What a beautiful location! The place is just as pictured. When I look at properties, it's always kind of difficult to picture what is there. The pictures were all accurate. I did have a bit of confusion as to where the bedrooms were, but not a big deal. You enter the unit on the main floor, which includes the living room, dining room, kitchen and a full bathroom. A flight of stairs up takes you to the main bedroom, 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, full bathroom and a beautiful view of the lake. From the main floor, a flight of steps down takes you to the lower lever where there is a full bathroom, a bedroom (no view) with 2 twin beds and a bedroom with 1 queen bed and a wonderful view of the lake.This unit included everything we needed for a weekend, including wonderful, beautiful bedding, well-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, plenty of seating and an outstanding view!We had the opportunity to meet Frank and his son Steven. They were both so nice, kind and welcoming! We loved their advice as to places to eat, shop and have fun! The bonus was that they made sure the sun shined our entire visit!Prior to our visit, Frank made sure we were aware that there were lots of steps down to the unit. He was right! But we managed just fine.We highly recommend this place!

Great stay with friends. Really fun property with amazing views. Step out of your bedroom and on to the dock! Great setup for 3 couples. Would definitely stay again if in the area

Staying here was fantastic. The views are breathtaking, the beds are very comfy, and its incredibly clean. I would easily stay here again!! Highly recommended!

Great for a family gathering

It was beautiful. We had extended family stay in the smaller cabins, and we stayed in the Boathouse #6 and had a very good time all together for meals and cards.

What a perfect location and perfectly kept house. Clean and very well stocked. Frank (owner) was so great to work with. Right on the beautiful lake. Will definitely look to book again soon!

Can’t get closer to the water than cottage 6 - beautiful!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed 3 nights in cottage 6. The sunrise was spectacular. Had a great time on the pontoon boat. Frank was a very responsive host.

Charming classic lake resort

Crown Point Resort is a gem on Lake Kegonsa, owned and run by a very personable host. We stayed in cottage 6, the boat house. It was clean and tidy and had all that we needed for our brief stay. Comfortable beds too - and A/C was a necessity during the excessive heat. Glad we also had the lake to chill out in. We would stay here again.

Wisconsin lake getaway

The boathouse cabin was great. Super clean, very unique and comfortable for 6 of us. Exceeded my expectations. We would love for this to be a yearly vacation. The owner, Frank was helpful and very accommodating.

Wedding in Madison

Awesome views from almost every room. Stayed for family wedding weekend. Close enough to Madison to make a good base to go to family functions and back. Very comfortable house and nicely appointed.

Perfect for a fall weekend

Very convenient to downtown Madison for Badger football without the ridiculous hotel prices of downtown. About 20 minutes to the stadium.

We were in town for the Madison Ironman so we didn't get to spend a huge amount of time on the property but it was absolutely beautiful.The communication with Frank was top-notch and very responsive. The views out the window were beautiful to wake up to and see before we went to sleep at night. We were right at the Lakeshore and the stars at night were stunning.The cottage itself had everything we needed for five adults and we were very very pleased.

Wonderfully Relaxing

The house was perfect for a family of 6. Listening to the waves at night and early morning was wonderful. Frank, the owner, was excellent with communication and helped get our luggage to the rental. Overall, excellent stay. We will return for sure.

We are four friends who met in Chadbourne Hall 50 years ago. One of us was recently diagnosed with ALS and while it was a challenge to get down the hill, we thoroughly enjoyed the patio and the beautiful views. Many thanks to Steve who sherpa’ed us up the hill. Very nice memories were made.

Beautiful Lake House

Nice house with lovely lake views. Great communication! Comfortable and clean. We used it as a base to explore Madison, Devil's Lake, Baraboo, and The House on the Rock. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful House

We stayed here because of a graduation and the Christmas holiday as a family. It was fantastic. Very nice house and beautiful views of the lake. Frank, the property owner, was very pleasant. Fortunately, we had no issues. Highly recommend.

Relaxing Weekend

We visited the area to visit University of Wisconsin and attend a football game. The boathouse was perfect for our group of six. It was a short drive to Madison and provided a “cozy” place to relax. Loved having 3 full bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and the view was beautiful. Frank was kind, friendly, and helpful.

We'll come back!

This is a beautiful location (literally, just a few feet off the lake) and a nice home. I was impressed with how large the home is - it's larger than it appeared in the images. We'll definitely return to this location, if it's available, when we have our small family reunion again next year. 5 stars from me!
