Looking for a Gulf Front beach getaway with breathtaking views and an ocean as far as the eye can see? Sandy Frog is the perfect beach destination for you! In the mornings, enjoy a peaceful and beautiful sunrise over the bay from the front porch, and in the evenings become captivated with a breathtaking sunset on the back porch, facing the ocean.

Sandy Frog has 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and sleeps 10 people.

The master bedroom is located on the top floor with an open deck overlooking the Gulf. This room also includes a luxury separate soaking tub.
On this floor we also have a Queen and double bunk room that share a jack n jill bath

The main floor is the heart of the home, with a fully stocked kitchen that overlooks the bay, a dining area for the whole family and the living room that opens right into your front deck onto the beach. Also located on this floor is another queen room which offers a private bath, and a separate ½ bath at the end of the hall.

**Please note, this home rents from Saturday to Saturday, however please contact for different accommodations. This home is pet friendly, $150 per pet up to 2 dogs, and not cats.**

What an AMAZING week at the beach!

The his property was everything we’d hoped it would be for our family Valentine’s Day/Birthday beach getaway.The house was amazing! The beach was amazing! The communication with the owners was amazing!I just can’t say enough great things about the Sandy Frog! We look forward to making this an annual tradition!Thank you, Neldys!

Many problems

All outside lights out except 2 red one's on the back of the carport were out. Impossible to see outside @ night to walk the dog or enter the code into the door lock. 17 steps to climb just to get to the 1st level of the home. 18 steps to get to the upper level. Steps were slick and slippery. Would have been nice to be able to use the elevator but it was locked. Freezer had old food in it and was dirty. Garbage in kitchen garbage can. Hot water heater was off @ check in. Had to contact the cleaning company in order to find the electrical panel and turn it on. Water pressure was so low that you couldn't even take a shower. Lights in the master bedroom bedframe, one was burned out and the other was broken off in the light fixture making this a shock hazard. This truly could have killed someone. Some kind of red candy underneath the master bedroom bed, or red something, small pieces that our dog got in her mouth. Dirty spots on furniture. Towels left in the washer and the dryer. Left 2 days early. Tried to get a refund or a partial refund from the owner, after several emails. No answer - at all. Disappointed in this VRBO. Have rented many in the past and have had no issues.

Beautiful home right on the water

2 couples and their 2 dogs went for a quiet, relaxing 4 days. We had a really good time despite sleet, ice, and freezing temps- definitely different weather for Florida!! The house is very spacious with amazing views from the den and primary BR. With those amazing views comes lots and lots of light coming in so if you aren’t an early riser, bring your sleep mask. There are plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, but bring your own spices (we left salt & pepper for the next guests). Floors and bathrooms were very clean but counters and stovetop were dusty and the fridge appeared to have been cleaned with the wrong cleaner. Owner was nice, helpful, and always answered texts quickly. Can’t wait to go back to Sandy Frog!

Thanksgiving trip

Loved the views! Enjoyed the large kitchen! SOOOOO many stairs.. a flight of 10+ just to enter the house and another flight of 10+ to get to the bedrooms. There is an elevator- but it stopped working mid-trip. You have to pay an additional fee to get it RESET? We did nothing to it and it just stopped working. It is on the beach, but the pathway to the ocean is steep in areas. It was very tricky for our elderly family members. The house is nicely decorated, however, I feel that it lacks everything you need. Ideas- Put a chair in each bedroom, provide dressers/places to put luggage/clothes, and provide more hand/washcloths, bath towels, beach towels, and blankets. The front balconies have no furniture. A little table and chair would be great. It is nice overall but it could be amazing with a little more attention to detail. Coffee maker kept flashing CLEAN, ice filter indicated it needed to be replaced, ceiling fans were loaded with dust- Just needs a little more TLC. For the price we paid, we honestly expected a cleaner environment overall. GREAT communication with host! Immediate help when needed. :)

Just fine. Underwhelming ( and gross ) in some categories

There were things that were great and things that were awful & gross throughout our stay. We had 3 dead big cockroaches in the house. On all floors. The garbage pales were full when we arrived and were both dead and alive maggots all around the outside area that touched the house / you had to walk through to get To the driveway ..the smell was so bad. The room on the same floor as the kitchen didn't have any power (overhead light - fans - outlets Major construction going on right next door (a huge house is being built which they failed to mention and didn’t show in the photos The good - house was spacious , (clean other than what I mentioned, right on the water, and owners responded right away

Beautiful and comfortable house.

