We are opening our family vacation home to guests. Bring your family to this peaceful spot in the mountains! The area is very safe, quiet, and perfect for a weekend getaway. Wake up to deer in the front yard and keep an eye out for elk and wild horses in the neighborhood.

Restaurants, bowling, a coffee shop, gas station, and other amenities all within a few blocks. Hiking, fishing, biking, camping, boating, golfing, skiing, snowboarding, casinos, and more are all within a short drive.

Perfect little house for a golf stay.

Me and two other guys stayed here on a golf trip we took to Ruidoso and the house was perfect for us. Centrally located from the golf courses, so it was great.

Nice and clean

House was in a nice quiet neighborhood with lots of deer. There was three flash flooding events but thankfully the house was in an area that doesn’t flood. Great base camp for our hiking and adventures! Very clean and comfortable.

The location of the property was convenient to restaurants and grocery stores. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife on the way to and from the house. Some deer visited while we were there, too. The house has enough space for a group of up to 6 to be comfortable. The house needs some updating. The carpet has stains and is dated. The stove/oven and dryer could be updated as they have issues with working properly. The house is dark and we used the lamps during the day. We enjoyed sitting on the porch.

Great stay with awesome host!

We arrived in Ruidoso at 5am, way earlier than expected and Aric the host responded to us and let us check in early. Which was a blessing after a 20 hour road trip. It was perfect for our family of 5 while in town. Will definitely stay again if out that way.

Family getaway

The place is small and cozy......the main restroom need some upgrades like paint and new toilet seat. The carpets should be washed they have big stains. In the closet with bunk bed there was dirty sheets. The restrooms didn't have shampoo or soap. I personally think is a little overpriced.

Hunting trip

House is nice and cozy; heater is great and fireplace was nice (bring or gather your own wood) the screen door needs to be fixed it wouldn’t stay closed and bounced off the house all night, plus it would have been nice to leave the main door open on warm days. Portable heaters for back room definitely helped! Washer and dryer nice to have but dryer is old so takes time to dry. Kitchen needs some serious tlc, no hand towels, one dish cloth, silverware and items in every drawer, I organized some lol it drove me crazy. Stove works but it’s old too; so give it time to heat the pan and you’re good to go! Oven works well! This house is in a neighborhood but it’s very quiet and we did get to see many deer. We’d stay here again.

We stayed in this cabin over Christmas! It was perfect size for our family and accommodations were spot on! We will be back next year to stay again, it was a great house!

Thanksgiving getaway

Location was great. Amenities were disappointing. The fireplace was dirty along with the area in front of it. I was not able to log on to the TV to watch my Thanksgiving football game. There were towels left in the dryer that were not finished drying and no iron to be found.

Ruidoso Trip

Overall we had a great time. The things that we liked: cleanliness except, carpet was old and stained, quiet neighborhood, great deck, beds were comfortable. Things we were disappointed in: old stained carpet and rugs, home is smaller than appears in pictures, old batteries in some remotes, appliances are dated and stove top did not work efficiently however the oven baked fine. For those on a budget this would be a fine choice.

Ruidoso Wine Trip

We had a great time! We were comfy, warm, end enjoyed our short stay. FYI, The Brita water container leaked in the refrigerator so we took it out. Some of the water froze on a shelf. We used the refrigerator very little though. The hand soap containers were not filled, but we did find some and fill them up ourselves. Everything else was perfect and we really enjoyed ourselves. Deer came up to the porch area and we enjoyed just watching them.
