The Secluded Pocono Retreat w/ Private Pool & Hot Tub

The secluded Pocono retreat house has a private pool and hot tub. The house has 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a laundry room, a dining room, a loft, etc. This house also includes a full basement that has a bar, tv, pool table, beer pong table, Pac-Man 2 player game system, foosball table, giant connect four, and chess game. Perfect getaway for a family and/or friends. The front of the house has an enclosed porch with a seating area. The back deck has a hot tub and a small and large eating area that leads to the fenced-in pool area. On the side of the house, there is a covered porch with another seating area. There is also a large fenced-in dog area that can be accessed from either the side of the house or the backyard. The backyard offers a fire pit with Adirondack chairs and a playset for children. This private property is a setback house off of a local road, with absolutely NO parties, rowdy behavior, or loud groups. Pet friendly (+$50/night).

- 2nd Bedroom (1st floor): 2 twin log bed frames, a toddler bed, a nightstand, and a closet with a cube organizer
- 3rd Bedroom (2nd floor): King log bed frame, two nightstands, a leather sleeper sofa with an ottoman, and an accent chair
- 4th Bedroom (Basement): Queen log bed frame, two nightstands, and a cabinet.

Living Room:
- Wood-burning fireplace
- 58” Roku TV. No cable TV, but you may log in to your own streaming services such as Netflix or Hulu on the apps.
- A loveseat, a couch, and an oversized chair

Loft:
- 58” Roku TV. No cable TV, but you may log in to your own streaming services such as Netflix or Hulu on the apps.
- Desk with a chair
- A queen-size sleeper sofa and a loveseat

Basement:
- Pool table

Most rooms have ceiling fans.

Other things to note
Pool:
The opening date for the pool is Memorial Day weekend and closes on Labor Day weekend. Message in advance for pool opening and availability.
Pool is open for renters unless closed for service, repairs, or treatment. It will be reopened once the issue is rectified. Do not enter the pool area while the pool maintenance people are working at the pool. Pool Code will be given once pool rules have been and written confirmation is given. There will be no refunds issued should the pool be closed or if the guest's use is revoked due to their behavior.

FIRE PITS/OUTDOOR FIRES/FIREWORKS
- There is a fire pit located in the backyard.

GENERAL RULES FOR ALL FIRES CONDUCTED (From Township):
1. Must be attended at all times by an adult
2. A fire extinguisher, garden hose or other means to provide enough water to extinguish the fire must be readily available to control the fire.
3. The fire must be completely extinguished when not being attended by an adult.

- Fireworks of any kind, no matter how small, are absolutely prohibited. These rules are seriously enforced by the township.

PETS
Pets are welcome, but there is an additional $50 fee. Must be fully house trained, leashed while outdoors, and dog waste must be picked up outside. Also, while the house is fully cleaned between guests, I cannot guarantee an allergen-free house for guests with sensitive pet allergies.

ITEMS PROVIDED AT THE HOUSE
- Kitchen: dishes, pots, pans, baking sheets, cutting boards, utensils, measuring cups/spoons, glasses, mugs, Keurig Duo for carafes and k-cups, toaster, blender, trash can, sponge, glass cleaner, surface cleaner, broom/dustpan, vacuum, paper towels, children place sets, and wooden high chair.
- Bedrooms: comforter, pillows, extra blankets and pillow in the closets, clothing hangers, and cube storage
- Bathrooms: 2 rolls of toilet paper, hand soap, and the 1st-floor bathroom has a hair dryer
- Laundry: washer/dryer, laundry soap, iron, and iron board

ITEMS TO BRING (NOT provided at the house)
- Kitchen: pantry/food items
- Bedrooms: bed sheets and pillowcases
- Bathroom: bath towels and personal toiletries
- Laundry: fabric softener
- Outdoor: charcoal/lighter fluid/lighter for grill, pool and hot tub towels.
- Other: baby/children's cribs, pack-and-play, etc.

TVs
There are 3 Roku TVs located in the living room, loft, and basement. It is not connected to cable. You can log in to your own subscription accounts, such as Netflix or Hulu. You can also view free tv shows, movies, and music through the apps.

TRASH
Go down the driveway, before you get to the street (State Route 534) keep left and you will see the dumpsters on the left-hand side. Please discard your trash in the BLUE dumpster on the left. To open the dumpster, pull the silver pin to unlock the door and slide the door left or right. Make sure you lock the door with the silver pin to keep the bears out. Thank you!

SNOW
During winter there is a plow service that will plow the driveway and shovel a path to the front door after the completion of storms over 6" - you must move your vehicle(s) to the street first. The plow truck will not plow any snow under 6." There is a shovel and salt stored at the house for your convenience. Please take this into consideration when booking during the snowy months.

OTHER
Must be over 25 yrs old to book and the booking guest must actively stay at the house for the duration of the reservation.

Guests are not permitted to smoke any substances (cigarettes, vape, e-cigarettes, hookah, incense, etc) inside the house or within 10 feet of the house outdoors.

Guests are required to read and follow the house, pool rules, and the rental agreement. Loud parties, rowdiness, or disorderly behavior are strictly prohibited and subject to fines and/or reservation cancellation.
