Definitely a stand out and NOT your typical vacation rental. Zen House Cocoa was carefully curated to create a restorative and nurturing sanctuary for your large group/family. Think amazing location meets swanky meets comfy meets tech meets fun. Zen isn't just serious; Zen can be fun. Zen is a vibe and we have it going on here at Zen House Cocoa.
Bedrooms are super comfy with pillowtop lux mattresses. We have 4 kings, 1 queen, and 2 twins. Sleeps 12 legitimately (no bunk beds or sleeper sofas). We are not at summer camp. 3 full baths, one of which is HUGE and ALL of which are totally renovated.
After a long day of exploring the space coast, settle in for a nice dinner with plenty of seating for 12. The large cooking/eating area is spacious yet designed for conversation. Wall tapestry sets the tone along with under-cabinet the smart light strips that can change color on your command.
Pop over to the living room space which also seats every one and catch your favorite movie on the big screen equipped with soundbar and subwoofer to feel the music or movie. Stream whatever you want with our speedy internet with Eero Extender.
Perhaps a stroll down to the river, or a bike ride. The river access is about a 5-10 minute walk. (please note: the pier is damaged from our last hurricane, but you can still enjoy the water front park.
The Zen continues outside. Step out onto the brand new paver patio and sit under the stars while taking in a Florida evening. For more relaxation, step into the hot tub with LED lights, take a seat by the fire on the coquina beach, or retreat to the “Turtle Shack” for a game of foosball, air hockey, or watch a movie on the big screen.
All of this zen is packed into a sweet space in an unbeatable location with direct access (no lights) to Rte 528 for heading to the beach (12-15 mins), airport (35 mins), cruise port (10 mins), and space center (20 mins). Or take a quick drive or bike ride down through Indian River Rd to the jewel of the Space Coast, Cocoa Village (5 mins drive, one light, 10 minute bike ride).
Publix and Walmart are both within 5 minutes for shopping and restaurants galore.

We have off street parking for 4 cars. There is a covered carport that will fit one full size and one small car. You can also park in front of the house, on the grass between the sidewalk and the street.

SHOES: Shoes off please.
CAUTION: Be aware of the step between the living room and kitchen, and the steps INTO and IN the laundry room.
A/C: Let us know what temperature you would like the house and we will set it remotely.
INDOOR FIREPLACE: Do NOT use.
CANDLES: Do NOT use.
BEDROOMS: Please be mindful and use the least number of beds necessary.
All 4 king size beds have black bedding. The 1 queen bed has grey bedding.
The daybed and trundle underneath have red bedding. If you need the trundle bed, the sheets, pillow, and comforter are in the closet.
BATH TOWELS: Please be mindful and reuse towels. There are two sets of towels in each bedroom.
BEACH TOWELS: There are 2 beach towels and 1 beach bag in each bedroom closet to use for the hot tub and/or to take to the beach.
HOT TUB:
--Please cover the hot tub when not in use.
--No glass in the hot tub.
--PLEASE shower to remove oils and chemicals prior to entering the hot tub. No lotions, sunscreens, bath oils, or bath salts in the hot tub. Just as you would not want other people’s “leave behinds” in the water, other people would appreciate not having yours!
TURTLE SHACK: Please discard all garbage and secure doors when not in use.
FIRE PIT: DuraFlame logs only.
BIKES: Bike use is at your own risk. Take the lock on your adventure and secure it/them if you are not with the bike.
NOISE: Quiet hours 10pm-8am. Consider the neighbors if you are enjoying the backyard. Absolutely no house parties.
PARTIES: NO! All guests visiting the property need to be identified by name and age through Airbnb.
SMOKING: No smoking or vaping INSIDE and no butts left outside.
PETS:
--No pets on any furniture.
--Please use the “hidden” yard to the left of the Turtle Shack for their bathroom area. It is unfinished for that reason!
--Clean up immediately after they poo. Less flies and less work later.
--Do not leave pets unattended outside if humans are away from the property.
--No dogs in the firepit "beach", for obvious reasons.
WASTE & RECYCLING: See side of kitchen cabinet.
DISHWASHER: You must push the start button TWICE. Close the door before the 4-second countdown ends.
WINDOWS: If you open windows, please be sure to click them shut the whole way.
ENERGY: Please turn off all overhead lights and ceiling fans when you are not present.
DOORS: Please lock all doors if you leave the property. The main entrance is through the keypad lock door under the carport.

Bob and Shannon are your hosts. We are the owners of Ayni Homes. Ayni is the word for reciprocity in the ancient Andean Q'echuan language. Our intention is to create beautiful spaces for folks to vacation and stay that will add value and memories to their lives. We go to great care in curating comfort, peace, and zen.
Bob is a musician, mystic, teacher – is to music what Wayne Dyer and Eckhart Tolle are to books and Rumi is to poetry. He has been called “Eckhart Tolle with a guitar”. He is a troubadour, a guide, and a musical mystic offering the soundtrack to your inner work.
Shannon is a shamanic practitioner, coach, singer, and speaker. She weaves the ancient energy work of the Shaman with the modern skills of a board-certified coach into a cohesive approach for those seeking a catalyst for their healing and personal growth journey.
Bob and Shannon travel extensively offering concerts, workshops, experiential retreats, and one-on-one coaching and healing programs for those relentlessly seeking practical and inspirational tools for the journey. Their online content has inspired thousands of people wanting full potential living.
They also founded “Where the Light Gets In Ministries”, a 501(c)3 whose mission is to provide personal growth programs to reach underserved populations and youth.

The neighborhood is a classic mid-century, quiet, Brevard County neighborhood very close to Rt 1, I-95, and Historic Cocoa Village. Many of the houses have been renovated or are being renovated. The proximity to Orlando (airport & theme parks), Port Canaveral, Kennedy Space Center, the beaches, and nature preserves makes it easy to home base and explore much that the area has to offer for kids and adults of all ages.

Indian River Rd is a beautiful drive or stroll, and a great spot to watch the rocket launches! 5 min drive to Cocoa Village along Indian River Rd for local dining, shopping, and live music. 10-15 min drive to Washington Ave Beach Access for the sun and sand lovers at the local beaches. 10-15 min drive to Cape Canaveral for cruise enthusiasts. 20 min drive to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Center for honorary astronauts. 20 min drive to Cocoa Beach and the infamous Ron Jon shopping complex for the hang ten adventurers. 35 min drive to Orlando International Airport for air travelers. 45 minutes to Disney World for the kids (and kids at heart).
