From our family to yours - the house was truly a labor of love, we offer this updated modern farmhouse home NESTLED BETWEEN BOTH LONG LAKE SANDY BEACHES. This is the perfect quiet getaway escape with plenty of space for your entire group and family to relax and reconnect. We are truly close to everything - Long Lake all water sports lake (we can recommend pontoon rental (**booked ahead of time ) and we provide 4 kayaks you can rent from us directly **liability form and a small fee applies), fishing, amazing wineries (It's Traverse City... Of course! ), tennis courts + community parks with play structures+ running track, Moomer's ice cream and farm, Jacob’s farm, Galagher’s farm, Great Wolf waterpark, Crystal Mt., downtown Traverse city, restaurants. - You name it, and it is all within 5-15min away!
**We offer a newer very spacious open floor plan house family owned - 2k+ sq ft RANCH with finished walk-out basement of the same size as a house (full of arcade games) on 1.2 acre secluded corner lot. 3 bedrooms on the first floor and 1 secluded spacious bedroom on the second floor, 2 full baths, Apple TV, Amazon Prime included service, amazon Alexa music, cozy gas fireplace, generous size fully equipped kitchen, balcony, kids' play structures in the yard, round fire pit for evening gatherings or s’mores with plenty of chairs to put around, bassinet for our little guests, high chair and much much more that is hard to list!

The home and surrounding area were beautiful. The house was spacious with many amenities. The entire rental experience went very smoothly. Leo was quick to respond to questions and was very helpful. I hope to be able to rent from him again.

The property was lovely and spacious. Appreciated having lots of seating in the main areas. We were very disappointed that the home's a/c was not working and we were not offered any concession especially given the cost of our stay.

The house was very nice. Host was responsive and helpful. Kitchen was lacking a bit with pans but we made it work. Enjoyed the basement with games. Very nice space to relax. The upstairs needs a bathroom. Seven people for two bathrooms was not easy.

We had a wonderful experience. The check-in process was easy, making our arrival stress-free. The house was clean, very comfortable and had a warm, welcoming feel. It was well-appointed with all the necessities, which made settling in easy and enjoyable. Communication with the property owner was prompt and helpful before and during our stay. Traverse City Wedding

We traveled to Traverse City for a family wedding and could not have been happier with the accommodations! The home was clean, up to date and had all the amenities you would expect or imagine! We would stay there again if we were to visit TC again! Thanks for a great weekend…it was wonderful!!!

Girls Weekend

We came up north with 6 ladies and this property met all of our needs. The house was clean neat in a quiet neighborhood central to many Traverse City activities. The bedrooms were comfortable and very accurate from the details in the listing. Ample amenities, stocked kitchen, -we especially loved the perfect sized coffee mugs! We did run a little low on paper towels and toilet paper, but that did not overshadow our satisfaction with the property. Great neighborhood to walk around. Everyone got a few walks in over the weekend. Leo was a great host and answered questions very promptly. We would stay here again!

Great house in a great location

Our family of 5 (kids 9, 11 and 14) stayed for three nights. The house was in a lovely neighborhood close to Long Lake. Property was super clean and just as pictured. It had everything we needed. Our kids had a great time playing games in the basement and we all had room to spread out. Another family could have easily joined us. We love the area and its proximity to everything. We spent one day at the Sleeping Bear Dunes and the beach. The next we took a hike to the Hippie Tree, picked fruit and ate lunch at Jacob’s Farm and did a tasting at Rove Winery before enjoying a family movie night on the couch (where we all fit). We only wish we had more time to stay. Thanks for the memories!

Lovely property as advertised. Home owner very easy to contact. Would definitely rent again. We left a phone and the owner was able to help get it shipped back to us. Michigan and especially Traverse City are beautiful and a lot of things to see and do in area.

Great Place!!

We took our mom (78 yoa) for a nice relaxing weekend w/family. Spent time at the National Cherry Festival, went to Moomers (a couple times), visited shops, and ate at many restaurants. Had a great time, wish the weather was a little nicer, but we’ll take it!

Fantastic home for large groups.

We stayed here for annual BFF weekend and this place did not disappoint. We are a group of 8 that get together in a new location annually. This home was very accommodating. We enjoyed the bonfire pit out back and played games in the basement. This home is located near Traverse City where we enjoyed shopping and wineries. We also took a trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes. I don’t think we’ll make it back since we goto a new location every year (I’m located in Georgia), but we highly recommend this home. You won’t be disappointed.

Family Gathering

Wonderful property in a great location. We weren't there for the beach, but it's in super close proximity to Long Lake. Also a quick jaunt to golf and restaurants and downtown Traverse City. We really enjoyed our stay. Large bedrooms, plenty of towels and essentials in the bathrooms and kitchen. Great games in the basement as well. Overall, we had a great time connecting with our adult kids in an environment where everyone had everything they needed to be comfortable!

Perfect for our family

We come up for Cherry festival every summer. This was the first time we stayed as a family under one roof. The house was perfect place for us to stay. Plenty of entertainment for the kiddos in the basement and yard. The open concept was nice to meet with everyone in the morning and figure out plan for the day.

A delight!

We had such a lovely stay at this Weatherwood property. Ample room for our family...3 bedrooms for the grownups and a spacious room for multiple kids! We felt at home right away. It was a welcoming home to return to after a busy day. We would not hesitate to stay here again , given the opportunity!

Interlochen Graduation Week

Having 3 bedrooms and 2 baths on the same floor as the kitchen, enternce, and deck was just what we needed. The beds in the bonus room/bedroom were fantastic for our young adults. 20 minutes to Interlochen and 20 minutes to town. We could not ask for more. Thank you

Great stay for girls trip

The house was so clean and had so much space for everyone. The beds were very comfortable and the house is in a great location!! If you are looking for lunch near by stop at fresh coast market! Rove winery was right up the road am so peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay

This is our family-owned home, cherished not only as a rental but also as a place where our own family gathers. We are two working professionals with three little ones (growing faster than we can keep up!).

Finding this property was a long journey—we were very particular about the kind of place we wanted for our family. When we discovered it, we instantly fell in love. It felt like the perfect long-term estate: a peaceful retreat for both us and our guests, nestled in a wonderful neighborhood.

We’ve poured our hearts into every detail to make this house a true gem, and we’re always looking for ways to make it even better (we really do love the little details!). The spacious, open layout makes it ideal for families to come together, celebrate, and create lasting memories.

This home is a keeper for us—and we think it will be a must-visit for you too. Come see for yourself!

Why would you want to rent our place out of the ample variety of other places? This is a spacious ranch house with 1+ acre land that can welcome 8+ guests overnight. It is tastefully decorated with much attention to details inside and out. It is nestled between the two sandy beaches of Long Lake with the boat launch on one of them. The location is so amazing that it is practically close to anything. These are just some examples: Walk or short drive to the beach, 8min to Rove vineyard, 15 min to downtown, 8 min to the major retailers, 5 min to Moomers and Jacob's, 2 min to tennis courts and kids playgrounds (but we also have a playground in our yard), fishing, Crystal Mountain 30min, Sleeping Bear Dunes 30min, Boyne Mountain 1hr. As this is a family owned place, you can expect the warmth as you walk in, you can expect direct communication with the owner, you can expect your family memories made here - this is not a managed cookie cutter, this is a FAMILY loved estate!
