Worth It, Such An Amazing Stay!

We had the best time celebrating my birthday at this property with friends and family. Everything was clean and as pictured. Everyone raved about the property and it is even better in person. The views and the area are gorgeous. The house is spacious, warm and welcoming with plenty of room for everyone to sleep and move about. We had no issues during our stay and everything worked as needed. Danielle, our host, was an absolute pleasure to communicate with before, during, and after the trip! All her instructions were clear and easy and she gave us recommendations for what to do in the area as well. Would 100% recommend this property to anyone who is looking in this area, it's worth it!

Fall Family weekend

Beautiful property inside & out. This home had everything we needed (& more) for our fall family weekend. Plenty of space to spread out. Great kitchen to prepare meals for the whole group. Beautiful deck with grill to cook out. Game room was appreciated for our 1 rainy day. Host was very quick to respond to my questions and helpful with recommendations for the area. Our whole family is looking to return next year.

The perfect stay!

This gorgeous property has so much to offer! From all the entertainment to hibachi table, it was perfect for 14 of us. Not to mention, the theater was perfect for a scary movie night! The house was stocked with everything we needed. Danielle was extremely accommodating and checked in with us often. We will surely come back next time!

Perfect home for a get together with friends

The house was perfect for our group with lots of space to enjoy everyone while allowing for privacy as well. The kitchen is large and well-equipped and the large stove and island allowed for easy cooking. We loved the back deck and fire pit too as well as walking around the yard and into the woods on a great path. The bathrooms are pretty and the whole home was very clean. All in all a great place!

THE BEST!!!

Such a great property for a long weekend with friends and all the kids. The game room was a huge hit and so was the movie theater. Host was amazing gave us a great list of places to eat and things to do and was super responsive when we couldn't get the projector to work. Overall the best VRBO rental I've stayed in I think and we do stay in one 1-2 times per year. LOVED THIS PLACE AND SO WILL YOU!!!!!

It was a house of extra-ordinary magnitude

I was searching for the right word to describe the house, and the best one I could come up with is... PERFECT! We're a bunch of guys who grew up together, now in our mid-40s and mostly married with kids. But every summer we go off for a long weekend to grill, drink, play poker, listen to music, and generally just relax. And this house is easily near (or at) the top of the list of all houses we've stayed at. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, the back deck is beautiful, firepit is great, and the kitchen was roomy enough to handle all of our various cooking projects at once. (Also, first house we've ever stayed at that has an outdoor hibachi grill! We made use of that for a few different meals.) The standout memory for me is all of us sitting on the couches on the back deck, sipping gin & tonics as the sun set behind us. Beautiful, and - did I mention already? - perfect. Thanks Danielle!

Relaxing stay in the mountains

Perfect spot for a nice weekend getaway with friends and family. Property was just as described and communication with the owner was seamless. House has tons of activities and games and the hibachi table allowed for a nice change of pace from burgers and hotdogs. Can’t get closer Bethelwoods unless your performing on stage. If your lucky you may even get a visit from a friendly chocolate lab. You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful house with a great host

We really enjoyed our stay here. Danielle was very responsive and helpful. The house was wonderful, it was clean and spacious with amazing views. Would definitely recommend!

Gorgeous home in a stunning setting!

It's hard to know exactly where to start with this review......and it's all amazing! First of all, Danielle couldn't have been more hospitable and communicative before and during our stay at her beautiful home. Our party included a group of friends that have been vacationing together in the Catskills over Labor Day Weekend for over 25 years - in all the years we've been doing this we've never been treated so well by a property owner. Danielle provided a ton of information about her home and on the surrounding area in the weeks leading up to our stay. When we arrived, we were greeted by a basket of welcome treats and a warm welcome and Danielle checked in with us a few times just to make sure all was well. The house is just stunning - recently renovated with beautiful taste, brand new appliances, and a wide open floor plan....perfect for a large gathering. There is a highly functional kitchen with everything you will need - and a very large island on which to prepare and serve your meals. The living room area has ample and comfortable seating and is adjacent to a game room complete with a pool table, air hockey, foosball, and even a PacMan machine! Sleeping accommodations are spacious and very comfortable. Want to spend some quality time outdoors? An enormous deck waits for you in the back of the house, and then steps away from that is a large fire pit with additional seating, and a brand new pergola with ample firewood. The house is set on a large plot of land (our dog loved all the open space) overlooking rolling hills - and a sunset that is just breathtaking. And, 2 miles down the road (and a beautiful 40 minute walk) sits the historic site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival....along with a museum that is worth the trip as well. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better setting for our annual vacation in the area and will look forward to returning to Danielle's home in the coming years.

Very comfortable, enjoyable stay!

We loved our little vacay to this cozy country house, it was all new and modern but still had a warm, country feel. Danielle was super responsive and accommodating in answering a few little questions that popped up during our stay. Wi-Fi and AC worked great, I have been home for three days and want to go back!
