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness for all our guests and as you can see from previous reviews, we have never had anything but 5 stars and NO complaints about our home not being clean. It is important to note that after your departure, we discovered and met your friends who entered and stayed overnight at the house with your permission but not ours. Additionally, they had a dog with them which was not authorized. This unexpected occupancy contributed to the additional cleaning required.

Perfect getaway

We cant say enough nice things about this house. First off, beautiful home and the decor was so pretty and it was immaculate! The layout was great. Smart to have the bedrooms on the first floor so you're not dragging luggage all over the house.This being our first time on North Captiva it was a little intimidating with meeting the ferry and our arrival. We used the recommended company, Island Girls, and we were greeted by people from the management company who handled all of our luggage and showed us around the house. It was seamless.We spent alot of time at the pool which was the draw for us but did enjoy tooling around in the golf cart seeing the island and getting out for a few dinners. We also enjoyed the beach to and it was so nice to have access to nice beach chairs when we did.We finally found the bluetooth speakers in the game room that really livened up our pool time. Seriously we wanted for nothing more out of this home. There were so many areas to enjoy inside and out.It really was perfect.Thank you, GCW Girls
