anniversary stay

we came down for a wedding and to celebrate our anniversary and this was the perfect spot! the cabin is so nice and small perfect for a couples get away!

Awesome Getaway

We loved our stay! The cabin is decorated very nicely, quiet surroundings, clean, the owners are very helpful and quick to respond to our questions! We would certainly recommend the cabin to anyone looking for a quiet, lovely place to relax.

Great little Getaway

This place was amazing. Looks exactly like the picture. It’s a nice cozy little place, my wife and I wanted to have a little quiet getaway. We enjoyed playing with the animals on the property. It was easy to get to directions were clear as far how to use the property. We had zero problems. We will definitely be back again.

Perfect getaway location

Wonderful little cabin with everything I needed. Such a peaceful place enjoying the birds singing, watching the antics of the goats, all with a cat snuggled on my lap. The hosts were so gracious, even sharing fresh eggs with me. It just doesn’t get any better!

We loved this property. Everything was clean and tidy. They provided items you may need but forget like Q tips. The decor was pretty and comfy. The outdoor space out back was perfect and romantic. The owner was very nice and responsive.

Great Little Break

For 1-2 people this little cabin was perfect. Really quiet. Enjoyed friendly cat and dog (both stay outside but come to check on you). Internet was solid. Not close to a main road. So convenient to Greenville and the east side of Rockwall county. Owner/host was very responsive. There is another cabin and RV rental close, but you’re not right up on top of them and care was taken to enhance privacy.

Quite country home

This was my first booking with Vrbo. And I can’t say one bad thing. Could not have found anything better. And definitely wouldn’t have enjoyed myself as much in a hotel or motel in this area. The host Justin is very kind and helpful. Enjoyed the location and animals it reminds me of my childhood growing up in the south. This is Five Stars for sure!!

Restorative Retreat

This little cabin is a great space for a personal, private getaway. Just the right size for one or two people, it is a cozy space without feeling at all claustrophobic for its size. The space is very intentionally setup and each cabinet and area is thoughtfully curated with items that make it feel like a home away from home. This cabin has everything you need to make and enjoy a meal, and to do some thoughtful reflection or get some needed rest. The back porch is particularly special, perfectly nestled into the wooded area, with a view of the forest and all its creatures. Mornings on that porch are particularly nice - listening to the bird songs and watching the goats eat their breakfast. With lights strung around the porch, evenings on the porch are possible too. This cabin is on the main property of the owner, but we were left to ourselves and they have set up partitions to really allow for a sense of security and privacy. It is clear that this property is well loved and cared for so that any guest will feel welcome. I will definitely be returning for future retreats.

Get what you pay for

The overall property and stay was not bad. The listing states this is a private cabin however the word private is not exactly true. It sits on the back of the owners property which is visible from their house. There is another cabin about 30-40’ from this one so there is really no privacy. The inside was cute and styled nicely. The bed was super hard and not comfortable at all. The bathroom was small. The toilet sat between the wall and washer/dryer combo and made it very difficult to comfortably sit on the toilet. Water was well water and has a strong sulfur smell. Very limited parking and entrances to the cabins were small. It was quiet and peaceful, away from the sounds of the city which was nice. We ended up renting a hotel room near by for our last night there because of the hard bed, sulfur smelly water, and bathroom situation. Entering/exiting the property was not the most convenient, especially if you’re a solo traveler. You had to open and close the entrance gate each time and the property owners have 4 dogs (3 are large dogs). The dogs were friendly once they got used to us but would definitely be an issue for anyone with a fear of dogs.

Tiny House

This tiny house is very clean, very comfortable and is great for any length of stay! I stayed over a week and enjoyed every day. If you want more than just a stay and are after an experience, then step outside and get to know Justin, Stacy and their family. They can always use your help around their land and if you enjoy goats, chickens and a good sweat in the sun then this is the place for you! Whether you want to relax in peace or want to be social, this tiny house can fit both desires!
