Get away from all your chaos and come relax at our cottage located on Torchlake in Northern Michigan. Located 40 min North of Traverse city and 5 min from Central Lake this lovely lakefront cottage sleeps 8 with 2 bathrooms.
Torch lake is known for nature activities including hiking, canoeing, fishing and diving. National Geographic rated Torch lake the 3rd most beautiful lake in the world . This quiet area is a nature-lovers paradise. Torch Lake is much quieter than most Michigan lakes. Noted for its exceptional beauty; its waters are unusually clear and exhibit a bright turquoise hue, often resembling Caribbean waters.
This vacation home has a large yard with a fire pit and dock. The yard allows for playing fun family lawn games together.
This house also has a deck off the back with seating and a gas grill. This allows for wonderful outdoor cooking and dining while enjoying the beauty of the lake. There is a driveway that easily accommodates up to 4 vehicles.

My family and I stayed here for a week, wanting access to Torch Lake for the sailing regatta we were in town for. The house provided a great gathering location and place to create great memories! The deck by the water was our favorite place to hang out, with the most incredible sunsets!

broad wide beautiful yard opening onto incredible lake vistas. just exactly as the pictures present it. plenty of room outside for firepit, croquet, throwing baseball, tag, etc.

Michelle is a great host.

The property is on the north side of the lake. If you like things to be a bit quieter then this is the place for you. We had plenty of room for our family of six.

Beautiful location. We have never stayed anywhere that didn't furnish AC, an ironing board & iron, and outlets that included 3 prongs or a dock that you couldn't dock your boat to. When I contacted the owner about the AC not working (the thermostat stated heat or cool), I was informed thete was no AC and that no one ever complained because it is cooler by the lake. Told to just open the windows. We opened all the windows, turned on every fan and it was still 80 inside the house 6 days later! Later, we noticed that we were being watched through a camera outside. If I could give this property more than five stars, I would. Honestly, the pictures and description don't do it justice. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by how beautiful, peaceful, and serene the property truly is.The home was spotless, incredibly well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything our family needed for a comfortable week at the lake. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was seamless and stress-free.The location is simply incredible. Being directly on Torch Lake meant we had immediate access to the crystal-clear, Caribbean-blue water whenever we wanted. The private dock made swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the lake effortless. Evenings quickly became our favorite time of day as we watched breathtaking sunsets from the deck, listened to the gentle waves, and relaxed in the comfortable outdoor seating. The yard and outdoor living spaces were perfect for unwinding and taking in the natural beauty surrounding us.The location is also ideal for exploring Northern Michigan. We took easy day trips to Traverse City, Charlevoix, Mackinac Island, and several other beautiful destinations. With convenient access to M-31, everything was within easy driving distance, allowing us to explore during the day and return each evening to the peaceful beauty of Torch Lake.If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway with stunning views, crystal-clear water, and a home that truly feels like a home away from home, this is the place.
