Love it here!

Our 4th year staying here and fell in love all over again: with the point, the views, the eagles and lots of lobster! Sharon & Todd have become friends and we look forward to next summer.

The way life should be!

Exactly as advertised, only better. Delightful hosts who communicated well and were very responsive to requests. The setting is magnificent! If you want a perfect slice of coastal Maine, this is it. It feels worlds away and yet is just 15 minutes to all that Brunswick offers. Perfect base from which to explore the Mid Coast.

Cozy, Clean and Beautiful View!

We really enjoyed our stay on Mere Point and would recommend this studio. Unit was very clean, cozy and the views of the water were spectacular. Sharon (host) was very friendly and responsive to our questions.

Gorgeous location!

Wonderful stay on Mere Point with walks around the neighborhood. Also convenient to yummy sandwiches at a marina nearby. I was sad we had planned so much to do— it would’ve been lovely to just hang out all weekend! Thank you to Sharon and Todd.

Mini moon stay

My husband and I LOVED our stay here. After a fun and hectic wedding week this was just what we needed. So quiet and just enough secluded that we could have some quiet time but close enough to town that we can go and enjoy a walk in town and good food. The hosts were SO lovely and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

A quiet and peaceful, seaside stay.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a weekend getaway to Maine. Check in was made super simple and easy, and when we arrived the apartment was clean and ready for us to crash after our long day driving and walking around Portland. The location itself is gorgeous, right on the tip of Mere point, on the water, giving you a beautiful scenic drive to get there, and wonderful views from the apartment itself. Sometimes I’m hesitant to book places that share the property with owners, mainly cause I like my privacy, but privacy was no concern here, the layout allowed you to feel in your own separate space, even though you’re attached to the house. Sharon and Todd were wonderfully accommodating, quick to respond through messages, and extremely welcoming. We were offered to use their bikes, kayaks, and paddle board, to enjoy their deck right on the water, etc. My only regret is not utilizing these things more on the trip! Overall I’d recommend this to anyone who wants a tranquil getaway on the coast of Maine!

We stayed for a few days and were so happy with the location and accommodations. They had everything we needed, including a large pot to boil a fresh lobster and tools to enjoy fresh oysters! Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Quiet, beautiful, and fireflies!

The place is just what it looks like in the photos. My daughter and I stayed for two nights. We ate take-out one evening down on the deck that looks out over Maquoit Bay. We woke to the sounds of birds in the trees around us. Another evening, after nightfall, we walked down the road and were delighted by all the fireflies we saw. We were here in mid July, and the days were warm, but with the fans running to studio was completely pleasantly cool...and if we'd felt we needed it, we could have used the A/C. If I needed to return to this area, I'd book my stay here immediately! If you book here, be sure to use the address in your GPS. VRBO's "automatic directions" try to lead you to a buoy off the tip of the point!

Perfect peaceful retreat!

This loft was perfect for our last minute trip! The space was immaculate and peaceful (so glad to have the heat pump to combat the humidity). It was beautiful, very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the access to the dock and visited it daily. Sharon and Todd were kind and wonderful hosts who were willing to accommodated us and any questions we had. We would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a peaceful ocean side retreat! We hope we have the opportunity to return some day!

Wonderful little studio

The studio was very cute, everything I needed was there. The atmosphere was very peaceful and restful. I thoroughly enjoyed just sitting on the deck and reading!

Absolutely lovely

My husband and I stayed here for our fifth anniversary and it was absolutely spectacular. It’s a secluded location so don’t plan on walking to any restaurants or shops, but you can easily drive a half hour to an hour and get to many major cities or adorable small towns. We spent much of our time in Portland but were able to retreat to this beautiful lofted space in the evening. It comes with waterfront access and kayaks which was delightful! There is a small place called Paul’s marina nearby for provisions like chips, water, and even lobster rolls and sandwiches! That was really convenient for us for meals that we didn’t want to go far for. Sharon and Todd were excellent hosts and very responsive to our needs. We had a wonderful time and I feel fully transformed from all the kindness and tranquility of Maine. We cannot wait to come back with our kids next time!

Perfect Getaway

This was my second time staying at the studio and I can’t say enough good things about it! Sharon and Todd are exceptional hosts, they really go the extra mile to make sure you have everything you could need for a fantastic stay. The location is perfect and it’s very easy to get to Portland and Freeport for a day trip, but you will probably want to stay on their beautiful private street (I know I did!). They even gave me a bottle of Prosecco for my birthday, it was super kind! Thank you Sharon and Todd!

" Place To See Before You Die "

I have no words to describe the hospitality from Todd and Sharon. I am glad they opened this cozy studio to give more people the opportunity to enjoy Mere Point. The view from the studio is exactly as shown in the picture. The studio was nice and clean. We loved bringing some wine and taste the local oyster on their dock during the sunset!
