Very clean home with the perfect location! The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans for cooking and the sunroom was a great spot to relax and look at the ocean. We would definitely stay again!

Folly Beach Retreat

We enjoyed our family weekend getaway at your cute cottage by the beach. There is a stocked kitchen, clean towels and an inviting beach house. Gorgeous views of the beach and a close walk to the beach. All in all a wonderful trip to Folly Beach, South Carolina!

We loved it! It was absolutely perfect. Had beach chairs available, was in a great location- close enough to the main street to access restaurants and shops but far enough away to avoid the crowds. Would 100% stay here again.

Great Getaway

Lovely getaway on Folly beach. Steps from the beach with beautiful views. Older place but good place to relax with family or friends. The renter company responded to our questions and needs promptly. We would rent again.

April beach getaway

The house was clean and bright. I loved the view of the beach and the easy access. The kitchen table was a perfect spot for game night with friends and having our bikes made for fun adventures to Bert’s, the washout, and center street. Would love to stay there again!

Charming older beach house

We had a great stay here. The location is perfect—close enough to walk to the center of Folly but far enough away for it to be very quiet and peaceful. This place has seen some years but is perfect for a casual beach retreat. My only complaint was that the check in instructions were unclear and as we arrived late/after dark it was a bit frustrating figuring out how to access the house. The management company was responsive when we reached out and hopefully has addressed that. The beach is gorgeous and we would definitely recommend this for a getaway.

Diamond in the Rough!

This was the most charming stay for a close knit family. The one bathroom was the only drawback but was functional, super clean and that's where the close knit factored in. Perfect setting and beach front bonus deck was enjoyed by all. Grab this one if you can. Beautiful little spot. Also a mile away from the really fun beach community with plenty to see and do.

Fantastic Getaway

Has everything you need to have a fun week at the beach. We specifically enjoyed sitting on the deck watching and listening to the ocean. We saw dolphins several times while We love this beautiful beach house! It’s just steps from the ocean! We’ve stayed here before and we’ll be back. we were there. The beach is not too crowded so it feels private. We’ll definitely go back again!

Great Beach Cabin

As advertized. Clean, cozy place on the beach. Window unit on closed in porch was appreciated. Fully stocked kitchen. Dont forget to look under beds for extra blankets and pillows... PM was 45 min late in sending check in instructions. All in all great place.

Great location, clean and nice place

Loved our stay here! Loved the location and how we only had to walk a few steps to the beach. Views from the back deck and closed in porch are the best! The only recommendations we would make would be to add a new shower curtain due to a little mold and outside motion lights as we checked in and out in the dark using our cell phone lights to navigate the steps and driveway. Overall would definitely stay here again though! Make sure you check in at the back entrance facing the ocean, there are two sets of steps at the house. The lockbox is at the back.

Cute house - massive construction next door

The house is cute. Bathroom is small and hard to get around in. They are currently building two houses next to it - very loud construction. The entire house shakes all day long. It was pretty unpleasant.

Great overflow for family gathering

The property was fresh and welcoming! We used this as extra room for family coming into town. The majority of our group stayed in a property on the beach. This rental allowed for everyone to have a comfortable bed and space to relax. We could also manage needs as they changed with cousins arriving and departing at different times. Additionally, the space was used for grandma to get good naps away from the activity! The unit was aesthetically appealing. Felt warm and hotel-like at the same time. The beds were very comfortable. Nice layout. Property manager checked to see that we arrived, and that everything was in good working order. The outdoor areas had nice, comfortable furniture and I even used the grassy area for workouts. Great location. Would definitely recommend!

Maggie’s was a disappointment

The house had a funny smell the beds were very uncomfortable, there was construction on the beach, the wood on the rails was untreated and gave us all splinters, also in the listing it says “whole house” after you pay they tell you it’s an apartment and it’s upstairs so you are paying over $500 a night to share a house and are told you cannot make noise , you cannot have a grill for a beach trip find somewhere else it is absolutely not worth your money

Beach fun

Great location and right on the beach with plenty of room, as the beach is not crowded at all. One thing we didn't realize till we got there is there was active construction but they didn't work on Saturday and Sunday at least. But the other days they started hammering at 8:00 a.m. bring her and beach chairs as the beach chair is there are mostly broken. All appliances work and the beds are comfortable. Sheetz and towers will washed in very heavily scented detergent but we as the owners if they could consider otherwise in the future. Definitely use bug spray a dawn and dusk on the dock as there are sand fleas that we brought home a lot of bites from. With all that said, our stay was wonderful and we would still recommend the place. The place will sleep three couples comfortably.

Great location and views

We loved the location and views from the apartment. I'll go through pro's and con's Pro's - Unbeatable views from enclosed porch and 2 of the bedrooms - It's right on a nice part of the beach - Close but not easily walkable to downtown Folly - Nice and clean - Well stocked kitchen, some beach chairs, boogie boards and more. Con's: - Only one small bathroom. Ok or a couple but would be cramped with more people. The shower faucet was wacky and hard to get the right temperature. - The place is clean but pretty run down and not well maintained. Some Windows were stuck, screen with holes, splinters in outdoor handrails and walkway to beach, and more. You can tell there hasn't be much care put into fixing the place up. Given all the cons, we would stay there again if it was a small group of 2-3 people. The location and views were so good, it made our week.

Nice beach home

The home was very clean and spacious. It worked well for my family of 5. It had everything you could need and I loved the easy access to the beach. I would definitely stay again. There was construction happening next door, but I didn’t find it loud or disturbing at all. The internet did go down quite a bit which made it hard to watch anything in the evening with the kids. The only downfall was the ants. We made sure to keep all food and trash off the counters because the ants would find it quickly. They were in other parts of the house as well though. I had to really watch that my 1-year old wasn’t picking them up. I got bit twice by a fire ant, and my son once. We did find ant spray under the sink and it worked well.

Lovely Folly Beach Home

We had such a wonderful week at Maggie's Beachfront. We loved everything about the house. It truly is like stepping into your own home away from home. The beach is beautiful as always and Maggie's has a lovely yard with Folly foliage to frame the view as you look out from the house. It was full moon week and it was just beautiful every day and night! So many activities in and around Folly Beach and Charleston. This was our 14th trip and we never lack for things to do or repeat....but we always enjoy the beach the most. Every year we bring monopoly on vacation and this year we drove a smaller car and couldn't fit extras. To our delight there was a brand new Charleston Opoly in the house! It was such a fun suprise so thank you for that Maggie and for sharing you beautiful home! We are excited to return!
