The pool will be closed from June 2 to June 5, 2025, for maintenance. A discounted rate will be offered during these dates as a courtesy to our guests.
* Nihau Building Discount (Spalling Work)
Special discounted rates are available in the Niihau building from June 23 to July 21, 2025, due to scheduled staircase, walkway, and lanai railing repairs. Work may extend until approximately August 4, 2025, and will take place Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Guests can expect some daytime noise or limited access on one side of the building during this period. Discounts apply only to the Niihau building, and rates and timelines will be updated as the project progresses.

This ground floor "get away" vacation home offers stunning oceanfront views and tropical breezes. This is one of the best beachfront spots in Kapa'a on private Waipouli Beach situated on the majestic Coconut Coast of Kaua'i. This studio has everything you'll need for a perfect Garden Isle vacation. Located at the popular Islander on the Beach Resort with an oceanfront swimming pool, hot tub and Tiki Hut bar, discover for yourself all the fun things to see and do walking distance away. This resort is next door to an open air restaurant and bar, "Lava Lava" featuring live music nightly, great food and specialty cocktails.There are many more shops and restaurants at the Coconut Marketplace just steps away on the other side of the parking lot. Islander also fronts a beach path for walking/running/cycling that goes for miles!
The unit also includes: High efficiency A/C; free WiFi; Flat-screen HD Smart TV; kitchenette with all necessary utensils, dishes and glasses; all necessary linens and towels (both regular and beach); under-counter fridge; microwave; coffee maker; electric hair dryer, iron, and ironing board.
Studio 153 was upgraded and fully furnished throughout. Wake up to fresh morning breezes after getting the perfect night's sleep on the King size bed that is comfortably furnished. Enjoy the outdoor BBQs at poolside, ground floor access and two ice makers on property.153 boasts unparalleled views of the Sleeping Giant (Nounou) mountain range and Waipouli Beach, and is in a breathtaking location on the Garden Isle. Enjoy easy access to a number of Kapa'a's biggest hot spots, such as Smith's Family Lu'au, Fern Grotto and Wailua Falls.
We offer free parking for our guests. This condo complex is centrally located to many popular island destinations. By car, it's approximately 12 minutes to Lihue airport, 50 minutes to Hanalei and 45 minutes to Poipu. Kaua'i, the Garden Isle, has so many beautiful sights to take in and Kapa'a is a great starting point to them all.
Important: We are not part of the hotel reservation system, there is no daily room service. You do have use of the common grounds, free parking as our guest, pool, hot tub, and pool bar. This is a privately owned studio that rents for less if you are looking to save money. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and stocked with start-up supplies. The studio is cleaned again upon check-out time. If you need new supplies, linens, towels, bed remade and additional spruce up clean, we do offer this additional service for a $70 fee per scheduled day. Please ask if you are interested in this service. If you need to do laundry there are Laundromats only a six to seven minute drive from the property.

*Early check-in and late check-out must be requested in advance. If Guest does not check out at designated time there will be a penalty of up to one extra night charge.
*Every Kauai Vision property listed is a NON-SMOKING home; be it inside the unit or outside on the lanai (balcony) or hallways. A designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building. There is a $500 fine for smoking. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.
*Please note that a $200 fee will be applied for the replacement of a lost key.
*Guest will be charged $25 if more than 2 garbage bags are left in the unit and extra cleaning if the unit is left excessively dirty or damaged the unit beyond normal wear and tear.
*IMPORTANT: The standard number of allowed guests is 3. If you wish to add more guests to your trip, there is an extra person fee of $30 per guest beyond the standard allowed guests.
If you think there is a chance you will have to cancel your trip, please consider purchasing trip insurance from the company we recommend (Yonder Insurance) and mention Kauai Vision Rentals sent you. Yonder gives back with every travel insurance policy sold and was started with a social mission in mind. "We will feed a hungry child for a week with every policy purchased." Providing meals for kids in Nepal and Burma. As Yonder grows more meals are provided to these remote places.
Any tax increases requested by the State of Hawaii will be passed along to guests. This privately-owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law. General Excise and Transient Accommodation taxes are collected and transmitted to the State of Hawaii on all rentals.
