La playa en frente es un gran lugar para surfear peces, kiteboard, windsurf, jugar voleibol o relajarse. Nueva estufa de acero inoxidable, nevera con máquina de hielo, encimeras de granito, parrilla de gas de 4 quemadores, lavadora-secadora, televisores de pantalla plana, DVD en las habitaciones, videograbadoras completan el paquete.

The location of the house was extremely great. I couldn't ask for a better view from the house; however the dishwasher didn't work. I did call and said they would send someone to repair it. Tubs in the house had the surface peeling off, 2 king beds looked like they had not been make up correctly, Both couches and ottomans had stains as well as the rugs in the living area had multiple urine spots on them from previous animals. One of the arms of the couch is broken and had fallen in. The toilet holder on the main floor half bath was broken and half was hanging on the wall and was replaced with a Shark toilet paper holder that would not turn with a roll of toilet paper on it.This house just appeared like it hadn't been really cleaned when we entered. The ice maker wouldn't make ice. Inside stove was not cleaned. I feel like it was a lot of money for a week for a house i thought was in pristine condition by looking at pics and reading reviews but that is not what we got. Since it was just the two of us i could overlook some things but this house continued to have roaches even though they were dead, was not sanitary especially with animals in the house. If these issues was taken care of the house would be awesome.

Great house and location

The home was the perfect place to “do nothing” for a week! It was clean, relaxing, and the location on the beach was amazing. We had a wonderful family vacation. Lived that we had a beach gear credit and that we could do bonfires in the beach.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location in relation to the beach was very good. I can’t get past the condition and lack of cleanliness of the property. I have stayed in many vacation rentals, including two different properties on CSB through Coastal Joe. This property was not clean. When walking on the floors barefoot, your feet were black within minutes. The furniture and all throw pillows were dirty and stained. All of the blankets, etc in the closets were dirty and just thrown into the closets, not folded. We encountered no less than 6 cockroaches inside the home during our stay. I had encountered one in a prior property and it was dead - when reported, I was told that it was a sign the pest control was working. I can understand that. But in this property, there were several and they were large and some were alive. We made the best of the stay, but overall, the lack of cleanliness of the house made for a disappointing trip. I don’t need fancy, I just need clean, and this property was not clean. The beds were very comfortable.

The house needs a deep cleaning and some maintenance. Lots of black dog hair which is hard to keep up with and I know bc I had a black lab. The dunes have been washed away so I hope the county can address this before it is turtle season.

Nice relaxing stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great first visit to Cape San Blas! Very relaxing and peaceful place. Very different from our usual crowded beach vacation. We stayed at Glo’s. Beautifully decorated and most of the house was ver comfortable. Being steps away from the beach. Sunsets were beautiful! The only complaint I have is that the bed in the master bedroom needs a new mattress! I had to sleep in the bunk bed room. My husband slept in the middle of the bed in the master bedroom ok. We loved our time there. I would come back to Glo’s if the master bed is replaced.

Big issues, big potential.

We want to love this place, but it’s not well cared for. It’s an exceptional location, and the decor is pretty, but it needs much better maintenance. One of the rails of the top bunks was held partially with a zip tie in place of a bolt, paint was peeling off master bath ceiling, bunk quilts were very stained, ice maker was broken in fridge so they had a countertop ice maker that was so nasty and moldy. The bottom floor bathroom sink was also not working. There were a few other small things but it just kept adding up. The first day we were there we called and voiced our grievances; whomever I spoke to was very nice but it doesn’t change that this was a 3 star stay. No compensation was offered, and they only offered to bring more bedding. It did not fix the myriad of other issues here. For this price, this was not what we expected. Coastal Joe staff was hard to get on the phone. Extremely nice once you get to talk to someone though.

Perfect beach vacation

Loved this house! Steps to the beach, spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Upstairs screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee. Gate on lower deck was a great feature for having two small dogs with us. Dark curtains in the primary bedroom made sleeping easy. Would absolutely return to this property.

We love that the beach was at the doorstep and the outdoor porches were awesome!We were a party of 8 (4 kids and 4 parents). Everyone was comfortable. The kids loved the bunk room and the parents were happy to have king beds and plenty of space.

The perfect getaway

We loved the home, it was cozy and gorgeous. The location was perfection. It was the best place we could have chosen for our family vacation. The beach was beautiful, very private and relaxing. It is a great place to leave everything behind and enjoy peace and relaxation.

The location of Glo's Getaway is excellent. It is located within a minute of St. Joe Shrimp Company and Cape Trading Post. The home is beautiful, clean and well appointed. We absolutely loved being right on the beach and the lovely vegetation behind the home leading to the beach. We spent our week enjoying this awesome home, chilling on the beach and surf fishing. The staff at Coastal Joe Vactation Rentals was fantastic. They are super kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend Coastal Joe Vacation Rentals and Glo's Getaway!!!!

Perfect! Perfect! Perfect!

This was our first vacation in Cape San Blas, what a wonderful area! This house is perfectly situated with the beach as the backyard, general store and Peachy’s within walking distance, and state park a short drive down the road! The king bed is very comfortable! Kids said bunks were as well. Layout was great for our fam of 5, plenty of space. Renovations give updated look…screened in porch was awesome! We used lower deck as outdoor dining and living room! Best part of all there was no waking up early to score a great spot on the beach…just get out there when you want to, it was never crowded. With a little bit of a drive we enjoyed great restaurants in Port St Joe and Apalachacola. But there are 4-5 food options right around the house if you don’t want to make the drive. Smokehouse BBQ and Peachy’s were both a hit with us.

Always a relaxing week!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house for a 2nd year. Very happy with the updates to the kitchen and bathrooms. Kitchen supplies still left a little to be desired. No large fry pan for our party of 9. No baking dish. The washer and dryer were the same ancient machines and the dryer actually blew up while we were there (after I had called the management company and one of their guys stopped by). We had to hang our laundry to dry which was frustrating. Despite these things the house is super convenient to the Trading Post and on a great part of the beach! We always look forward to our week at the Cape.

The best things about the house were the porches, with amazing views over the water and the screened porch upstairs, and the easy staircase straight down to the sand. My two little kids could play in the sand at the bottom of the staircase while my husband and I drank coffee on the porch — perfection! It was great to be a short walk from the Tradin’ Post and Weber’s Donuts, too. This house is a little less “homey” than some but it was a clean, convenient, lovely place. Coastal Joe was great to work with, as always. Can’t wait to come back to the Cape.

My Happy Place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Two 60 year old women getting away from everything at the pseudo remote beach. This house is very nice. The third bedroom has bunkbeds which are for a family and if there were additional adults with us this would not have been a good bed for them. The kitchen is well stocked. The TVs are functioning but we are not real savvy with apps. The chairs are the deck are wonderful. The location of the home is unmatched. We are both a couple of clean freaks and we tried to keep up with the sand. Hopefully there will be a decent broom for the next folks.

The beach was nice and wide although there was a tide pool and public access directly beside the house that made it crowded a couple days. The house amenities were not updated but the recent change in ownership may change that. No matter what we always have a great week at the Cape!
