Quiet neighborhood, easy check in, everything easily accessible, wi-fi, pool pass, parking tags. quick walk to the beach, clean and comfortable, plenty of towels. Instructions for checkout very clear and easy. Seemed liked that were we in the middle of island, whether we want went south or north everything was very convenient. Only one “negative” There were only 2 frying pans, no bigger than 6 inches, larger skillets would have made breakfast, and some dinners for 5 quicker and easier.l

Exactly a 2 minute and 45 second walk to beach! Property was clean and beds were comfortable. All kitchen necessities were supplied. We love this area and would stay here again!

Great Condo & Location

My family and I just spent 5 nights at this condo and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The condo is beautiful and well equipped. The Forest Ridge area is very quiet, allowing for an incredibly restful time. The family visited the historic district several times to enjoy meals and shopping. Owner Kurt was very responsive to questions and one concern we had. We hope to stay here again the future.

5 Star Fernandina Beach

"We had an absolutely amazing stay at this Fernandina Beach gem! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach and close to all the charm of downtown Fernandina. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were super comfortable, and the outdoor space was a total bonus for relaxing after a day in the sun. The host was incredibly responsive and made the whole process a breeze. We can’t wait to come back—5 stars all the way!"

Good place

Nice condo clean. More steps than I thought. Upstairs bathroom tub was very slippery and dangerous to stand and take a shower no trash cans upstairs. Washing dishes and putting away before 10 am checkout a little tight to leave on time.

Lovely & Convenient

This was probably the best stocked rental I've stayed in. All necessities and commonly used items were available. The beds were comfortable and the location is great. I think it might be a 5 minute walk to the beach, but it is easily doable. If we ever go back to Fernandina Beach, we will definitely try to stay there again.

First trip to Amelia Island

Our family really enjoyed the location of the condo and its proximity to the beach. The pool and condo amenities were also nice. We had difficulty with the pool pass working, but other families let us in during our stay, so it was not an issue. The condo was nice, it could use a new coat of paint, and there was a hole in the dining room floor behind the table, but the owner stated that it is scheduled for repair. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Nice condo complex near the beach

Forest Ridge condos are in a nice location, a close walk to the beach access. We took advantage of the pool and tennis courts and appreciated that it was a quiet condo unit closest to the beach. Renting golf carts allowed us to easily access downtown Fernandina and all the great amenities. The condo is comfortable but in need of a refresh and some repairs. The walls have some questionable stains, caulking throughout unit is old, there is a safety issue with a hole/broken flooring behind the kitchen table. Cleanliness was subpar compared to other VRBOs we have stayed in (stairs not vacuumed, cobwebs in various areas, vents upstairs covered in dust.) Had an issue with leaking primary bathroom sink that was remedied. Kitchen had everything we needed but pans are old and nonstick is chipping. Plenty of towels in the unit. Bed in primary bedroom was comfortable. Host was responsive but mostly interacted with property manager who was kind and helpful. While we enjoyed our stay, in the future I may search out another unit that is in better condition until this one is renovated.

Family Beach Trip

We had a large family beach trip and really enjoyed the property. The central space is great for meals and games, but there was also plenty of space for quiet times. Very short walk to the beach! Easy enough for a 4 year old. Also recommend Sliders Seaside Grill for breakfast and Cedar River Seafood for lunch or dinner. V Pizza also very good! The property also had everything we needed for cooking meals. Very pleased and had a great trip!

Clean, Comfortable & Close to the Beach

We flew in from NY and stayed for a week. Kurt quickly responded to any ?'s we had. Complex is only 1 block away from the beach (beach access #24) - nice & quiet since it's not on the main beach road. Condo was clean, comfortable beds, plenty of towels/beach towels. Kitchen had dishes, glasses, mugs, utensils, pots/pans - everything we needed. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores - we stopped at Walmart & Publix on our way in to pick up foods/drinks. You can rent beach umbrella/chairs or pick up some cheap ones at Walmart (we rented them). Bedroom with king bed and attached/shared bathroom on first floor and two other bedrooms are on the 2nd floor along with the other full bathroom. Full size washer/dryer which was convenient. Complex has a nice pool, there are a few ponds with fountains, playground and picnic tables. Parking for this unit was shaded which was nice.

Forest Ridge

Great location, comfortable furniture/beds and loved the quiet condo complex. Pool and tennis were easily accessible and never crowded. Beach is 2 blocks away and condo is well situated near stores and restaurants. We had a great experience renting bikes and chairs from the beach store nearby. The Egan’s creek greenway path is also easily accessible for biking/walking. Only opportunity for improvement are that some rooms could use a fresh coat of paint and windows are due to be cleaned as well but overall cleanliness was good. Owner/property manager were responsive when we had an issue that was quickly rectified. Thanks for a great stay!

Comfortable Townhome in Best Location in Forest Ridge

This is such a great townhouse in the best location in Forest Ridge, which is a hidden gem of a community. It is the closest to entrance, so closest walk to the beach. It is an end unit and entrances faces trees, so it feels private. Speaking of trees, we LOVE the live oaks and it's tranquil and shaded there. I could spend hours up on the deck watching people come and go. The inside is spacious with a foyer that separates into main living area and master or up the steps to other bedrooms, which makes it great for two couples or a multigeneration family. This is our second stay, last years with family and a toddler and this year with another couple. The living area is comfortable with Roku on big TV. The bedroom is comfortable with a great bed. The TV didn't work, but we didn't ask for repair. We just took a TV break. The kitchen and bath are adequate, having all you need, but not updated. This is a good stay for someone looking for a solid rental home in a great location. It is not for the people who want all the bells and whistles and extra supplies, but you won't pay for that either. The rental is an excellent value and we would stay again. It is truly comfortable in a convenient spot, which is an easy ride or walk to all the Island has to offer.

Perfect beach getaway

Kurt's townhouse was exactly what we wanted in the price range we had. The house was clean. The kitchen and bathrooms were well supplied. The master bedroom king sized bed was really comfy. The shower water pressure was great. The walk to the beach or the pool was easy.
