The house is spacious and immaculately kept. The owners were quick to answer questions as well. Location is perfect to access all that western South Dakota has to offer. We had an excellent time. Bonus, the local coffee house was awesome!

Host was very responsive. The collection of board games was excellent. We would’ve appreciated if the house was stocked a bit for a one week stay . We had to go shopping for paper towels, TP, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, etc .

Very comfortable place to stay. The house was clean and as described. Location was good with easy access to the highway to get to all the surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend.

This VRBO was great! Very clean, well stocked and a great location for Rushmore, Wind Cave etc. Thank you, if we are up that way again we will certainly rent again!

Tour of Badlands and Black Hills

We picked this place due to its convenient location to the Black Hills and Badlands NP, and not wanting to move from different locations, so staying in Hermosa was a good choice. House was clean and had everything we needed.

We enjoyed the location of the house—nice quiet neighborhood, close to Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, etc. The house was roomy and felt like home!When I booked the house I didn’t notice that the house was pet friendly, and it does smell like animals.

Great place, we are a family of nine, we had plenty of sleeping options. A baby bed and high chair were provided. We divided up the cost of sharing a house as opposed to getting hotel rooms, big savings. We ate out for lunch and cooked dinners in.

Wonderful Time in South Dakota

We had a great time staying at this home in Hermosa. The house is wonderful, the neighborhood is nice and quiet, and the location is perfect for all the main attractions.

Frying pans have scratches in the coating
There were some existing damages - the most was the floor in the master bedroom...it has a hole underneath the carpet.
The railing is a potential hazard as it is loose.

Awesome property in convenient spot

Great, quality home in a quiet neighborhood. Very convenient access to area attractions. Property is clean and provided all necessary amenities to enjoy our stay in the Black Hills area. Make sure you check out Hermosa Coffee House if you stay there.

Comfortable and Clean Home

My brother and I came up for the Buffalo Round Up at Custer State Park. The house was convenient to all of the Black Hills locations we wanted to see. It was clean and well equipped and met or surpassed all of our needs.

We enjoyed this property! House was nice and clean with easy access. Neighbors put on a great fireworks display that we were able to enjoy from all sides of the property. Would definitely recommend this property to others!

It was a nice clean place to stay in a good location. We loved the location and all the tips for things to do in the area and we did a lot of them. The only down side was the WiFi was not very strong which made it a little hard for my husband to get some work done. It also had a smell of dog which was a little hard for my daughter and I . There was also a little bit of damp carpet in the master which I wasn’t sure if that was from a recent cleaning. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay! The hosts were ever attentive in answering questions. Nice place!

Property was centrally located for all of our planned daily trips. The yard was not particularly well kept and the chairs they provided for outdoor seating were more like small tables.

Wonderful out of the way home

This is a great house in a small town on the southeast edge of the Black Hills. Just south of Rapid City and near Keystone. This is place is great without the higher prices that the bigger towns charge. Big bedrooms, living room and kitchen. There were 7 of us and we didn't get in each others way. Highly recommend this place.

Family Vacay

We enjoyed our stay! The home was comfy, clean and had all the necessities.There was plenty of room for 6 adults although we had to stagger showers since the hot water ran out quickly. The internet was slow so definitely plan on just relaxing and disconnecting while there. The location was great too. Close to restaurants and stores. Just a short drive to many other attractions in the area. The front and rear deck areas need some love and repair, but overall a nice rental. Hosts were very friendly and helped with whatever was needed.

Perfect Location

This home was the perfect location! Centrally located in a wonderful little town that gives you access to anywhere you want to go in the Black Hills! This home had everything we needed for a week long stay with the family. Traveling with a toddler can be challenging however they layout of the residence was great and everyone had they own space to retreat to when needed. I appreciated the kitchen having so many items available to us to make cooking for 6 much easier! The owners were easy to get ahold of and communication with them was a breeze. We plan on being back! Thanks again!

The best benefits of our house is the town it is in! We have a little grocery store, Hermosa Coffee House (which also has delicious food by the way😉), & overall very nice people in the town. Take a stroll & enjoy your coffee watching the sunset/sunrise.
