Baker View Lodging with hot tub, sound, mountain, and territorial views.

Come relax at our unique island paradise. Our cozy, spacious, apartment offers mountain, sound, and territorial views. Take a short walk to the beach through a well-maintained woodsy trail, or enjoy our many local parks, including; Cama Beach Historical State Park, and Camano Island State Park.

Enjoy bird watching down by our multi-acre pond, roast s'mores in our outdoor fire pit, or sit in a hot tub overlooking the pasture and pond. Grab a cup of coffee and a pastry at Camano Commons Marketplace, or enjoy one of our many local restaurants. Tourists are drawn to our islands outdoor Art Festivals and Farmer's Markets. Local art studios can be found scattered across the island. The artistic creations of local authors and artists can be found in the Loft at Camano Commons Marketplace, where you can purchase a variety of original art pieces. Visit one of our local wineries and enjoy their offerings.

Our spacious, two-bedroom apartment sleeps five with a large comfortable couch that can accommodate kids. Cots available by request. Relax indoors by a cozy electric fireplace, or read a book in our comfortable reading nook, complete with a loveseat and a variety of books for your enjoyment. Savor an outdoor dining experience at our six-person fire table. Set under a charming gazebo, the fire table is set up for year-round dining. Mosquito netting and curtains allow for a comfortable dining experience, rain or shine.

Owners occupy the top two stories of this three story home, and have a friendly 90 pound dog, and an indoor/outdoor cat. The dog will be leashed and monitored when outside. We will honor your privacy unless you would like to engage in conversation. You might find us watering the flowers or lawns. Please feel free to say hi, and ask us any questions you might have about the property, apartment, or local amenities. We want your stay to be relaxing and life-giving, a place where you can unwind and breathe. We hope you will become regular guests who enjoy our island paradise for years to come!

Shelley was helpful and friendly, the property is beautiful and peaceful, kitchen had everything we needed to cook, the beds are amazingly comfortable- we had a great time celebrating Ziggy's 62nd birthday! Oh and we loved the hot tub overlooking the peaceful pasture.

Bird watching haven!

Our stay was fantastic. The hosts were so helpful, responsive and welcoming with many sweet, thoughtful touches. The property was beautiful and one of a kind. We saw hummingbirds, a blue heron family in a nearby nest, a bald eagle and many other birds all from our front door! Everything was perfect, we recommend highly.

Our Best Experience

Vrbo, the hostess at this property was phenomenal!!!!! Not only was the property immaculate the very personal host and hostess made the stay that much better. They say location, location, location and this was certainly on of those!! A must stay and I am 100% we will be back there again!!

These people are amazing! They were very accommodating and respectful of our privacy. Their dog is a sweet heart. We would highly recommend staying here and we will be returning next year!

Short but wonderful stay!

We had a very relaxing couple of days! The house was just as pictured, actually bigger than we thought. The backyard was perfect and the chairs set up in the field for birdwatching was great! Shelley was a great host and responded immediately to anything we needed. Wish we had a few more days there 😊

Quiet and Peaceful!

Shelley was amazing to book with. This property was really wonderful. Beautiful property with awesome places to escape to and read a book with a cup of coffee. Hot tub and hammock. Close to the beach. Clean rooms and tidy. Would book again!

A lovely, restful place

We loved looking out across the acreage to see herons, bald eagle, and geese flying. A variety of places were available for sitting outside - so nice. Inside was spacious and filled with softness in the pillows, throw blankets, and bedding. Truly inviting. We loved it! And the host and hostess were very kind and gracious. Beaches and good food were nearby.

Wonderful stay on Camano Island

My wife and I had a wonderful and relaxing time staying at Shelley and Marko's unit! It is super clean, spacious, and had everything we needed (and them some). The outdoor area with its views was such a great place to relax. Beach access is near by and we didn't need to drive anywhere for that. Marko and Shelley are super friendly. We enjoyed chatting with them and getting to know them a little. Would most definitely stay here again!

