This was a beautiful spot to stay. We wish we could have stayed longer here. Host was very informative and provided great information about highlights in the area. Spot was very clean and provided everything you needed.

Great location on water with deck for sunset near entrance to Cape Bretton Highlands NP. Well appointed property with everything needed for a stay to explore Cheticamp and the park. Had a great visit would stay again.

Oceanfront with beautiful sunsets! Great location with lots of restaurants and amenities nearby. Easy and quick access to the coastal Cabot trail and the national park. We were concerned about our arrival as I didn’t receive any communication via the app or email on check in instructions. I had reached out numerous times with no response.luckily the property was accessible when we arrived.

Great Place to stay in Chéticamp!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was fantastic, very convenient and close to restaurants and beaches and Cape Breton Highlands National Park. The view from the balcony was spectacular, and the place was spotless when we arrived and very well maintained. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to this beautiful part of Cape Breton.

Wonderful location

Can’t beat this location for proximity to Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Loved the deck on this property and access to laundry facilities.

This suite is very charming and the location is excellent. The view of the water from the deck is incredible and there are many restaurants within a short walk. The owners are very responsive and quickly fixed an issue with the TV. I highly recommend this unit and would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Location!

We stayed here two nights while we explored the Cabot Trail and Cape Breton. It was a perfect location right on the water! Beautiful view despite the poor weather we had. Nice to walk the boardwalk and walk to dinner. The placement of the potty in the bathroom was curious, but we had a giggle over it. That said, the kitchen was equipped with what we needed, beds were comfy, and it was a very cute apartment!

We loved this little cabin on the water. There is another place down stairs that is larger but this one room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Great place to stay!!

On the water

I travelled the Cabot Trail with my parents in their late 80’s and when I saw this place I was excited to stay there being literally right on the water. I don’t recall the listing mentioning the 16-17 steps to get into the unit and when my parents(3 knee replacements in total) heard they wereimmediately were disappoited. After a few minutes and with a little encouragement they decided to try. We were successful and once we were in we absolutely loved the place. All the conveniences required and beautiful weather definitely made it easy. No water or electrical issues and didn’t hear anything from the unit below. The sunset over Cheticamp Island was magical. We all agreed when we return this’ll be at the top of the list.

Un refuge de sérénité

il faut y séjourner plus d'un jour pour apprécier le paisible de cet endroit. Et comme nous avions aussi la température de notre côté, ce fut un gros plus. Lits confortables. Équipements très bien. Rien de négatifs à dire.

Lovely stay

The property was very clean, plenty of towels, the view was incredible can’t get much better than right on the water. Close to amenities and the owners messaged lots of helpful information with what to do, where to eat, etc. Would have preferred an earlier check in time, 4pm seems a bit late. Would stay again!

Acadian Beauty and Hospitality at its Best

Thanks Joeleen and Stéphane for sharing your beautiful place with us. It was unique, cozy, clean, and stocked with everything we needed from kitchenware to laundry soap to board games. The location couldn't be better - the serenity of being right on the water, the convenience of being able to walk anywhere in town, and a short drive to many spectacular trails in Highlands National Park. Your recommendations were really helpful too - the coffees and baked goods at Marguerite's were delicious. Thanks for giving us such a fantastic introduction to Cape Breton!