We had a good vacation at Sandy Frog. The only issues were: (1) the elevator got locked out, and (2) there was noisy construction at the property next door for two days of our five day stay. The house is beautiful. It has everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable!

Beautiful & Private

Perfect location for us! Away from the crowd and the beach at your back door. The elevator was a necessity for my husband, a rarity on the island. Peaceful.

Everything was Excellent

Perfect place to stay. Very spacious. Beautiful sunsets. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was a huge hit with our group. Host was easy to work with and answered my questions quickly. Definitely would stay again, 10/10!

Perfect Week

We had a wonderful time at Sandy Frog! Waking up to the sound of the crashing waves in the master bedroom was amazing. Clean and comfortable home that fit everyone's needs. Had a minor issue and the owner responded immediately and had it fixed right away, which was so appreciated. We have rented 5 homes in the Cape San Blas area and this one's location is the best so far. Thank you for the perfect place to spend a week relaxing with family!

Nice house, needs closets cleaned out.

House itself roomy, clean, well-equipped. Elevator was helpful. Wouldn’t stay again: of the 4 bedrooms none had a chest plus a place to hang clothes. 2 had a chest/no hang place, 2 had hang space/no chest. Closets were full of supplies like paint, ladder, you name it. Can easily be remedied.No instructions for TV’s.

Superb stay at Sandy Frog

We have stayed at Sandy Frog multiple times and absolutely love the property!! It is tremendously close to the beach which comes in handy because we can go out to the beach and then inside the home as needed within minutes! The views from the porches are superb!! It is the perfect vacation home for our family!! Neldys, our host, is readily available and always responds quickly to questions or needs!! We hope to book again in the future!!

Great time!

We loved the property and the location! This is the first time we have stayed at the Sandy Frog and about the tenth time on the Cape. The location was perfect and close to everything. Particularly the house was well appointed and the decoration was well done. We enjoyed every second of our vacation and appreciated all the little details of the property. We will definitely look at reserving this property again in the future!!!!! Side note - the owners are very responsive and attentive to their clients! Well done!!!!

Wonderful w a few shortcomings

this was the third year our family has stayed at Sandy frog. Wife passed away last October so we did this in her memory to carry on the tradition. Of the prior two years I never realize that the two guest bedrooms on third floor have no storage other than a small closet. Very cramped with an effort and one of those guestrooms. . Very cramped with an infant in one of the rooms share w parents, The other four year old grandson and the other. A side of that and the Tremendous beach erosion immediately behind the property (Thk Mother Nature) – It made it a bit challenging for my older self. We enjoyed it nonetheless and made the most of it. Thank you again.

Beautiful But Disappointed

House is beautifully located in regards to beach. Although, this house is located where there has been a substantial beech erosion from previous storms (original pic at time of booking did not show). Nicely decorated and layout was perfect for our fmly. Owners were quick to respond. We had a curtain rod failure situation as well as sheets that would not stay on mattresses on queen beds that was corrected quickly by owners providing a new curtain rod and larger king set. In being honest.... Had the property been clean i would have given more stars. Upon entry, the kitchen range was covered in food, microwave had to be cleaned out, kitchen cabinet pulls/ surrounding area was pretty nasty on most, toaster had crumbs on the top of it, bottom bunk bed had sand in it, sand on top of coffee table and floors were sandy, MB bathroom had lots of hair left from previous rentors on the baseboard in toilet room, and trash behind toilet. These situations are not what I expected for paying what we did for 10 nights.

The most amazing weekend

We loved every minute of our long weekend getaway and highly recommend. Location is ideal, located right on the beach, the home is private, clean and tranquil. Coffee on the deck, watching the sunset on the beach and stars at night were some highlights! Cannot wait to come back!

Beautiful time on the forgotten coast

We loved the stay. The owner was very accommodating when we requested to stay an extra day. It is just steps from the beach so perfect for relaxing. Our dog loved the beach too. Everything was perfect with the house. My caution to you would be to pay attention to booking because the owner adds a $1,088.00 host fee in addition to service fee and mandatory property damage protection. We also paid $150 in non refundable pet fees to an already expensive rental. We travel a lot and use VRBO much of the time.