Anniversary Getaway

A lovely property, beautifully decorated, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, laundry facilities. Everything we needed and more! It was a delight to visit with Shelley and Marko and any questions we had were promptly answered. We loved having the option to sit out and eat on the patio with additional seating on a grassy knoll. A quiet, pristine beach was only a 10 minute stroll from the property with so much frontage on which to walk. We wish we could have stayed longer!

AMAZING getaway!!

Beautiful property - with so much to enjoy!! - great space for family - great space for family & friends! - extremely spacious, everything you can’t think of you have along with a great night sleep on great mattress!! Outside space to enjoy, was everything on a hot summer day - seating in the shade, loungers to suntan on, little ones seating :)) and a fire pit & bbq to enjoy! The hosts are incredible!! !! !! Very welcoming, kind and thoughtful - though of every detail to ensure their guest have a beautiful and relaxing stay! The community recommendation have been great! We got to discover local art, great coffee, yummy ice cream & market, beautiful moments in nature & at the beach enjoying the water & paddle boarding ! ❤️ A great little getaway for the whole family that included a 13 year old & 2 1/2 year old Thank you for making our weekend so AMAZING! Great place to stay

Everything was amazing with our stay at Shelley and Marko's rental. The communication prior to booking, before check-in and during our stay was extremely responsive. We had a special accommodation request that I asked about and Shelley and Marko were very gracious to consider and accommodate our request. The unit itself is newly updated, very clean, and very well stocked with anything you could need during your stay including outdoor yard games. Both the location and rental unit are great for families or couples looking to get away. There is beach access nearby within walking distance or you can make a short drive to either state park on Camano Island for lots of activities to do. There is clean outdoor lounge seating, ample table seating for outdoor summer eating, a bbq, and fire pit. Linens are high quality and very comfortable. Outdoor yard games are ready for use in the closet. Everything is clean, comfortable and well thought out at this rental and the outdoor area is comfortable and quite for relaxing or quality family time. We plan on returning in the future.

Island Paradise on Camano

I was very fortunate to book this property when I did, as it was a busy time., the day before Thanksgiving. And the purpose of my stay was to visit and spend time with family. There are so many incredible details that have gone into this space, where to even begin! When you book this place you get the whole downstairs to yourself which was just perfect for much needed alone time. First of all, you will notice that it is top notch, IMMACULATE. You could probably eat off the floor if you wanted to ;) Soft music welcomed me, like it was curated just for my taste. Super warm and cozy… . Instant HAPPY! You can take off your shoes right when you walk in too. Great time to get organized and just chill, also to read a book (from their book nook) and got to catch up on computer biz, with the desk provided. The master bedroom is gigantic and spacious, sheets and bedding were heavenly! Slept like a DREAM. Ugg pillowcases, never knew there was such a thing! Floors in Master bedroom are a beautiful, glazed type cement, along with silky smooth wood, floors in bathroom and kitchen. Kitchen is a work of art in itself! Turquoise accents on many of the kitchen appliances give it a modern retro feel. Everything feels so hand-crafted, and one of a kind.! Towels galore for days! Lush and so decadent! Bathroom is insane with not only a shower, but also it’s own stand alone tub. There‘s a HUGE laundry room with larger than life washer and dryer, which I loved, Yay! Not to forget, peekaboo mountain view upon sunrise! Enjoyed every second of my time here. So peaceful! Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Camano Island, who is looking for a secret hideaway. Beaches are nearby, I got up and walked down and got some amazing pictures of the water, what a breath of fresh air. An added bonus was Marko and I built a bonfire, (he showed me the ropes) Coffee bar is over the top cool. Yes plz! Marko even brought down my favorite creamer, and Shelly made us breakfast! Finally, check out was a breeze, and getting in and out was virtually seamless. Shelly and Marko were perfect hosts. They have taken great care to not miss a beat! This island paradise is simply MAGIC and not easy to come by! I would definitely stay here again and the price is just right. 2 nights is not nearly enough! A week would be more optimal :) I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did! Happy Island Girl, Eva
